      I worked a metal fabrical factory job last year in Norway. I was making heavy concrete reinforcement rebar for some windfarm in the middle of the north sea. The job was extremely boring, so boring that we got 2 extra 15 minute breaks in addition to the standard 30 minute lunch break a day. Also because the job was pretty heavy, just to keep people around not quiting. The pay was about $36,000 annually without overtime pay. So not bad for a 19 year old paying 27% tax since this was at the last 5 months of the year, so i got taxed for 16k but otherwise it would have been 33% i think for 40k w overtime. I did get lucky with geting the job tho. Most at that age work part time retail or making about 20k as inters.

    Just a question from a future doctor wanting to move to Norway. Can you have a decent life with a Junior doctor salary, like for example rent a good apartment (t1 or t2) in the city or have a car if you live outside the city?

      Luxuries are very expensive, but the basics are very cheap, with the exception of alcohol, where cheap booze is expensive while expensive booze is cheap.

    Hallo Ursa,
    wie viel Steuer muss man grob abziehen aus der Gehalt in Norwegen? Zum Beispiel in Deutschland als Steuerklasse 1 ist fast 50% steuern und der Rest bleibt netto. Wie ist das in Norwegen?

    • @Gran_Torino
      @Gran_Torino Год назад +1

      Hi Kilde. I am Norwegian, and will answer for you. In Ursa's example, let's say you make 1,000,000 kroners per year before taxes. That is about 100,000 euros per year before taxes. On your whole salary you will pay 328,000 kroners in taxes, meaning 32.8% taxes. But that is before deductibles. For example, you have deductibles for things like interest rates on loans, gifts to charities, day care for children etc. However, as Ursa explained in the video, there are different tax brackets. So you pay a higher percent of tax the more money you make. For example, if your income is 500,000 kroner per year before taxes, or 50,000 euros before taxes, you pay 123,598 kroner in taxes per year. That is 24,71% taxes.

    • @BurimPrroi

      @@Gran_Torino Thank you for the answer. In both cases seems much better than in Germany, where we pay 47% taxes if you are single.

      I just looked it up and if you're under 16, you will be making at least 118,41 NOK/hour (11,33 Euro) in Norway. When you're over 18, you'll make 11,62/hour. After six years, you'll earn 21,22. A Norwegian work-year is 1695 hours.

    Why do you focus on income ? I dont want forreigner to come to Norway because of the salary only.. You come to Norway because you want to do a good job here with good attitude/ integrity. NOT corruption... We dont want that... Then you must leave. The focus on money gives me a bad feeling. The intension to come here is wrong...

    The financial market has been a really tough one this past months, but I watched an interview on CNBC where the anchor kept mentioning “…DAVINA NORMAN…”. This prompted me to get in touch with her, and from October 2021 till now we have been working together, and I can now boast of $15k in my trading portfolio

    • @lucyweilbel6681

      I earned more this year because I have been investing while working at the same time. I invested through Mrs Davina Norman, same woman that the anchor kept mentioning on CNBC, and made multiple of my start up capital within three months . She lives here in the USA and she is licensed.
