To be honest this style and subject are not my cup of tea. However, I am a self taught watercolorist and watching different techniques and skills is how I learn. I really appreciate how these come out and watching how you put the paint down. There is a fine line between masterpiece and mud. Lol. Thank you too for being honest about how much practice you put in. So many influencers whip out their paints and Viola masterpiece. It makes those of us still learning question our own abilities. I wish they would put out a vid or two on their fails. I learn so much from both. But I appreciate how gentle and Peaceful this one is. God bless you!

Wow thats an amazing piece. Such skill iin light and color… and it’s so alive! I wonder what kind of papier/sketchbook you use? My technique is a bit similar (although i’m much more beginner) I tend to work quick and wet, recognise your way of painting in how i would do it (as opposed to the watercolorists that work very precise and with a lot of patience ;)) Most watercolor papers/sketchbooks are not very happy with too much water, but this one you use looks to handle it quite well…

Lil Schmincke metal set. Looks like lemon yellow pulled? What gouache white is that? What colors did you add? +buff, ?gray, ?indigo? Greens? Trying to tweak same box. Helps to see how you used the small mixing area & sketching! I favor lil wc books too, but am rural. TY
