IMO when it comes to FNM all the gold is in the non-commercial songs, of which they have a lot. Mike Patton is a really diverse singer. He's considered, among singers in and around the genres, as well as some vocal coaches, as one of the best. He is instrument. That will make more sense if you check him out further. You can find his work on Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Fantômas, Tomahawk, Dead Cross, Peeping Tom, Lovage, Kaada/Patton, Hemophiliac, and Nevermen. From beautiful singing to disturbing noise. Insane range as well. He can do a lot.
BTW, if you haven't yet. Check out Dimash. He might be the best singer in the world currently. That man is on another level. I recommend Greshnaya strast (Sinful passion) by A'Studio to start with. He will blow your mind.

Love the Cover Day! Two of my favorite covers are Kate Bush taking on Elton John's - Rocket Man and Bonnie Raitt singing Del Shannon's - Runaway. You have done reactions to both originals as well.

I remember them playing this at a gig. I recognised the words but couldn’t quite place the song. Took about twenty seconds before the penny dropped. 😱

Been waiting waiting and waiting since you did the original to have this organically happen. 💥😁

When you revisit Faith No More, please consider Evidence, Ashes to Ashes, and From Out of Nowhere.
