The fact Link is fighting alongside Zelda just makes this final boss fight infinity times more badass. Boyfriend and girlfriend fighting the forces of evil.
One of my new favorite final boss fights in a Zelda game, the muck carried it, but just Zelda and link fighting together as well, the boss using all the past bosses, etc.

@@Jahof20s I guess so, the force of it going out would make the jewel shatter. But I guess pulling the sword into the jewel would make it shatter as well. Be that as it may, I don't think either is wrong, I suppose it depends on the perspective. I always considered they pulled it out, but it's been years since I played and seeing the cutscene recently didn't change the perspective I had, but now I'm starting to think they could've pulled it into the jewel. I just got reminded of that scene because of how Link and Zelda worked here, but I think whether it looks one way or the other depending on the person makes sense in both ways, because pulling into or pulling out of makes the jewel shatter, at least in my opinion 🤔
Seeing link as an AI fight with you makes me wish they'd make this coop. 2 Players choose to play out separate stories between Link an Zelda. Player 2 plays Zelda trying to save player 1, while player 1 tries escaping but gets captured which then leads to this fight.

So it means that everything that was created in the void by the Null goddesses was instantly consumed... thus the void that existed before the creation of the entire world and Null.
I hope this game gets a DLC where you unlock a "Link Mode" where you have to rush through the game playing as Link only and no Monsters to spawn, and him having the Somaria Rod from A Link to the Past to create Blocks for the Bridge Puzzles and so on This would be similar to the Castlevania Modes where you unlock the current Belmont to play through the Game instead of Alucard, Soma or anyone else.

Dude I love how this reminds me so much of Spirit Tracks expect the roles are reversed: - For the majority of the game, Link is sidelined and Zelda takes the starring role until Link comes back at the end. In Spirit Tracks, Zelds takes the secondary role since she is without her body for most of the game, but takes an active role at the end once she gets it back. - On that subject, both fought against an evil form of Zelda. In Spirit Tracks, Link fought against Madallus controlling Zelda's body to free it. In this game, Zelda fought against her evil echo to free Link. - During both final battles, Zelda and Link actively worked together to defeat the final bosses. And like with Spirit Tracks, the final moment involves a quick time event that puts down the main villain once and for all
In the game its canonically established that this version of link was kidnapped by the null as a kid and he lost his ability to speak so I believe at the end he starts talking and that's why everyone acts super surprised which is a wholesome lil moment

They've been doing the "let's introduce a new character, have the player character go on a long journey with them where they build a strong connection, and then delete them at the end of the game so we can do it again in the next game" thing consistently since the N64 era and they'll probably keep doing it forever lol.
It definitely plays after the Era of A Link to the Past, the Oracle Games and Link's Awakening. It has a Different Link, Different Zelda, a presumably resurected and possibly controlled Ganon... The only Question remaining is wether this plays before or after A Link between Worlds
I was initially thinking it might just be a complete different timeline, or just disconnected from the main 3 timelines, but then i remembered someone from nintendo said that some games are really just myths, so that's probably what this game is
My guess is after ALBW/TFH and before Zelda 1, that way we don't have to explain the ALttP world being bigger in EoW and smaller in ALBW if EoW took place before it (and ALBW not having gorons, sea zoras etc.)

In Japan, Demise is known as 終焉の者 (Shūen no Mono) aka Person of Demise. In France, Demise is called Avatar du Néant aka Avatar of the Void. Considering that Demise came from deep below through a rift in the ground, I think it's very likely that Demise is the Avatar of Null.

So the Goddesses created Hyrule to seal him away and allow creations to live and flourish. But Null, who was trapped in the center of the world, created rifts across Hyrule to destroy it. These rifts emerged from the ground. And we later learn that Null can create near perfect echoes of others, only they’re evil and serve him. The evil echoes want to steal the Triforce and give it to Null he can then destroy Hyrule completely and return the world back into the void.
No checkpoint in this boss fight. Shame Nintendo made wrong smoothies that not heal me. But in a 20 minute Boss fight without any checkpoint is game over Nintendo
This game looks so boring, you don't even move during the fights because the game is just about spawning AI allies fighting for you and you not doing jackshit.

The villain is generic, however the boss fight itself wasn’t.
So agressive are Link haha. He didnt gave a rest in any moment to the enemy. Alway he is Attack him.
