Now that I got a new one, I took the hard drive from my old laptop and connected it to my new one with an enclosure! But I can't get access to those encrypted files anymore! WOW, you were really lucky not to encrypt all your files. Your example is a good lesson. Maybe, it's better to have files password protected rather than encrypted or use a software to encrypt that can be used again in any computer to decrypt.

So your saying if someone sends me an encrypted file I can use this to unencrypt it even though it was not encrypted on my computer? Seems like that would not work for sending a secure file if anyone with windows 10 pro can do this. I think this Video is very misleading as this doesn't work so there is no point to the video because everyone who wants to encrypt a file needs to move that securely

hold down shift and right click on file and you will see the copy as path
