Little late to this party but this is great news for us low K ranger owners (px1 70k). Whats the approx cost for this? just ball park like 20k or so? and just to eat more in to the question budget, does a new gen motor run any better?

Just wondering why you swap the egr around? So why you have to change the egr?? Can you run the 2020 egr or you have to change it because of.the bypass valve??
@@paulmendes3329 No. Did you swap the engine wiring harness, ?? that could be an issue. you need to check everything when swapping a engine out these days. check all the colors are the same.

Hey mate you’re a wizard with rangers haha, I’ve got a 3.2 px1 seems that it’s over fueling in 4 & 5, swapped those injectors, white smoke on revs when not fully warm then black burned fuel when warm, any ideas? cheers heaps
I have done exactly same job on my 2015 ranger, however the 2020 3.2 engine failed within a 2 weeks!!!,, do you think this got to do with the work done by dealer or engine was not in a good condition, as I bought from scrap yard Thnx
Hey Phil, would you happen to know anyone in Perth that can do the same job? My brothers 2014 engine seized & we have got a donor 2020 vehicle with a good engine to swap.
I deleted my egr and power was better. Would recommend deleting as they only push dirty air in to manifold, I used blank off plates and bi pass the egr cooler all together,,, look on line for a erg shut off lead. It's not illegal but transport authorities don't like it

Hey mate blew a turbo and replaced it now cylinder 1 has no compression . Would that be a full top end rebuild ? Or is it fixable somehow
take it to someone who can diagnose it for you.

I also just replaced the glow plugs
should replace ALL injectors. And low compression, do a compression or relative compression test.
Can I drop a 2.5wlt into a 2009 ford ranger 2.5tdci?
