@smithshotracing i am hoping for a very wide range of tools more into just home things. Tire inflator would be nice. They finally came out with nailers. A plunge router would be nice, planer, jointer. Right now their tools are just barely breaking into these simple markets of mechanic, wood working and the likes.
@@ThriftLife Yea Lowes has done a horrible job with it outside of the short periods of clearance prices.. Amazon is coming on strong as a seller of Flex.
The new large/small drawer box is radass - along with that cutting board. I personally use FLEX for my overland gear storage. Better made than ROAM or Overland Vehicle Systems or even Pelican boxes. The stacking makes it! If Makita’s new upcoming system comes out in their Outdoor Adventure OD color, I will buy it all for overlanding.
@BigInjun05 so far I have the 21 degree framing an 18 gauge, I will try to get the rest soon to have the collection I also have 3 full stack pack boxes
@LARULES100 100% use them every day. Early adopters of the platform like myself will tell you about the batter black goo leakage but they fixed that with the new equipment. No complaints and its lifetime warranty if you are buying as a home owner and 5 years as a business. Just sign in and register.
Finally bottom drawers with big wheels! It looks like Flex & Toughbuilt have the best mobile tool systems with Milwaukee starting to catch up. I got the Toughbuilt XXL rolling tool bag (it's actually a bag/box hybrid) and so far it's excellent. This looks bada** too.
Yo Vince! How ya dern? Personally, I stack the organizer in the middle with the tool box on top because of it's carrying handle. That way, whenever I need access to the rolling box, I just undo the locking latches on the bottom box and I lift the upper boxes off altogether because they are still locked into one another. Hope that helps and enjoy! 😁👍
Speaking of radios is there any plans for dewalt to try and make a better designed tough system one? I know they discontinued the last one because so many people had issues with it
Hey it’s JakeofAll …lol! Well it is cheaper than Milwaukee’s still not yet available PackOut rolling drawer box. I could see myself moving over to the Flex system depending on what the reviews say!
Waiting for the rolling unit to get on the buy more save more or at least be in the Black Friday Sales on ACME tools. I don't see it on Ohio Powertools yet. Great video!!! Flex is innovating!!! Thanks Vince
I like the packout but I'm still waiting on rigid to come out with a box drawer single , something about being be able to put any box on the bottom with rigids system I love
I hope flex sticks around and lowes doesnt kill them through apathy, i love their clever design choices on all their tools and they more than any company seem to hear their customers needs and desires and make changes yearly to accomodate. Now if only they had a good m12 competitor, id be 100 percent team black and grey.
Great vid Vince. I wonder if your cat counts as an irregular sized item. 😂 That pizza looked delicious. How about a cordless food warmer box. Something to heat up our lunches. 😋
I still like the way Ridged 2.0 drawers are completely removable from the dolly. I can move only the boxes I want for the task and the work with the 1.0 system.
One thing I don't like about the stack pack is the handle that pulls up and down on the wheel cart is it's to short. Klein and Toughbuilt handles are a little longer which is good for me. What would be a good idea is if all these companies can sell longer handles would be awesome!
I have a ton of Dewalt tough system 2.0 boxes because the packout stuff was too expensive. Always hated the box on the bottomof the Dewalt. So i got the Ridgid cart and 2 drawer and 3 drawer boxes. So much easier. THEN HD had that Milwaukee glitch the other day. Now i have 2 Packout 22" tool boxes, 2 drawers, dolly and 38" box. Once that Packout rolling drawer box comes out, I'm probably going to get that once it goes on buy more save more. Not paying retail for anything. Can't see getting into a 4th system but i said i would never get into a 2nd one and then a 3rd one. 😂
I went from ToughSystem 1.0 to 2.0 to 2.0 again(stolen first time) and then when Lowe’s had the StackPack on sale, I got into their boxes. Now my primary tools are almost all in Flex boxes and the less used stuff is in Dewalt boxes until I eventually change it all over to Flex. Not having a good way to mount a level holder on the ToughSystem is the main thing that made me decide to switch away from it.
This box is very similar in design to the hikoki. I took a snap shot when the cat came and had a gander. (Investigation) And sent to my family as my brother likes cats.
You have not done a review of the new Klein mod box rolling drawer and they also have a lot of accessories which solve various issues. The only thing with Klein is that they don't have a battery ecosystem so no type of radio or lights like with other leading brands.
I think the $299 price tag for the radio is overpriced, but it is nice. Sub $200 would be a much better price range, in my opinion. I was able to get two of the Craftsman radios on clearance for less than $35, and I love them.
PACKOUT has one incoming early 2025 correct? Should have been released a loooong time ago or at least Q4 2024 for Xmas season. Let’s hope they make one with wheels and one without for guys that have a shop.
Pretty disappointing that this drawer doesn’t have a gasket on it. What’s the point of putting a gasket on all the other boxes if you have to take your drawers out of the stack and store them somewhere else? I’ve got my dewalt tough system stack with 1 drawer box sitting outside right for a few days while the trailer is full and the garage is a mess but my Flex StackPack has to go in the garage cuz the damn drawers don’t have a gasket. And I live close to the beach so the ocean mist over night definitely makes me want to keep my tools stored safely so they don’t start getting any ugly rust on them, considering I primarily work indoors in finished spaces.
I’ll probably just add a gasket but I agree that’s pretty lame since it’s $199. I want them to release a dolly like dewalt did so you can put the cabinet on the bottom and wheel it more easily. I just got the framing nailer and 15 g angled and the framing nailer barely fits in the regular bottom box so I’m thinking about he cabinet with either a 3d printed holder or foam will be a better solution.
@ they could definitely make a hand truck like tbe Dewalt TS Carrier using the mount already on the back of the box. Or you could even make your own… got me thinking 🤔
I use a bag for my rolling box. I roll to the job site, sometimes close, sometimes far, then I can grab the items I need and pack that thing full and bring the items inside or upstairs or whatever. I pretty much always keep my drill and impact and a couple bit cases in there.
@christophercrawford2736 to me that defeats the purpose of the rolling box's your still running back to truck if you forget something. I unstack and take the rolling box in then the top 2 boxes second trip 😂 but I know I'm not running back cause I forgot something. I still use my bags for drywall guns +cutout tool or my router with the bit set, Just cause I still need more box's. I feel like I'll never need a tool trailer with these rolling box's
@@MatthewMcelroy-bm5my I used to bring my rolling box inside but I found myself constantly meeting cardboard moving boxes at the door or needing to go upstairs or being limited on space in the installation area so sometimes I roll it in and sometimes I leave it at the door.
