    Thank you for video. I watched another youtube video and she mixed the mica powder with a little mod pog and used that as a binder works really well. But she used it to put in a spray bottle but think it would work other ways.

    I saw a video where someone had on black nail polish, then put on versamark and then brushed these on and put a clear nail polish top coat over it. Very pretty!

    Nancy, I use a cheap can of hair spray, like final net or rain. I learned this years ago.

    Gum Arabic is the best for mica powder.....becomes a paint and when dry will not rub off....

    Put some drops of mod podge into the mixture. When it dries it will seal the mica.

    any thick glue that dissolves in water will hold it to the paper you have to mix the two together.

    So interesting and inspiring. I've had the Arteza 35 color set for over a year and haven't really experimented with them. Oh my goodness...I know how I'm spending my weekend! Thank you for the video where you experiment.

    What about using hair spray from a pump bottle in lieu of water for the spray and the waterpen - then you have a media that sets it too. ??

    Hello Nancy I just subscribed. I have some Perfect Pearl's but I have sprayed water but it doesn't work for me plus some cardstock bobled up or it gets water spot when sprayed. I use 80lb 100lb cardstock so I can't understand why. I just bought a big bottle of mica white Crystal from Arteza so I'm glad you're doing this video. I'll try it with embossing power. Thank you

    Could you apply the distress glaze to your stamp instead of versamark or perfect medium.

    • @NancyStamps
      @NancyStamps  Год назад

      Distress glaze is like a sealing wax. It's not the same medium.

    ok.. i know i am way late to this but could you use Embossing Sticky Powder to make the color stick and have the embossed look ? I thought there was a embossing medium that would let you stamp heat and re heat to set the color ? Just a thought ?

    • @NancyStamps
      @NancyStamps  2 года назад

      You cam mix it with clear embossing powder. The sticky embossing powder is not smooth. Leaves a bumpy residue. It's better for adhering foils.
