@JayDee-k8m you have a reading comprehension problem. The title of this video is most dominant champion in UFC. Demetrius has zero one round KO losses during his championship prime in UFC. However that not the case with GSP. That alone makes DJ a much more logical choice in category of ufc championship dominance . You bringing up what happened in other organizations is irrelevant
@JayDee-k8m you've reading comprehension is too big a problem for your argument. This isn't a MMA mount Rushmore debate. This is dominance as UFC champion. There's only one guy that can compete with DJ for that and it's Bones Jones. If a champion gets flattened by a journeyman in a UFC title defense he isn't in consideration over a champion who's never had such a setback.
DJ is the real p4p MMA GOAT. His resume is only discredited because his opponents were not popular. But they were almost all young, hungry, good grapplers, and MMA strikers. DJ had to deal with more well rounded skillsets than the other GOATs, and often size disadvantages. A good example would be Cejudo. Imagine if DC had a size advantage on Jones; that’s what DJ dealt with. I don’t care what anyone says, DJ is the real GOAT for me
@JayDee-k8m Nah, I’d have to disagree with that. -DJ has 14 title wins, not 12. -I would disagree with the competition assessment. DJ’s opponents being more athletic p4p and better at mixing the martial arts would account for dropping a round. -DJ won a 135lb belt in ONE vs a top tier American Top Team fighter in Adriano Moraes which would be comparable to a winning a 185lbs belt off a post prime Michael Bisping who barely scraped by a very old Dan Henderson. -When DJ fought Brad Pickett, it was his 4th professional fight & up his natural weight class weight -Saying the 125lb division was made for DJ is historically inaccurate. Ian McCall and Joseph Benavides were the two favorites to win the inaugural UFC 125lb tournament. DJ was the underdog. I think the reason you’re saying it was made for him is because you don’t have any context of the history & just know he became the dominant champion. -Former champions doesn’t mean much whenever you’re talking about the first champion of a division. It’s more accurate to talk about the actual opponents they faced. It’s like when Jones fans say Vitor Belfort was a former champion despite him winning the belt in like 2004 in a far worse era of the UFC. -GSP is the best MMA wrestler out of the GOATs, but DJ is the best clinch fighter out of the GOATs. They all have their best areas. And I would disagree it was a tougher division. -Wins and percentages are fine. But GSP only has one more win, but he does have less losses which is probably the best point I can agree with. So on planet earth I’d say DJ is greater than GSP. But I know many people who think GSP is greater, and that’s fine. I consider both to be greater than Jon Jones.

My respect for the editor.
yes, and the audio transitions are seamless
i have been a mma fan from the very first one with gracie. i have never really seen this man fight untill now and i will have to say he made my night he is one of the best maybe the best i have ever seen.
This guy is unbelievable! Best All-around fighter for sure!
Whats so impressive about Might Mouse, he was a great fighter at 135, if Cruz wasn't around then MM would've been champ. 125 was made for him and he impressively dominated that division for years
And not to mentioned dj wasn't doing mma full time at that time . And after that fight he took mma full time.
@@luci4463 literally, fighting for the world title as basically a side gig is GOAT SHT
Everyone can talk all they want bout lack of competition at his title reign but the dude didnt just dominate he freaking did shit that was absolutely unreal! He did shit that wasn't even in video games! Just toyed around and played with his opponents! Throwing a suplex into flying armbar! Pulling out a submission with 1 second to go after beating the complete shit out the guy! Tko'd Henry Cejudo with knees to the body! Then what he did in ONE was just as amazing! To be finished by Adriano Moraes then to get his revenge with that flying knee!
@luci4463 in his 3rd title defense vs Benavidez 2 he only made 30k to show 30k to win smh that's so freaking disrespectful!
@@UteroGaming when I thought no oe can make me gate ufc more . U just made me hate their guts v
I hope the management understands how good this is for the company
Too little too late....BJ s podcast is causing it.....all by himself.....didn t need UFC s blessing but hey he will take it
Dana about to change the thumbnail pick to Jon Jones
It's actually crazy how good and fast Demetrious is. I was a state champion wrestler and have trained with Wilson Reis, the guy choked me unconscious before I knew I was even in trouble and Johnson just manhandles him on the ground like he was a white belt.
That transmition to the armbar was next level sick. 👍
this is good timing, with the mma guru video. A great way to hype DJ before the hall of fame induction
Finally what he deserved all along, surely the best!
Thanks for doing this video, because it's hard to find DJ fights sometimes.
Been using youtube for 15+ years and this might be the first +1 hour video ive watched. MightyMouse is the undisputed goat.
DJ had his opponents totally outclassed. As far as skillset he had no weakness. And his stamina was crazy. He's like a created character with all the attributes on 95. Unbelievable talent.
The fact that they even brought up DJ shows you how UFC is growing!!!!
Dude they trying to do damage control after the ridicule they got over Dana's recent comments
Its weird man, people enjoyed DJ, his fights, everything but the UFC just didnt promote him/didnt know how. Hell he became even more popular as time went on even after he left, thanks to his YT channel and everything plus his accomplishments in ONE. Given more time, support and better more unique promotion by UFC, and the rise of social media he could have been bigger in UFC too. Either way he is now a known legend. DJ tha GOAT! 🐐
finally giving DJ some praise
a MUCH deserved video. DJ has done so much for the MMA community, such an inspiration.
but who at UFC lost their job though 🤣🕊?
Mighty Mouse is a legend! UFC should offer him a new contract eventho he doesnt want to. But money sometimes says more than words.
Give DJ a job in analysis, he is good talker
Thank y'all, UFC for finally giving this man some respect 🐭
The GOAT when considering CLEAN fighters and its not even close.

Islam and Volk are better, the fact that a dude coming off winning the ultimate fighter got a title shot even though he’s been cut from the ufc previously shows how trash DJ’s division was at the time.
The suplex and arm bar is insane every single time I see it.
Yes, yes he is. DJ for G.O.A.T..
Props to the UFC for making and posting this video(now that DJ has hung up the gloves).
And the ufc thought he had no fans 😂
they finally acknowledge one of the goats
