- Hey here is some great alternatives to some of the best guns in the game, unfortunately you cant get some of the best weapons anymore or they are very hard to craft. 3:39 i think it's the Harsh Language with Destabilizing Rounds. It's a Wave Frame too and paired with Envious Assassin it's a fckn Ad Clear Monster, even in GMs. It's my Number 1 Pick in all activities for Ad Clear.

if you're looking for a legendary/FTP alternative to rufus i recomend the new old sterling from the world drop loot pool, it can roll with rewind rounds on the first column and you can go for hatchling, frenzy or demo in the second column and has field tested as its origin trait
I second this! Rewind rounds with frenzy on field tested Old sterling makes this stand gun a bullet machine! Also you can get a free red border a week from your war table, you can craft perpetualis and put many perk combinations like enhanced ambitious assassin/target lock which overflows mag sometimes to 130+ bullets
One more thing about Forbearance that saved me many times in GM's is its origin trait. its basically a healing grenade if you hit multiple enemies
Yes that's why I don't use ambitious assasin because it puts 2 in the mag when I need to reload for health so it's killed me on a few solo flawless dongeon runs now I use unrelenting

You can get Apex Predator from opening the secret raid chests without ever having done the Last Wish raid. However, ALL the legendary raid armor and weapons can drop so you need some luck to get what you want. 2 chests x 3 characters= 6 chances each week. Good luck
wait so im a solo player and cant complete any raids atm, does this mean I can just open the secret chests and get randomized loot from the raid loot pool? Does this include all drops or only certain drops?

In my opinion, "NO SURVIVORS" from Ghost of the Deep, is better than Callus. Demo/Incandescent roll scorch and generates granates energy, And with origing perk, there is no need to reload.
I second this. I feel like it’s slept on in PvP and PvE. Like it’s literally Immortal in the energy slot and I would say it’s right up there with Calus Mini and Bug out Bag.

Also if you need a chill clip rocket launcher Palmyra is probably the best bet. Bump in the Night doesn't drop anymore and cold Comfort is a drop from ghosts of the Deep. Palmyra B is worse than both of those options but it is a craft able world drop
i've gotta agree with bugout being on par with minitool, it feels fantastic
but i doesn’t have enhanced incandescent which makes it a little worse

Bug-out Bag also has gutshot straight, which buffs the damage from incandescent.
That or subsistence makes it more desirable that Mini-tool.
Clown cartridge frenzy is my crafted roll for the taipan and I have loved it. The frenzy damage buff is almost always up when I need it and clown cartridge has let me consistently empty my reserves with only one reload
To make any SMG absurdly stable, roll a barrel that reduces recoil, for a mag tac. mag or ricochet rounds for more stability thus increasing barrel's effectiveness further, and for the 1st perk either gut-shot, perpetual motion, subsistence, threat detector, or overflow as they impact the statistics or magazine of the weapon boosting it's effectiveness in combat. Avoid Focus Fury on an SMG that perk is essentially useless for any weapon with automatic fire except a full-auto scout or pulse maybe a side-arm too?
This season there is a new Arc Wave frame GL you can farm for called Undercurrent. The perks are promising on it and it has voltshot. It seems to be a promising alt to Forbearance as well, especially since you get the orgin trait that heals you on kills which is what you would be using it for. Another great Alt to the Rufus is the Old sterling strand Auto rifle which is a world drop, its completely RNG but you can target farm it now in lost sectors.
Another solid PvE Rocket Launcher IMO would be "Blowout" from the Crucible. You do have the 12 perks in Slots 3 and 4, but if you prestige your rank it can give you a chance to get more perks on the weapon (Prestige 3 can allow 3 separate perks to drop on the weapon).
In column 3 it can roll; Ambitious Assassin, Field Prep or Demo. And in 4 it can roll Chain Reaction, Clusters, Explosive Light or Frenzy.
It's stats are also VERY close to the base Hothead
The Camus mini tool can be obtained from the exotic mission Presage and is very obtainable I just got mine not too long ago
For Rufus Fury I would suggest Perpetualis which is still craftable at the helm
Mini is my favorite legendary hands down. I use it with my Stasis. And unrelenting and incandescent work with whisper of Rending. It’s dope

Destabilizing Rounds needs a buff that lets it pierce barrier shields because that entire function of Volatile Rounds is way underutilized
Harsh language is a great waveframe but void, and can roll with envious/destabilizing. Also, last wish hardest raid? I'd give that to garden or vow
I've been using the mida multi tool and mini tool lately and have been shmackin 😮
Funfact the Quicksilver can be kept as Both Strand and Kinetic by purchasing a 2nd from the Exotic kiosk and not activating it's upgrade to strand. That way you can use it when Kinetic damage is also available.
FYI you don’t need to buy from the Kiosk twice, just buy it once and then you can pull it from your collections whenever you want :)

i crafted my minitool also, but i decided to put threat detecter instead of unrelenting.

Calus mini tool deal less damage than other 900rpm smg by the way, because it’s a unique frame where it gives the user mov speed that can be enhanced further if you bring Mida Multi Tool with you, otherwise it would just be the equivalent of those Lightweight frame weapons but with less damage than normal. I wouldn’t recommend it now that we have so many more better alternatives, I mean you can still get it for it’s intrinsic To Excess perk which is a really good perk when compared to modern/current dogshlt perk where most of them just screams “have some friends bro, don’t play alone like an incel, or you won’t get any taste of these perks. Well sucks for you” since Bungie ignore the fact that 70% of the playerbase are solo players. They got it right during Seraph and Plunder, they’re really solo player friendly with the artifact mods too, nowadays they’re just straight up useless to literally 70% of us 😂😂

You can get the calus mini tool from banshee after getting the mida multi tool from exotic vendor
For Apex Predator i just did the last wish chests. I have never done a raid but i still have my god roll.
Ii've kept two hotheads! One is with impact casing, ensemble and explosive light Reload MW and the secnd one is with impact casing, field prep and vorpal and again Reload MW, wich one would you suggest to me to keep please mate??

I have done 2 resets in Iron banner and I haven't got the hero's burden yet in order to unlock the focused engrams. I have all of the IB items except that and I dont know why
Certainly would not call Funnelweb a must have, but I do agree with the suggestion of Heroes Burden.
I personally prefer the Season of the Haunted one that rolled with Repulsor Brace but Destabilising Rounds are not bad.

@@BearlyBearrr Unforgiven is unusable if you don't get one of, arguably, 2 god rolls available. The base reload is horrific.
Also, it's a dungeon weapon so more attainable than raid weapons but still a challenge for some, if they even own the key.

Iron Banner isn’t available this week. It was swapped to last week and actually won’t come back this season at all.
So proud that I grinded for 30 hours in 2 days to craft my mini tool. It’s lvl 394 with 25k kills on it right now.

for Quicksilver. I'm told the Non-strand version does more damage due to strand weapons doing less then normal kinetic weapons. I still need to test this myself though
Kinetics have a 10% pve damage buff. If you have ways to activate unraveling rounds it more than makes up for the lower damage

Surly if your looking for a replacement wave frame you choose a wave frame no?? All options are ok but there are way better replacements then them
most wave frames are the same apart from forbarence and explosive personality. personally i would just recommend getting forbarence if you can or if you don’t have wq get harsh language which banshee sells quite a lot
Pro tip, dont even worry about doing the whole last wish raid. All weapons drop from Kali, and you can 1 phase her/cheese her/do the challenge and get 2 drops in about 3 min runs on the week when last wish is featured. This raid is the only raid where you can get any weapon or armor from the secret chests without ever obtaining the weapons, and all weapons and armor drop from any encounter. I highly recommend farming Kali, and or grabbing secrect chests on each char each week. Both chests are easily gotten to solo. Use a shuro chi cp for second chest, or wish wall, and wish wall for 1st and learn how to get across the bridge. All of the weapons are worth the time.. dont be scared of the raid, just do kali. So easy...
6:26, or, you can learn how to Kali farm with Anarchy and solo farm the encounter or with 2 or 3 solos to get all the loot from the raid expect the exotic. Hell, the only arguably hard part about the raid is Vault and Queenswalk if you are uncoordinated. The hardest raid in the game is not LW, maybe Garden or Vow but not LW
Pretty sure the only way to get mini tool now is to get the mida multi tool for the first time from the kiosk, then banshee will have a free curated roll
Honestly, Bungie has such an easy fix to reincorporate the older craftable weapons back into the game. Just reintroduce it through Dares of Eternity. It’s already on a 4 week rotation. Place each armor and weapon set on their respective week, allow for increased weapon drops with potential red border drops. Simple fix lol.
There’s absolutely no reason why those old weapons are still dropping. 💀

Really good video. Only thing I’ll say is the raids that some of these weapons drop from are not hard at all. They’re stupid easy to farm weapon patterns.
While it may not be hard to farm the patterns. Finding a group of 6 people to run a raid is pretty difficult if you don’t have friends who play the game and LFG is soo hit and miss when it comes to raids.
is it farmable as a solo or duo (Im pretty average at the game)? also which raids are u talking about?
you can EASILY find a no mic lfg to farm kalli on last wish weeks for all last wish weapons.
That whole rocket launcher section is so hilarious, lol nobody was thinking about the apex predator and now it’s one of the top rockets!

I have reset my rank with Iron Banner twice this season and I still haven't gotten him to give a single Hero's Burden so I can start focusing it. I have gotten a few Funnelwebs, but they all have trash perks. Really wish more people made videos like this though, it's super helpful for relatively new people.
Also, for some of these recommendations (Hot head in particular), you can't buy them from vendors or the vault unless you've already gotten one at one point.
heros burden and wizened rebuke were removed from the loot pool last season so you have to legacy focus them for more cost. unless you got them before because bungie is lazy and doesnt have qa they didnt remove the 2 from the current focusing pool, just added them to legacy.
Hothead is available under legacy focusing with Zavala.

Its locked under the legacy gear section. You had to spend 5 engrams to unlock it to start focusing it.
In that case you can spend 5 engrams for the first time, check the legacy focusing tab iirc

Deafening whisper is the only other wave frame grenade launcher and it’s void. Xur can sell it.

did you forget about explosive personality ? or if it's just waveframe in general then there's the heavy waveframe dimensional hypotrochoid. or if you are talking about currently obtainable then there's the dungeon stasis waveframe. deafening whisper is not the only other waveframe gl.
Harsh language is also a void wave frame, but better than deaf whisper imo, it's like a void version of forbearance with the right roll

First focusing is 4 engrams since you don't have it but after that each one you focus is 2
...just farm kalli at any lfg, it's not that difficult to figure out 1 encounter. (Literally just stand where the balls aren't on every plate them come middle for damage and go in door)

Rank 6 is F2P limit. You don't need to purchase any content for Rank 6.
as f2p you can reach rank 6 but if you wanna reach rank 7 or higher you need to pay for lightfall and some other stuff like this years dungeon key

Last wish the hardest raid ever? Disagree. It has one of the hardest boss encounters 100% but everyone cheeses riven and everything else is a joke at the current point in time. The raid is crazy powercrept
