This piece is one of Lamb's best, for sure. I still don't think the playback from the digital score does the harmonies justice though. I've learned snippets of this one so maybe I'll complete it someday and upload my interpretation.
Much appreciated. I have been working on several, more advanced and more polished rags, and I've come a long way as a composer in the past year, so you can expect some completed originals to be up soon. As for Chimes of Dixie - I had no plans to upload that one, but I don't see any reason not to. It's a nice little light march that gets overshadowed by Lamb's denser works and isn't anywhere on youtube. In the meantime you can find the score and playback here on musescore: musescore.com/codebreaker/chimes-of-dixie-1960
I have long awaited a version of this song on RUclips; this does put a smile on my face.

Thank you so much for posting this gem. And good and plenty! I'm still waiting for dixie chimes? Thanks again! Love your original piece!

Nice upload! Too bad this video didn't popped up in my search results when I searched on the title. Did you use video tags?
Played back at 1.25 speed is closer to proper ragtime tempo.
