Fallout: London is an ambitious, trail-blazing DLC-sized mod for Fallout 4, Bethesda Game Studios’ 2015 post-apocalyptic RPG. the fact that they have to wait until the next-gen update drops tells me that their mod is heavily reliant on script extender. otherwise, if it was just like a mod like Point Lookout (that doesn't rely on F4SE) they could release it anyway. this presents a problem for some players who choose not to update their game. we are left with the tough decision of updating our game and breaking current load orders just to play FOLON or just never play it. the way they could get around this is to release two versions: one for before the update and one for after.
They better make a pre-update version!!!
Just release it how it is now!
If anything there will also be a downgrader made just like with Skyrim.

London might be better off in the fallout universe than in real life
The scope and ambition of this mod, I am fully prepared to wait for it for the team to be happy for its release. Looks incredible and best luck to the team.

I have no problem with London being delayed. So long as the delay is reasonable, of course. I have a fresh, unmodded install of Fallout 4 on my backup PC ready and waiting.
Hopefully they manage to iron out any issues and we see it in at least may !!

Could be that bethesda did this to scupper the london mod. Perhaps seeing as the mod is bigger then their mail game and far harbour their not too keen in it.
But since bethesda has worked on this for do long i doubt theres any malace here
I think malice on the part of Bugthesda would require a degree of intelligence that they simply do not possess.

I dont hate bethesda at all so i dont agree with that. I love most of their games.
