Yeah I agree. It handles better than the 6S, takes more punishment than the 6S, is easier and more affordable to work on and repair.. just to name the key factors. I own every Arrma SCT/Desert Truck and the 4S is hands down my favorite
Traxxas is running a promotion for a free charger and two Lipos with the purchase of a Maxx Slash, which they say is a $240 USD value. That is a HUGE promotion for a company that famously doesn't put their products on sale very often, especially considering the Maxx Slash is a recent release. It's a clear indication that even Traxxas knows they missed the mark.
Also, I wouldn't trust Traxxas's definition of a $240 "value" because they sell a set of 6 hex drivers for $130 So a $240 "value" for Traxxas is probably two 100 mAh 1s batteries and a couple of burritos. 3 day old burritos made with horse meat.
Wow...what an awesome truck! Makes me want one, really bad 😂 I have the Mojave 6s, but I feel like I need the 4s now 👍🤙😎 Awesome video. Thing sails pretty good 👍
Speaking of Hobby stores I have to give a shout out to Eliminator RC. I had placed an order on the internet on the long weekend when they were closed. On Tuesday afternoon I placed an order for some more parts I required. On my email I had already received the tracking number for the first order. I called them on the phone to see if it was possible to get the second order shipped before the end of the day to ensure the parts would get delivered before the weekend when we left on vacation. This was at about 3PM their time. She told me they would see if they could do it. Within 30 minutes I had a new tracking number and they had combined both orders into one shipment. Canada post was on the ball as well and I had the package by Thursday. I didn’t expect it until Friday as it usually takes three days to get here. I received my order is less than 45 hours two provinces away from when I talked to her.
You've nailed those backflips with a 180 landing lol, can say nothing just got a ramp and not as easy as it looks line it up, maybe use the spare wheel of your truck set behind the ramp. I.couldnt agree more arrma & corally clear leaders now ,traxxas always gonna have there fanboys but hopefully corally bring out something 1/5 1/6 too though asuga looks like a beast its next for me and love the paint job on yours when we going to see it on 8s?
Hey Jason 👋. What do you think about he M2c bash bar for a granite ? I’m wondering if it helps at all or makes more things break with the added stiffness . Seems like a lot of the upgrade parts aren’t really needed to me .
I think the servo saver is soft on purpose to minimize traction roll. Considering is a basher(not a racer), the consumer for these rarely care to develop input control. So imagine having to fetch more than half the run time. This, my best guess to why, haha. Now why haven’t they manufactured a stiffer servo saver as aftermarket?!! Beyond me. RC4us channel puts 3 drops of super glue on the outside of servo saver. Apparently it holds well and if high impact occurs, it’ll break glue bond instead of servo gears.
@@mangoito Nah, just poor design. My Kraton 4S takes turns like a cargo ship at sea. The smaller tire 3S/4S might do ok, but larger tires like the Kraton 4S or Outcast is a no go. My K4 is collecting dust.
@@i4nic256 Damn! I can deal with bus radius, but cargo ship?!😂. And here I am contemplating the K8s. Guess I’ll wait for better days. I love my Mojave 4S and do notice the shitty understeer on grass/concrete. I usually mitigate by punching the throttle and unsettling the car on every turn. It does the job. I see ur point on big tires.
I'm not trying to be mean about what I say here and I'm not trying to bash you but I understand that traxxas isn't perfect on everything they make but the same can go for all the other brands out there also. I don't like sending these kind of messages but it kinda bothers me when people, I don't want to say trash talk, but talk negatively about one brand when the others can have their own flaws too. I find that each brand has great quality rc's but also have some that aren't quite as good as I may want them to be. It's OK to critique things about them but another to talk down on them. For example: I personally like what I see about the maxx slash because it's extremely durable but on the other hand I do believe it could be improved. P.S. As far as this message is concerned, I will not respond to any haters because I didn't send this message in hate. Just trying to be positive about all rc brands.
Yeah , they’re all good and decent . Depends on what a person does with them imo . Some folks probably punch the throttle all the time from the rip and wonder why their gearing doesn’t hold . Others drive in dirt , sand or water a lot and wonder why their parts ware sloppy . Could be all kinds of things and more . Could be a bad batch or a bad driver or a combo . I’ve had some hbx RC s that aren’t expensive and hardly break at all while I have a k6s and the servo went right away . Good post
Traxxas bit of bullies but do make some nice RCs what arrma has done with performance with RTR parts is nothing short of amazing “ welcome to the future of RC “
I am an Arrma-Driver and my neighbour is a Traxxas-fanboy. He has a sledge and a Maxx Slash that he loves. However, Traxxas cant be that shitty because he always has that big smile on his face when he drives them❤
Love my Mojave 4s hands down best rc arrma made and price point, very durable truck and just fun to rip around and bash.

Yeah, Traxxas doesn't even understand the word "sale", they think it's part of a boat that goes on the mast. 😮

I'd put a sandbag under the ramp to keep in place
Great videos has normal fro you. Do you have a video you can point me to that explains how you get battery info and alarms in your transmitter?
No disrespect to the traxxas fan boys, but yes, I agree with you. I knew better not to get the maxx slash

I never broke granite chassis and it’s like 10 bucks 😂 the bash bar looks cool though
Traxxas are bullies that over charge but they do make some nice RCs 🎉
Jason… you didn’t get a sand bag to hold the jump yet?
I know your not into the mini's but I would like to see you get a mojave grom
It does look sweet. I don't own any Grom's atm. But the Blue one does look sick!

I don’t understand why Arrma doesn’t address the servo saver problem in the 3S-4S line. Does anybody have a way to get better steering out of these?
