Or I will make mince meat out of you in criticism cause, hardcore BMW lovers like me hate it very much when designers change the grill design too much. Stick to being original, elegant and sexy. The M5 is dead to me after the E60 Wagon, tbh. Bigger than an E65, heavier than a Urus, two very poorly considered turbos, automatic, AWD, and now, Plug-In Hybrid Powertrain similar to the XM that'll make it sound like a choking four-cylinder. The only point of interest to me is that the Wagon is back.
Excited to see how this m5 will drive maybe i'll put an order in? But based off of the current g60 5 series its not looking too promising so i think the f90 will stay around for a bit longer :)
The title of the video says 830hp, is that an error? If not, then the car has plenty of power because it was speculated to have approx 730 hp… Still a tank in weight but if it is over 800 hp this will be extremely quick!!!
Many will say that it will be worse than the previous one, it will be heavy, it will be badly handled, but I think - this car will be worthy of the M5 nameplate 100%
I am a very big fan of BMW, but in fact, I see that the previous version of the M5 is much better in terms of design. I think that the new versions have a bad design and make BMW’s identity disappear. I think you should fire the new design engineer and you should restore your identity and develop engines like the V10 and V12.
Sorry y’all. F chassis was the last great car. I’ve had many M cars especially E and F chassis, and they are as heavy as I’m comfortable with. The new M2 weighs nearly 2 tons. M3 and M4 are hideous compared to the F8X cars and there seems to be no upside. DCT was the best transmission, now it’s a ZF8. Cars weigh 4-500lb more and nowhere near enough power to offset. Best car I ever owned was a C6 Z06. 3,100lb, 7L rocket and that’s the end of the best era of modern vehicles.
"Bratha what's that? Brathaaa!" Well the UGLY curse just caught M5. I can bet when G90 gets side to side with a F90: The ugliness of the new one will hit HARD.
Here are the BMW designers and engineers feverishly and tirelessly working on innovative ways to add hundreds, if not thousands of pounds of unnecessary weight to the M5 while also making it uglier than original sin as that has been their company's vision and scope now for years starting with the M3/M4.
