You really notice and appreciate nature, and the peace and solitude of the wilds of Scotland, remarkable similarity to parts of my country (New Zealand) .... keep the vids coming, they're awesome

Tis a lovely route and our paths were so close to crossing... Merely meters in it. I Also stopped to natter with the 3 lads heading down to Marks.. and if I had known, i would have popped back down with my stove... Thank you for sharing.. Jim. 😎😎

Haha would’ve been much appreciated, cold food is never as nice. Think it’s more impressive we didn’t cross paths considering how similar the routes were

Clarity of imagery, blue skies, and lochs. Technical excellence, but brought alive with the personal observation of the water and mountain landscapes and wildlife around you, and, ahem, the odd incidents to give us a laugh😂.
I don't know if you realise but one of your signature items when camping is scrubbing your teeth in the morning. As a frequent occupant (and often painful) of dentists chairs, I wholeheartedly recommend the practice😅

That was a lovely video on what proved to be two fine winter days. The middle part of your route was across what was known as Argyll's Bowling Green and was marked as such on some older maps of the area. Not very flat, nor green for a game of bowls and the reason it was called that is a corruption of the Gaelic name Baile na Grèine meaning sunny hamlet or village. The whole area you walked in is the Ardgoil Peninsula and in days gone by, the Duke's Path was used by folk from the Lochgoilhead area, up past the Corran Lochan (where you camped), and down to the ferry across Loch Long at Mark (near the bothy you have stayed in). This was part of their route to the south - Glasgow in particular. You are correct in saying that it has a remote feel but yet is not very distant from places like Inveraray, Helensburgh, Dumbarton and Glasgow.

Thanks for taking us along with you on another hike 🌲🐑 it was such a beautiful place. Amazing when you have a place like that all to yourself. Too bad about the jet boil, though. A hot meal and cup of tea would have been so welcome in those temps. It's good to see you becoming comfortable enough to joke around and have fun while you record 😀 Stay safe out there.

A relaxing 17+ minutes, whilst eating my porridge 👍Another nice touch is 'crystal clear' clarity of the video - Would be interesting to learn what camera is used. Onwards and Upwards.

I just use an I phone to film. Shoot it all in 4k though, takes up so much space but worth it for the quality

Nice one. It's a kind of spiritual thing I suppose, being a bit closer than you usually are to the rest of nature, that finds no need of boots and tents and waterproofs!
