So cool! I make my vinegar from leftover cores and peels when I make applesauce. I go apple picking and make applesauce and apple pie filling for the whole year, and the scraps get turned into vinegar. Because it's just peels and cores in the jar, I usually just toss them into the compost once I've strained it.

I get too many free apples during the season too, sometimes when I have too much scrapes from making ACV, I compost them too.

Hi, great video! I was wondering if you used a dehydrator or the oven to make the leather strips. If you used the oven could you tell us how long and what temperature you used?!? Thank you for such an inspiring foray into the world of cultured foods ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I use my oven to dehydrate my fruit leather. I can set the temperature as low as 100 degrees. I’m so glad you find it inspiring!

İf you live in dry climate in summer just put your balcony or in winter you can put near to the radiator. I use these methods instead of oven. Its very common in Turkey. We call this"pestil"

They're just eaten as a snack. I know you didn't ask me, but since I think I know the answer you're looking for, I took the risk. Kids (and grownups) like the store-bought variety, so they are liable to like these, too.
