Surviving a narcissist is a real thing and l am glad Melody is coming out of his spell. She no longer have to prove that she's not doing anything intentionally against him. She no longer have to prove that she was doing something wrong while as his a wife. Cooking food for her children while with him was definitely a narcissist spell. Anit no way😢. Martell isn't destitute and those children would have been okay. Those tricks and tactics was his number one weapon as a malignant narcissist. Narcissistic people love to bring up past mistakes in an effort to make you feel that guilt. The shame associated with it works for them. When you feel guilty and ashamed of yourself, you're less likely to hold them accountable for anything they've done wrong; thus why Melody gave him grace that was undeserving. I agree she didn’t have to mention it to Martel. However, let’s remember who we’re talking about…Martel. If Abel would have had her birthday party and not mentioned it to him, he very well could have shown up uninvited and caused a big scene because she didn’t invite him. With Martel you have to be upfront, open and honest about your intentions and where you stand with him. Because babbee he’s a whole mess and very unhinged. I pray he gets his mind right 🙏🏽

I agree with you about Nell, didn't have to tell Martell about the party. However, every time someone invite med or have Mel's attend an events he wasn't privy too, Martell get angry at his friends. Like he told Chris, he should have came to him first about asking Mel about the 48 acres, when the investor's only wanted to work with Mel. Even when Nell told him she was going to Mel's name change, he acted a fool, saying y'all are taking her side, she is trying to destroy me and y'all still her friend. Y'all not taking my side.
