I don’t like how people go off on miles and faith more than they do Max and Kenny because Miles and Faith was a vulnerable moment. They instantly regretted after. Max and Kenny stayed together and married and had kids. Plus Terri herself understood what led up to it in the end of the movie when Miles told her we haven’t been happy for a long time now and Terry says I don’t know what happened. Not saying it was right for him to cheat of course but I understand what led up to it.
Once about a woman gets the blame for 'seducing' a man. Never mind the fact the husband (Miles) knew he was already married to Terri and should have stayed faithful.

Soul Food is a movie about a big, humongous, black grandmother, aptly named Big Mama. Big Mama demonstrates her love by feeding herself and her offspring enormous amounts of pig lard. Then - get this - Big Mama's arteries are so clogged, they gotta amputate her arm. And what does the family do after she dies? They get together for a Sunday dinner and eat the same food that just killed Big Mama. The *same* food. They didn't learn a lesson, nobody went on a diet, and that's the end of the movie.
