I have a question I was cheated on and it didn’t work out her cheated on me I gave my all it still hurts about 4 or 5 years later I don’t know how to get over it now it’s like I looking for love but I’m scared it won’t feel the same I feel like I won’t love again and I strongly want to it’s so scary being alone everyone tell me to love myself but I don’t know how to do that I don’t let people in because I’m insecure I have trust issues I get overwhelmed and depressed it’s like a roller coaster and I get angry with people for no reason it a bad feeling and I need to fit it
@@Mimi89_7 I am in the same predicament. Only my son was set up by his girl and killed and the guy I was dating dumped me when I needed him the most. So I have been alone for 5 years and I don’t trust people. The only advice I can give is try counseling. I’ve gone and it helps but you have to find a therapist who connects with you. It’s a safe space to vent and they give pretty sound advice. I’m just not ready to date now. I’m still grieving, so the situation is different. But I am heartbroken. But know you can’t love someone right until you heal. No one needs to know if you go to counseling. And remember everyone isn’t going to hurt you. There are good people out here. Wishing you the very best! 🫶🏽

Whitney is a breath of fresh air. I loved when she said "we don't have hard workers in singleness." Many of us get caught up in our desire to be married that we forget about what we should and could be doing in the meantime. Marriage shouldn't be an idol, it should be a blessing that is added unto us (like Laterras said).

I was 29 yrs old when I got married. I was a virgin and unashamed. I made that decision and the HOLY SPIRIT kept me. So all the glory goes to GOD, none of me.
Legit depression was coming over me today and after seeing this...my whole spirit was lifted up....I think even though this was not planned, it really helped me alot...God also has a sense of humor. Thanks guys for allowing this to go on. She was saying something so important there too about how God doesn't disappoint us but our lives doesn't always show that. I’ve been single for 14 years. I’ve talked to men but it’s hard. I became a widow at 26 and trying to date and meet new people is scary and difficult especially when you have a relationship with Christ. Where I’m from Christians are a minority and finding a person equally yoked is exhausting at time. I’m still open to love
