Got my new Seiko’s stainless “Field Sports Style” SSK023 band adjusted today. Looked great after lunch, as I put 100 full metal jacket rounds down range. Now need to find my KBar to throw into my Filson canvas briefcase

I think your engineering background is what makes your presentation of watches and watchmaking head and shoulders above everyone else. You not only know what a particular watch will do but why it does it. Your style comes across as trustworthy without any hint of guile. Keep up the good work.

Bet you are all making the same comment! It's gorgeous. (and annoying I know). I really like the 'independant' channel. Great work.
I tried on the bog standard version of Bulova's Moon Watch before Christmas. It's genuinely a very handsome watch but, even with my 8 1/2 inch wrist, I found it basically unwearable because the lugs stick straight out. This makes it wear much larger than it is and, sadly, it didn't look good on me as a result. I think you'd really need absolutely massive wrists to pull it off.
I got a Special Edition Seiko Willard re-edition Save the Ocean Glacier version. Rrp £1250 bagged it for £750 interest free. Getting more wrist time than any other at the mo.

To me affordable means like 150 and under, not 2,750 francs (over 3k US) I get that everyone’s idea of “affordable” is different, but more than the average mortgage payment for a watch is a bit silly to say it’s affordable in this economy 😂

I’ve tried on the Blancpain swatch watch and own 3 omega moonswatches, let me tell you, the Omegas are better. I literally went to buy the Blancpain and after seeing it in person I declined.
A big mixed bag here! Some amazing; Tudor, Baltic, Marlin, and some not so amazing; MAD (too expensive for a Chinese made AliExpress watch), Casio Collab (too expensive, as worse than standard), Swatch (just boloxs). Many thanks for the content.
