    I love this song. I just came from a drum tutorial on Stephen Clark's channel and the rhythm reminded me of this classic.

    Hey, thanks for your constructive comment! It was the first time I had to play a swing pattern, so yeah I was filling it intensely.
    By the way the ride is a Sabian Artisan 22'', the crash is a Paiste 2002 19'' and the hi-hats are Zildjian Amir 14''.

    Félicitations pour l'interprétation de ce thème qui nécessite des connaissances étendues.
    Personnellement je serais heureux de pouvoir acheter un relevé s'il existe ?
    Cordialement,
    JLuc

    what are those cymbals and especially that lead ride ?
    Nicely done with the calypso, i personnally think you were a bit too much filling with the snare when the the swing ride pattern comes in but i ain't never fully satisfied so meh D:

    Is this the original recording or remix you made?? This is great! I'm wondering because I'm wanting to perform this for my final(I'm in a school of music) and was wondering if I could get the drum less recording from you. Please let me know! Thank you! Nice job!

      +Pablo Esteban Ranlett-López Thanks for the good comments! Unfortunately, I don't have a play along minus drum. It's only me playing over the original track with a blank left for the solo. Good luck for your final!

      Heyo! I believe John Riley's book "The Art of Bop Drumming" has a drumless track included with it. great book too.

    Very nice! I found the bass drum a bit too harsh though, I would like it more feathered instead of played normally.

    Nicely played, bro. I think Sonny Rollins would hire you. Yes, you should be aware of your bass drum. Try to learn the feathering technique if you can. Cheers

    Great performance!!.. In my opinion, the bass drum is too low tuned.
    Excellent video :)

    • @thedrumpercover9789
      @thedrumpercover9789  8 лет назад

      Thanks for your comments! The tuning was a difficult part, because I want it to blend with the original drum track.
