BUT, a damn good, damn fast driving car that looks good, is practical, and blows every sports SUV out of the water, while also being unique in a sea of forgettables... yes, that's a car worth drooling over. And there's something just sexy about a wagon.

I get that batteries weigh a lot but this thing is heavier than pickup trucks and SUVs. What is going on? Also this reminds me of 2008 when Nissan introduced the GT-R, the entire performance car world (particularly in the EU) collectively laughed at its kerb weight. Now every performance car weighs close to or above 2 tonnes. So Mizuno-san must be laughing at all the heavy cars coming out of Europe now.

I owned a 530D Touring for many years and I LOVED the fact that you could load the boot firstly with the suitcases and then thro the window for all of the smaller bags and stuff, SUPER feature and a great shame to lose that.
CANADA wants this and needs this. Our winters are sadistic, but fun as hell if in the correct vehicle. Driving the Audi RS6 from Kelowna to Revelstoke for a week of skiing was incredible for practicality and of course, performance. Finding fresh blankets of snow in vacant large parking lots is a fun goofball thing to do donuts in, but the actual highway drive and on b-roads was immaculate in handling. If BMW brought a competition to the only vehicle Canada has (AUDI RS6) in that class, then there would be some very happy new clients indeed.

100% the grille goes too high into the hood and the headlamps extend too far and high into the fenders which I understand is due to safety regs. Lower grille needs to be cleaned up. Angles should flare up not down

The font is a little disproportional imo. The headlight are a little small compared to the bumper.
Accept the weight or drive 4 Zyl. E-53 AMG 2.4T next RS6 has to be a hybrid as well, my guess 5 Zyl 2.4 T.

i loved the opening window in the tailgate on my E61 535xi.
Mercedes: No one is going to able to ruin a namesake as much as we do when we replace the V8 in the C63 with a 4 cylinder engine.

I use the split open window on my 3 series touring all the time. Of course owners use it, its very convenient.
Loved glass hatch tailgate they shouldn’t have got rid of it. Great for getting fresh air to dogs whilst they wait in boot and also for grabbing a few bits when backed up against a wall
