I worked for MickyD'S, from 1985 til 2007. Experienced all this come and go. The Arch was nothing more than a glorified MCDLT. Do you remember that? Keep the cold side cold, and the hot side hot? It used to come in the Styrofoam pack? It was discontinued early in the 90's, so I believe this came in as a way to replace it. I'm in Texas and later on, we ended up getting the Texas Homestyle burger, to kinda offset that yearn for a bigger burger with lettuce and tomatoes. Because until we got the Mcdlt, we didn't have burgers with lettuce and tomatoes. It was, hamburger, cheeseburger, double cheeseburger, big mac and qpc. That was it until the McdLT crashed the scene as a full fledged loaded burger! That circular bacon also, was raw in the late 80's and early 90's, then mcdys decideded to precook them puppy's and send it to us, prepackaged ! Ah, the good ol' days! 😅
The Mc DLT was the best. The quarter pounder deluxe is close... but... back in the day they used real meat and veggies. Just saying... BTW ... you got a big shout out today from Daym Drops today. He did a burger king breakfast burger mash up and definitely gave you all his props to you for the idea.
Oh man that takes me back! I worked there then! You could use the potato roll that’s used for the chicken sandwiches. I wish they would bring this back!
Yeah i loved it too. Also the Mc DLT, think it was called. They kept it in box with buns seperate, to keep lettuce n tomoto from getting soggy. Wish they bring both back. Great video.😊
I loved this back when it was real. All my friends were getting plain double quarter pounders and eating like teenagers (which they were), but I had more adult taste back then. Now that they're using fresh meat (supposedly) for the quarter pounders, it would probably be even better.
McDonalds launched a hockey menu here. I am surprised they didnt have the return of the Hockey Hero Burger from many moons ago. The hockey menu is more or less just glorified food prodcuts of what they already serve. Arch Deluxe used to be one of my favourites.
The Arch Deluxe Was A Tasty Burger! Everything Was Great, But The Ketchup Wasn't Necessary When You Have The Dijonnaise & Tomato. Fantastic Idea For A Video! 🤘
I’m a big fan but….i don’t get it. Why review a burger that doesn’t exist? Back in the day….i use to like Lum’s beer hot dogs, but they went out of business decades ago.
@LEOretired um.leo. great question. Put simple. Because you can. Lol I loved this burger from back then so I wanted to try and recreate it. Based on the comments. People enjoyed it. The videos don't always have to be new items. 11 years making videos, over 3000 videos. Sometimes it's fun to mix it up. And on that day. I mixed it up.
I never actualy loved mcdonalds. I feel like its compeltely over rated and idk why anyone even eats this garbage lol. I may get hate for my comment but their burgers are actually terrible. You people have horrible taste lol
Your Arch Deluxe recreation looks like a real winner. McDonald's should bring this back.

i loved the McDLT
I always thought that the Arch was the best sandwich McDonald’s had. Glad you brought it back. Wish McDonald’s would.
I haven’t eaten McD’s in like 3 years, however, if they brought back the Big N Tasty. I may have to relent.
That was the best McD burger ever
Don’t forget about the McRib.
@@jamesboswell760 never had it
They definitely need to bring this back
Arch deluxe had a peppercorn aoli on it. I loved it back back then.
I’m pretty sure there was a Dijon mayonnaise but the bacon was peppered bacon.
I would've definitely preferred a peppercorn aoli. I don't eat mustard.
The old McD's commercial did say mustard. And it was available with or without the bacon.
Oh I'm sorry.
The Arch Deluxe was the best burger that McDonald's ever produced
💯
And cheddarmelt
You misspelled McRib.
@@KenKaniff-dw4jw I've never heard of the cheddarmelt I'll have to do some research
Agreed
The Arch Deluxe and the McDLT that had the burger on one side of the package, and the other ingredients on the other side 😎👍🏻 Excellent stuff 😊

Anything with a McDonalds base using a qtr pounder with cheese is gonna be fire.
It would be cool if they did a 30th anniversary release of the Arch Deluxe.
It’s being tested.
I remember going through drive thru one late night and was blown away how good the Crispy Chicken McWrap was lol
Mashup 👑. Has the necklace, just needs the crown.
Oh man that takes me back! I worked there then! You could use the potato roll that’s used for the chicken sandwiches. I wish they would bring this back!
Great job Sir, love the nostalgia.
I loved this burger back in the day.
SPLIT TOP POTATO BUN! The McCrispy has that. Should have got it switched!
I think imma have to recreate this badboy ASAP. 😎😎😎
I’m sure it’ll cost a pretty penny, but it’s gonna be so worth it.
Happy New Year! 🎉
The Angus snack wrap was still the greatest product McDonalds ever made, they need to bring that back.
Great video. Looked delicious. Never tried the Arch Deluxe, I'd buy it now. 😋 with some hot crispy salted fries! Yum

Not supposedly
I'm really hungry right now. Dang that looks good.

I’d totally agree. Probably my top burger from McDonald’s. Replicating the sauce had to be tough.
Bring back the McDLT 🙏
Arch manning delux please
HAHAHA! Love it!
@theendorsement should name it that would sell so good
Sounds good. The bad thing is, it's not the same quarter
So how much did it cost to re-create that?
$2.89 + The cost of the mustard he bought.
Just because he used reward points for a free QPC
But a Quarter Pounder at my mcdonalds is almost $6.00
He used points so not a lot
Mc *DLT*
Dat year -
▪︎ when MLB resumed afta their strike
▪︎ MJ - returned fwom retirement
I think it’s a double from what I’ve seen of it so far
Daily Double burger is another standby that's better than it should be.
bro got a free quarter pounder... damn all I can get is a cheeseburger or McChicken
the burger was good, the advertising went too far.
that is why they didn't make their money back
legally, i don't think you can do this. it's not allowed.
Arch deluxe, big n tasty, both were solid. Is be happy with a QPR deluxe. Of course you can basically make it on your own. 🤷♂️
Different patties BK then too. All fast food change there meat. The mc Jordan burger had the bacon circle piece n BBQ sauce it was so good 👍
The sauce was a peppercorn sauce😊
Coke Zero > Coca Cola
McDLT was the best but this was good too
Would like you to construct and review the McGangbang
Mad science👍
Tasty 😋
I was out at Dijon.
Pickled jalapenos

I will be trying thiis for dinner 🤗 🍔 🍟 🥤
Genius
Don't cover about the McJordan 😮
I’d eat it no problem love it

Gross looks like the worst burger ever man. Why you so over hyped for mcdonalds ? This has to be a joke lol
Adult Dijon sauce seems suspicion 👀😂
