This is the final version of the fight. Took my longer than excepted but its finally done. Thank you guys for supporting me while making this. Hope you enjoy it.

I like how it stays true to the death ambiguity. Even if you kill him before he can leave the screen, he still had 1 life left, and while that doesn't tend to mean life in Mario games, there are some platformers where your life counter is extra lives and when it hits 0 that's your last try.

Easily the strongest AU version of sans. 3 lives, ability to both slow you down and deal damage overtime, double cherry, and the fact that he doesn’t rely on karmic retribution (a fact everyone seems to ignore when discussing sans strength) make Mario incredibly strong.

well, i you take into consideration AU Sans such as Ink and the other higher ups, including ones who control time itself, and basically Sans'es that are gods, this one seems pretty weak. I mean, Ink can summon any of the AUs so there ya go XD
PokeHunter29 well not exactly because there is ink, error and abyss so abyss can simply use the abyss chains ink can summon any sans and error can destroy marios timeline itself

Wait a minute. So you the player is a toad controlled by Fawful to destroy Mario and his friends to do his master plan to take over the world without them in his way? Better than literally every other skeleton with op powers. This is the better AU.

3. Link (He appeared as an easter egg in Mario Games & is in The Legend of Zelda Games)

5. Player (Agent 3, 4 , & 7 from Splatoon 1 & 2) (Mario was originally planned to appear in Splatoon, but it got scrapped.)

This is fascinating. It seems like a shitty fan game on the surface, probably made by some 15 year old, but when you actually play it, it has original music, it even changes music for every life AND death which is just stunning in the sense of, you never would expect it from a fan game, you wouldn’t think they’d go through the effort. It throws curveballs that you would never expect such as the lives, and the whole concept is just amazing entirely

I really like the idea of this AU. SO like, mario always stomps on bowsers minions, just because they were "in his way." so he got a lot of LV and makes sure you dont make the same sins. cool!
I honestly think that this is the best executed Undertale fanmade bossfight.

You know...I have seen it on other videos and it made me realize, I wish Luigi was sans, replace all sans lazyness with fear, make it where on a Genorun, Luigi wears an outfit that Mario made for him, the Mr. L outfit as a sign that he no longer has fears and that he wishes to be with his brother again. Because in most cases, Luigi is stronger then mario, Luigi has Lighting as a base power, and has access to all the power ups mario has. While I REALLY love this fight, I sometimes wonder.

i really like the use of the "revolutions" throughout the battle, it's clever how the older ones are in the beginning. now, i feel like determination mono is a little bit big, and the battle box as well. also, the font used for the names, health, and lv aren't determination mono, which i really don't like, but other than all that, this is really good.
edit: some of mario's voices cut out (final smash audio) but it's still good.

The game is awesome, but i just got an idea while watching this, if you or anyone else want to expand this game to where mario has 5 lives and the player has 7-8 items then i think phase 4 should have double cherry fire mario with phase 2 and phase 3 combined attacks. and phase 5 should have mario get a star and puts you through a gauntlet of attacks that 1 shot you with phase 1 difficulty, and to get past it you have to survive for 45 seconds. mario's star power runs out and you get the final shot on him. the reason i cant do this is because i have no game making experience. And this game is already awesome dont get me wrong, it was just an idea i had.
That sounds like potential for hard mode. If I ever come back to this for hard mode, then I might go for this.

What about a Final Smash Ball from Super Smash Bros combined with the Starman for an even more powerful Final Smash? Also, is it possible to have Mario fling Cappy across the buttons like in Super Mario Odyssey? You can even throw in the hammers from the RPG games (Paper Mario, Mario & Luigi, Legend of the Seven Stars). Thank you.

Since this entire game is just you fighting Mario, with many Easter Eggs hidden in it, as well as some lore it looks like he has the skill and patience to make an entire game like Toby did with Undertale.

@@SimoneGianpi I said it's easier than sans, not that it's an easy battle. Actually, I downloaded the game around 2 weeks after writing the first comment. I didn't beat it yet, but I got pretty far. I don't have much time, so I do around 2 or 3 trys a day at max. Otherwise, I probably would have beaten it already. And I think it's easier because the attacks are easy to memorise.
Lancer the sexy sans took me about an hour to beat my first time...this game has three phases, only gives you 4 items and most attacks if you make ANY mistake, it’s an instant death...in still stuck in phase 2 after 4 hours...
@@danielswartz6135 well thats true, but if you reach phase 3 and die the game saves and you can start in phase 3 and have all your items again. Phase 1 is not that hard, 2 is a bit harder but phase 3... that is the one phase that made me hate mario and rage quit. Sans took me longer, because the game doesn't save itself and if your stuck (like in the mario battle) it's an instnt death. + I didn't know back than that the pie heals you fully and used it up before sans.

Now, this is a great fangame, but I think I noticed something that I the only one to notice. (stop reading now and skip this comment if you have less then 5 Minutes, this is a long comment)
THE LIVES SYSTEM IS WRONG! now, if you don't understand me, then wait for a minute. In Mario games, lives(or 1-ups) are the playable character's way of being revived from death. at the beginning of most Mario games, you start out with 4 (or 3, depending on the game). However, from this point onwards, we MUST stop referring to these as "lives", and start referring to them as "1-ups". Why? For one reason: THE COUNTER REACHES 0! What does this mean? Well, let us look to these as "lives." At 0 lives, Mario should be dead. Think about it. at 0 lives, Mario has no life left in him. He should be dead. However, if we look at these as "1-ups", then Mario's life looks a little less grim. If Mario has no 1-ups left, then that doesn't mean that he can't live anymore. it just means that he can't be revived anymore. less grim then dying immediately, though. so, the lives system in-game is wrong. Still a great fangame, though.

In Super Mario 3D world, when you reach 0 lives, you have to die again to get an official game over.
I love the lore ya put into it and the care of the design there’s just one thing make his dialogue a bit more Italian it kinda bugs me like add an A every once and a while (I’m Italian so I’m immune to the race card here) without it he just feels like sans in Mario’s body.
The him that Mario mentions is Fawful, but I do have alternate concepts:
1. Sonic (Rivalry with SEGA) (Sonic the Hedgehog Games)
2. Prince Haru (Many see him as secretly evil after he stole Peach from Mario via wedding plans in the 1986 Super Mario Anime.)
3. Link (He appeared as an easter egg in Mario Games & is in The Legend of Zelda Games)
4. Kirby (Also an easter egg & is from the Kirby Games)
5. Player (Agent 3, 4 , & 7 from Splatoon 1 & 2) (Mario was originally planned to appear in Splatoon, but it got scrapped.)
6. Tabuu (Super Smash Bros Subspace Emissary)
7. Galeem (Super Smash Bros World of Light)
8. Dharkon (Super Smash Bros World of Light)
9. Ness (Before Super Mario dominated as an RPG spinoff, Earthbound was Nintendo's RPG.)
10. Captain Falcon (F Zero was Nintendo's racing game before Mario Kart)
11. Crash Bandicoot (Rivalry with Sony Computer Entertainment) (Crash Bandicoot Games)
Hope you consider those ideas in an update of this game.

they felt kinda slippery that is ironic since the ice ball make it better and bad at same time
also why when the heart goes in the platforms he not move with the platforms i know this fight is made to be hard but this make the fight more hard than it should be
