Haha, yeah it was a bit damp I think so didn't stay alight I'm afraid. I need to get one and dry it out properly to try that again. Thanks for watching and commenting, Andy
How do you get around the traditional laws of Scotland, being of course "cannae dae that here, pal" with regards to pretty much anything to do with self sustainment, but more specifically camping and lighting fires in the wilderness? Been a few times I was oot in the rain and/or on my bike and lit a wee fire (responsibly) to stave off hypothermia... some "do-gooder" strolling by mouthing off about better not let the police catch me and all that. Hope you never get bothered with such nonsense mate. Keep it up!
Yeah, that's one reason why I go well off-piste. The access code does allow for lighting fires though as long as you're not in a restricted area like a lot of the Trossachs National Park. Thanks for watching, Andy
@@waymarkerbushcraft Aye indeed mate. But we are talking about Scottish police here... they will find a reason to lift you even if you've broken no law. Glad you're not getting bothered with it, sir. Looking forward to the next video!
