Another fantastic video! Your content has been incredibly helpful to me, and I'm sure to many others, in addressing various production and tech questions, issues, and concerns. I've been following your channel for several years now. Please keep up the excellent work!
This is so amazing! I'm thinking of adding streaming services as a product/service to my video production company. The Osee GoStream Duet seems to check all the boxes. This video is sooo helpful! Thank you for sharing
Will take some doing, because I do a lot of titles and such, and there's no built-in titles in the GoStreams, So I'd still need to leverage something external for countdown, lower thirds, social media overlays, and more.
I had my eye on this OSEE GoStream Duet device. It is a Switcher with many Television Studio type enhancements. Thanks for the through review. Surprised to see it reasonably priced at just under USD $ 400. Already have a BMD ATEM Mini Extreme ISO and 2 YoloBox devices (Pro & Ultra) but would still seruiusly consider buying this as a multi-purpose tool along with a monitoring switch for my operations. RL
Just bought one of these, already very impressed (I'm very familiar with Tricasters at work, but this is my personal wife-friendly budget). I'd like to see the clip name displayed somewhere when selecting a video to playback. (maybe an option to have a portion of the source filename as the window title rather than Aux?). Maybe a few tiny UI tweaks like holding down buttons to stop recording or streaming to prevent an accident. Double-tap pause to re-cue current source clip would be nice too.
Hello, Thanks for the video. It is a device that I find very interesting, but I have a couple of doubts that I do not know if someone can solve me. The first one is if it can be powered with a powerbank. The second is why you can not directly use a web overlay or URL overlay on the device. Like for example the UNO Overlays. Is there any limitation of this kind of devices? Thank you.
Yes on the powerbank, as long as it's 12v, 2A. As to URL web graphics, not as far as I know, right now. Maybe a future update down the road, but I'm just a reviewer so I have no idea what future plans for this might be.
@@StreamTeknology Thank you for your reply, I guess there must be some kind of limitation as the Atem Mini doesn't have the possibility to use web overlays either. However, YoloBox does have that possibility.
@@rubendieguez Yes it's the difference between a $300 physical video mixer, and a $1000 fully capable android computing tablet device, that can also switch video.
Very impressive video my brother. Really appreciate it. I do have a question that is very important to me that I hope you will answer if you have a moment. I am about to start my production of filming a CRAPS table for my channel. Currently I am only filming a single camera with no equipment. I can stream live directly into RUclips with NO 3rd party software. However I'm doing it as a webcam view. So here is my question can I record or stream live directly to RUclips just using this switcher gostream duet? In other words once I plug in everything and I am using let's say 3 different camera's can this switcher go live directly to RUclips without using a 3rd party software like obs. Is it basically using it's own software where you input your RUclips stream key to the software of the go stream? I'm hoping that i can just setup my cameras using the go stream and simply go live or simple record my footage grab my files and upload to RUclips as a recorded video or go live easy.
I would like to know if there is a version of the duet that support interlace and not just progressive? Please does the streaming support SRT protocol. Also does the Duet support other switcher control panels?
Good Question for you. I have this Osee GoStream Deck Dual. I have the OBSBOT Tail Air using it Wireless doing into the AUX input via NDI and it works well. GoStream Deck is limited to only 1 NDI source via AUX. OK, but I want to add two more Tail Air cameras total of 3 Wireless WiFi NDI to the network. So then after holding down the Play Button, I will see the 3 NDI sources on the NET. Question is... Can I build/record 3 different Macros on buttons ext. 1,2,3 each that the Macros is use to switch quickly & smoothly between the 3 cameras, in effect will seemingly give the GoStream Deck and effect 3 NDI source per say? Would this work, seting up 3 different Memory Macro buttons as a now 'Creative Switcher' to actively switch live between multiple NDI sources simulating a unlimited NDI source switcher? Using macros to break the limited barrier of the advertised ONE NDI source via the 1 AUX input. Can you check this out and see if it will work and let me know please so I can go ahead and order two more Tail Airs?? Thanks Friend.
I do not believe the GoStream supports WEBM or Alpha channels. There is a DSK function, but it looks limited to luma key from content inside the GoStream
@@RolandsZeltins You coudl to an overlay of one source over another and then utilize green or bluescreen, and then key the background out. I have seen this successfully done with Powerpoint animations.

@@StreamTeknology sorry for the confusion. In the review you said something like, "It says this input is a powered Mic Input, but it didn't power my mic."
