    Lovely song. Very beautiful march. Joplin was a ingenious composer. Do not be afraid, but you’ll never compose Joplin better. His music is immortal. It is unfortunate that Joplin did not receive in his lifetime what he was worthy. Scott Joplin will forever remain king of ragtime.

      Joplin uses very interesting and inventive harmonies - using the 6th step in major in combination with a major chord gives both major and minor sounds at the same time. Joplin is great.
