Unrelated to the video: My long distance partner and I just got married and moved in together. I wondered if you would be willing (after your trip home, of course) to do a video about your experience with that transition and the millions of ways that moving in with a long-distance partner can be amazing and difficult. I have been surprised by number of things that we just subconsciously do differently and assume the other will do the same way. it's maybe been a bit of a struggle initially. I think it would just be helpful to hear your experience. Of course, that's a rather personal thing to share so I understand if you'd like to keep that between you two. just an idea/suggestion.
Hello, I liked the video, same as most of you put out here. but the rain cloud over the lake was a cherry on top. We had couple of drought weeks/months here and it just rained a little today 🙂So I can't believe you left your garden for couple weeks unattended. If it rains well enough in Colorado I seriously envy you :-D Enjoy stay away from home, bye bye 🇨🇿
Hello Imy, this was the first banana bread I made and liked. So a first BB in my life I liked. My bananas were almost liquid and at the same time I had chickpea liquid at hand too. Thanks, Bye
Great video. Is anyone going to water your garden or do you have an irrigation set up? I like to watch Pick Up Limes for some great vegan recipes. I think you'd like her also.
I love, love, love that you have revived Immy’s Book Club!! Wild swimming and leisure reading define summer for me!! Thanks for this quick glimpse into your current reads and that inviting lake!! If I was to visit such a stunningly beautiful lake with a stack of books… it would be so very hard to eventually go home!! Enjoy your precious time there… swim?? Anyone?? Ⓜary💕💦📚
Great as always! Love the garden! For babymouth: The seeds are not the hottest bit (try just a seed to check), the hot bits are the white bits/walls inside the chili. I tend to use the word "makrut" instead of "kaffir" due to the racial connotations of "kaffir". Maybe another spice you can look at with respect to the history of the plant (name)? I really liked the vanilla video and would like to see more of this type of content. But first have a safe and enjoyable trip!
I would love to see a video about your low waste coffee routines! I always see great coffee setups in your videos, and I love that you and your husband are excited about trying new coffee shops often. Even when it's just a little snippet of the video, I really enjoy seeing it. I am a barista and a home brewer and I've watched your channel for a long time, and I've noticed lots of changes in the ways you brew in the morning that are still low waste.
Hi Immy - haven't looked at your Videos for a while (since you moved). Your Garden looks great with all that home grown food - well done! - enjoyed - you are clever - will be catching up with you on RUclips. Really pleased you going to be doing Book Club too - Have a lovely time in Michigan :)
It's been very smoggy here in Michigan from the Canadian fires. I hope it clears up by the time you get here (and the fires are under control too). Safe travels.
Nebraska actually has a National Forest that my partner and I camp at regularly: Halsey National Forest. Unfortunately, a fire did quite a bit of damage along the hiking trail and destroyed the fire watch tower, but still worth checking out! Another cool (but maybe more expensive) place to camp is Smith Falls- the tallest waterfall in Nebraska. Both places opened my eyes to what beauty actually exists in this fly over state that I was ignorant to for most of my life, despite being born and raised here.
We harvested our first tomato of the season yesterday! I wish my neighbors were giving away more plants haha! Hope yours took them :) great video Immy ❤
POV: pre-trip cooking and cleaning for several days which ultimately will make your holiday so much more enjoyable when you do finally bust out of the kitchen and hit the road!! I find that when we grow and cook our own plant-based food, we become rooted (yes, the pun is intended) in our garden and our kitchen. Whilst this is a wonderful way of life, it certainly makes it very challenging to pack up and head out on a trip. Tbh… I was comforted to see that you too, Immy, have a massive pre-trip “To Do List”. I can totally relate!! Everything looks so delicious and I bet it tastes even better when enjoyed at a picnic table or a campsite. Oh, be still my beating heart… that lake steals my heart every time!! Swim?? Anyone?? Ⓜary💕💦🌲
@@kateannesandefur Thanks for the camping hot spot tip!! If I’m ever in NE I’ll be sure to follow up on your recommendation. Hope you enjoy some camping this summer. Ⓜary🏕
I’ve decided to be vegan one day a week and need to go back and watch a bunch of your cooking videos! I was feeling a bit uninspired and thought, Immy!
If you have time, I’d love to see your shower products, specifically what you use in your hair to keep your curls so beautiful :) (from a fellow curly girl)
Mmmmichigan! ❤Thank you for that last bit of video, it warmed my homesick displaced Michigander heart. Enjoy your time there, and say hello to that lake and those trees for me. 🙂
What makes me nervous about cooking is my inability to store a food. I always feel bad if the produce go bad. This video gives me many ideas for cooking ❤
Lovely video Immy, great to see how far your vegetable garden has come! I love the silver necklace you wear in this video, the one with the moon phases, where did you get it? Thank you, enjoy your time off with the family!
I like your shirt! Where did you get it from? "No matter what" is a phrase that is part of my daily values and vision statement. How cool it is on a shirt
thanks for the tip on yondu. Have you tried yuzu koji? There are red and green varieties and equally delicious. I love some on mori-nu yuzu soft tofu with some ponzu.

We love camping at Eugene Mahoney State Park in NE! It has a super fun water park and makes a great spot for camping on a cross country trip!

Hust as an FYI, "Kaffir" is a slur, actually. Makrut lime is a more respectful name
