They made him weigh in 3 times in one week… actually 3 times in 24 hours. Not only that, but he cut down to 146, and then came to 155, once that was done, rehydrated to 161.5. He was undersized and he clearly wasn’t prepared for that type of matchup… ige is incredibly dangerous. I’m just happy Diego won, thank the lord

Diego was not correctly translated, was not Diegos's coaches the ones doing the plan, was Diego himself on his cell phone watching Ige's fights few hours prior to the fight.
He said his coaches watched Ige's fights for one hour so the translation was correct

He got real star power potential (he could become silva level ppv star if he wins the belt) and he is a huge guy for 145 but in this fight what saved him was Dan ige's bad fight IQ in the third round and the bad instruction he got from his corner.
Lopes was made tired at the end of round 3 and he was on the virge of breaking under dan ige's pressure and instead of keeping the pressure and the fight on the feet and walking down lopes he decided to go to the groundand which allowed lopez to take a breather and survive.
A 5 round fight could be very dangerous for lopes if he doesn't get the finished early, he needs to work on his cardio and efficiency.
He weighted for 145 and fought on 165. It's reasonable
All truth. Ige chose to win a round, while knowing he would lose the fight.
If Diego gets his cardio to a point when he can perform the way he did in the first two for 15 or 25 minutes, the featherweight division will have a SERIOUS problem

Diego Lopes chose to alternate between his mother languange (Portughese) and the Spanish spoken in the place that welcomed him (Mexico) a few years ago during his official engagements with the press.
