Cardiophobia is fear of some kind of problem with heart. Your mind is misleading you, Your mind decides what can cause you health problem and what is safe for you. When you were a kid, did you fear going into dark. Did you play as a kid. Did you notice playing/running causes heart to beat faster, but you were not concerned about cardiac problem. Just think that you have a cardiophobia and your heart will beat faster. BP may go up. Just tell yourself I have a imaginary heart problem and you will feel better.

Im suffering from cardiophobia after nearly fainting once or twice and have occasional PVCs especially after my mothers death by heart attack in July last year. She was 64. I have self diagnosed myself with various conditions, such as paroxysmal 1st or 2nd degree heart block, NSVT, heart pause or asystole with escape beat, couplet PVCs, bigeminny or trigeminy and even prinzmetal angina. I have done echo, ecg and stress test 2 times in 2023 and all reports were clear but I still feel really panicky every-time my heart skips a bit. Sometimes multiple beats. I agree half knowledge is dangerous.

My dad 89 year old had heart attack and had 3 stents in rca . They also found additional 80 to 90 percent (30 to 40 mm) long calcified blockage in his mid portion of LAD. He is asymptomatic and on medication therapy. Should he get stent or just stay on medical therapy.

My dad 89 year old had heart attack and had 3 stents in rca . They also found additional 80 to 90 percent (30 to 40 mm) long calcified blockage in his mid portion of LAD. He is asymptomatic and on medication therapy. Should he get stent or just stay on medical therapy.

Dr sahab mera ldl 149 aaya hai.....mene ECG TMT ECHO krwaya normal aaya hai.......mujhe CT angiography karwani chahiye ya nahi ?
