That is what women are by nature! So you have value period! The should not be why a man should marry. You are not the one going after the man. The man is coming to you. It’s their nature! You have value regardless of who you are individually. Men only see your vagina is value or you being a wife(slave) a valuable. Men are deficient in nature! They have no value! So the question should be what value does a man have for him to be in your presence?

Platonic male/female relationships go left ALL THE TIME. Men accept platonic relationships with women who they desire, in hopes of one day getting lucky. Laterras is highly attracted to April's feminine energy. I thought he made that abundantly clear. You see his excited reaction when she puts it on. He thinks she's out of his league, but he also has questions about her that give him pause. Plus, she already made clear that she's looking for men in a certain $ bracket. Another thing that gives him pause. He'd have a relationship with her but after peeling back the layers and discovering who she is, he would not marry her either.

If the women is in her right mind no drama she will naturally submit because it’s in us to do it but only for the right man. Submissiveness means you fell safe to let down your guard. I'm writing this comment before watching the video, but passed off these responses. The "I'll submit when I find a masculine man" part. A woman should be feminine from the start. A man can't say ill be a masculine man when I find a feminine woman. That shxt ain't something you can turn on and off. No one can turn it on and off. Yes, to Laterras' question at the 17-minute mark, repeated sexual abuse/violation/rape is 100% spiritual. It can even be attached to a bloodline and be passed on from parents to children when it's not dealt with. Get a deliverance minister or teacher to sit on that couch.

When a child experience trauma without the means to resolve it, they end up magnetizing similar experiences . For some children, they don’t talk about it but it remains active in their vibration. Some children manage to talk about it but if the talking about it does not help them to process, it becomes an identity. That too will magnetize similar experiences .
Normalizing conversations that give permission to truth will help children especially to separate experiences from who they are. ❤️.

“Why isn’t she married?” is a valid question because it’s less about validating her advice (which I believe is good) but it actually speaks to how scarce the dating scene is for black women. You can be a great woman and do all the things, and be willing and ready for marriage yet still not be chosen by these men. And I see THIS EVERYDAY!

Exactly! Not to mention all the spiritual warfare some women have to go through before they are even ready for marriage, fighting all kinds of generational curses in their bloodlines that they did not know about for years. This is not a one-size-fits-all thing. It’s very different for everyone.
By the way, I think this ongoing debate about femininity is so bogus. There is very little that some people can do to change the essence of who they are… femininity means different things to different people. For instance, some cultures would not consider this woman, April, to be feminine. There are also some men who prefer less feminine women. Be who you are, within reason, and you will attract the right people into your life, at the right time. This “faking it till you make it” approach to getting married will only get you so far. You may get married, but will you be able to maintain that fake persona to stay married?

If you really think about it God has prepared each of us for marriage. Before we enter into marriage, we have relationships with our parents, siblings, friends, etc. These relationships should be honored and respected. If you can’t sacrifice your time in these relationships and be obedient to your parents first, then marriage will be difficult. You can’t enter into a marriage with a selfish heart.

    Laterras,
April is on point!! In our foundational and formative years (0-6), when a person experiences trauma, especially sexual trauma, you lose your autonomy and you are groomed to believe that you don't have the rights to disagree with the people who they are entrusted to. This is how children who experience sexual violations at such young ages become a recidivist of the abuse. Essentially, in the spiritual Realm it is like you're wearing a neon sign on your forehead saying, " I won't put up a fight. " or " I don't know I'm worthy of better." Or "I don't have the right to say NO!" Through this abuse and other forms of abuse, children are taught that the maladaptive Behavior is normal and acceptable, especially when it's coming from trusted family or friends of the family.
I'm so very proud of April! I have yet to meet a woman who like myself experience and endured that many years at sexual abuse and sexual assault. It was 13 years for me, but like April, I dedicated my adult life to therapy, braking the generational curses, and relearning who I am as a woman; my self worth, that I deserve better, and I have the right to say "NO". People do not get passes in my life to abuse or mistreat me regardless of associations or relations! Kudos April, to being a curse-breaker in your lineage ‼️💖🙌🏽💖
Thank you, brother for always be an amazing vessel for Abba to use for healing and deliverance 🙏🏽💖🙏🏽

Thank you Ms. April! If you want something different, you have to become something different! I have been living in masculine energy soooo long it seemed impossible for me to ever walk in femininity. On my healing journey I've realized it's my time. I love this Podcast!.

She said "i chose him based on who i was"!👏🏽👏🏽 Love the personal responsibility!! Most women blame their horrible choices in men, on the man instead of looking themselves in the mirror. Women choose badly! That sums up 75% of the game, period! If women learned how and what to choose, and were humble enough to try it, more of them would win in relationships!

@@tatianadaniel3569 Usually on the crazy women they choose. But they will acknowledge they chose them! We will also acknowledge why we chose bad! Women on the other hand choose horrible guys then say all men are trash, instead of saying "all i choose is trash". You wanted that thug, so you got eerthing came wit em. 😄

Great interview/conversation! Thank you Laterras for these amazing conversations with amazing insightful people. I have been divorced for many years; most divorced people I talk to say “I’ll never get married again”. I’ve never said that, because I respect & love marriage so much I’m looking forward to meeting & locking eyes with my future husband, the man I will share life with. Because of your podcast I’m intentional about being the best person I can be now so when we’re married we will be the best we can be together. Don’t listen to the people who say you’re not intentional about a relationship because of your platform!! I can hear in your voice & see in your eyes…you’re ready for marriage & to draw a red line through “future” wife! Honestly your podcast is for singles & couples❤ I pray you & your wife find each other 🙏🏿🙏🏿

first time hearing of this woman and I am infatuated. The knowledge and gems she is dropping reassures me in the way I choose to carry myself, especially after heartbreak. Looking forward to just being a great woman(whatever that entails for me) and love.

I absolutely loved this episode ❤ She is the mature version of where I desire to be. Especially with us sharing very similar childhood traumas. Now, God has healed me and is continuing to peel back layers to protect and humble me but there’s always work to do. Thank you Ms April ❤ I will be buying your book

This was great! Lots of good gems sprinkled in.
You are correct. People always get mad with me when I say I’m a woman, I’m a mother, don’t tell me happy father’s day.
