I know lots of people who are part of the LBGTQ+ community here, some of whom are activists, and one who has written five books about being part of that community here. I just want to say- thank you for this. I've been in anime fandoms for years, and have been made to feel like I'm "just a prude" by so many people because I think loli/shotacon are inexcusable. I stopped looking to date male anime fans altogether because I had several instances of dudes acting like I was their "real life loli" (both as a child and an adult) because I looked really young for my age. It destroyed my self image and esteem for years, and I'm only now getting the confidence to talk to men again. It's a horrible subculture full of horrible people.
