- This hardwire kit is ONLY if you have a 2014 truck with a build date before 08/14 . You can check by looking on the vin number sticker on the cab /driver side / under seat . If its built after , we offer a harness thats way easier to install .

Those after market mirrors come with no wiring instructions, I spent almost 12 hrs searching for how to wire them thanks to your video I was able to wire them up in less them 40 minutes wish this video was first recommendation, everyone else video is crap
What about the red wire that comes with the kit?
Just did this same install. Red is turn signal and works with it just being plugged together so no need to mess with red.
Does this allow the cargo lights to still work on the switche
If your truck was built before 08/14 it’ll be a reverse light

@@kanohkustoms how can I get the diagram ? My brother had already bought this kit since his truck was built before 8/14 but never used it . I’m assuming I need this same harness too? Mine was built on 1/14 I bought some mirrors off of Amazon that only come with one connector . And on this vidoe it shows you already have connected the second connector which I don’t have

Do the blinkers work or is it running lights only?
This wiring/video is for trucks that already came with turn signals in mirror from factory . We also sell a hybrid harness if you need the turn signals to work .
@@kanohkustomsdo you have a link for the hybrid harness? My truck did not come with factory turn signal mirrors and I just ordered a different set of aftermarket tow mirrors online wishing I had seen this video prior to that order! Any info is appreciated thank you!
@@kanohkustomsmy sierra is early 2014 and had power mirrors with turning arrow on glass as it is an slt model… the tow mirrors I purchased come with the factory connector and 3 additional wires (black and white, blue and all white) I’m disabled veteran on a fix income, I just want to know if buys the fuse taps which I did and the little red things you show on the video to connect the wires together would end in the mirrors functioning as they should with the reverse light and turning signal function?? Please advise and thank you for the video as I will be going back to it several times as I attempt the complete install tomorrow
