Have been wanting to see a decent quality print of this serial for quite a while...many thanks for uploading!👍 Would also enjoy seeing the following in good quality prints someday if they can ever be obtained: Mysterious Doctor Satan, Dick Tracy Versus Crime Inc., and The Crimson Ghost.
@@AtomicAgePictures Thanks for that info about Dick Tracy. Hoping that one of these days Criterion or some other company with a large-enough budget can acquire the surviving elements of these serials (the best regarded serials, anyway) and put out completely remastered and restored versions, kinda like what was done a few years back with Daredevils Of The Red Circle. Until then, I definitely appreciate what you (and a couple other RUclips channel operators) have done & are continuing to do. 👍👍
I've been anxiously awaiting this week's serial. Imagine my surprise when I realize it had posted 6 hours earlier and RUclips just chose not to let me know. I'm a subscriber, all the other AtomicAge material shows on my Subs page, just not this one. Gotta Love RUclips.😡 Oh well, at least I can enjoy one of my favorite serials.
Love these old cliffhangers and i use to watch them when i was a kid.
Legend! This is a public domain gem honestly.
Imagine, Rambo is the Spider!
The Spider is more like the Shadow than the Shadow was
Ive got some of the Spider books in reprint. Its great to see one of the serials.
The Spider is bulletproof but everyone else has more holes in them than a sieve.
Thank you!
Most welcome
A terrific serial, usually judged to be the best from Columbia Pictures, though I think The Secret Code might be even better.
I also think Secret Code is their best, but this one is pretty good.
Thank you!! 🔥💯
I enjoyed that thx but them criminals must be the worse shooters ever 😂😂
the quintessential pulp hero
Oh no! Help! I'm being sucked into another movie serial!
Better load up on Hot Pockets and Gatorade.
Thanks!
They are addictive!
You got a real problem pal. Hot Pockets and Gatorade!?! Everyone knows it's all about Pop Tarts and Diet Coke!
Ah the classic fight between spider and octopus 🐙🐙 loved this serial ❤❤❤❤

@@AtomicAgePictures Wow, thanks for letting me know you'd ALREADY uploaded two of the above listed titles! Very much appreciated! 🙂👍
@@anthonykimball7463 my pleasure. As for Dick Tracy vs Crime Inc, it appears that it is still covered under copyright, unfortunately.

I always get notifications from Facebook about 6 hours after they actually happen
Read s lot of these stories.from the pulp era
Which came first the Spider or the Spiderman?
Spider-man first appeared in August of 1969, so I'm gonna say the Spider.
@@AtomicAgePicturesAugust 1962, you mean. The Spider's first appearance (in his own pulp magazine) was in 1933.
@@Fontdalprofundo yes indeed.
The Spider seems less like his namesake and more like Batman
@@tomalexander4327 Batman first appeared in Detective Comics #27, released March 30, 1939. The release date for The Spider's Web was October 10, 1938.
Too dark.
It was the best print available.
