This is such a smart arrangement. I love the decision to keep the instrumentation small, and to pass the melody between different instruments. It really feels like this was the original intention of the 8-bit Game Boy game. Nintendo's music people are just the best, bar none.

Such an absolutey touching arrangement.... The toy like sound and theme... The music box clicking as the pieces grind and release. The overall design and feel of this arrangement... It's almost as if Nintendo knew how much this game represented a time LONG GONE.. for me... It's the time when I was just a child... The world was still so bright and wonderful.. and most of all, I still saw my mother's face everyday.. this game was one I played a BUNCH back then. But never seemed to finish. Not for a lack of trying but I loved this game so much that I would play through the first half or so of the game again and again.. the game was just precious to me. It was an absolute gem for that little boy I once was.. the 16 bit version will forever be ingrained in my memory.. but this one did so well that it too will never be forgotten.. Nintendo may never see this..... But truly... Thank you guys.... For all the memories and joy you have brought me... And all the hard times you've gotten me through with these magical games like this one... And this song does such a great job of painting the old old pictures that have faded from memory... How different the world is from those days.....
God...I liked this theme when I played Link’s Awakening a few years ago, but now I just love it. This sounds like a RUclips reorchestration, something that would never actually be in a real game, and I’m so happy it is.
When I was little, I had my Gameboy with Links Awakening, and at night when I was trying to sleep, I would boot it up and just listen to Mabe Village, it made me very happy. This brought tears to my eyes
While playing the game I find it overwhelmingly sad that Ocarina of Time took place took place thousands of years ago and BOTW will take hundreds of thousands of years after this game. The disillusionment of so much time passing.

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening is the game I feel the most nostalgic for everytime I play it and listening to this makes me shed many tears of nostalgia, it's... beautiful.
Long looong time ago, Link's Awakening was one of the first games I ever remember playing. I never got too far into it, only ever beating the first two dungeons before wanderlust took over and I got burnt out from exploring. 20 years later, I'm close to finally waking the Wind Fish.
Playing through the remake for the first time was just as magical as playing the original for the first time. Links awakening, pokemon leaf green and super mario deluxe were the three games my cousin gave to me when he gave me his gameboy. Still remember those days like it was yesterday.
I played this version of the game before the original and the second this comes on you can just tell it's gonna be great. it's one of those typical nostalgic Game Boy RPG starting town songs and I love it
The flute that comes in at 49 seconds just encapsulates the feeling of weightless childish adventure. Now close your eyes and imagine this is all Christmas music... It could very well be the score of home alone or something like that when his family returns at the end.

Took my wife home today after she had a long, exhausting day where others failures caused her stress. She looked like she was gonna cry. She went into bed, trying to rest but head was spinning. Then i played that song, while relaxing with her in bed and she fell asleep. Song brings you to another world and time.

This is LITRALLY the perfect theme for this game. Everything about it. You can hear the key-presses on the toy piano. It's just so good.
