I remember in 1988 , getting stuck overnight in Aberdeen, Wa . I stayed at the Nordic Inn, and saw a weird sounding band called “ Nirvana “ playing on the Monday night I was there. I checked out homes for sale and they were running 12-30k at that time. It’s funny how Centralia has higher grocery prices….there is a massive Kroger grocery warehouse in town …..
Mount Vernon? Are you kidding me? Driven our roads lately? Run into our homeless or tried to shop in Safeway at night? Everyone is moving into Skagit County and Whatcom county. There is no housing, I run into people almost daily who cannot find a place to rent or buy. It is going crazy I don’t know where you’re getting your stats but they’re not accurate.
Yeah Mount Vernon/ Skagit used to be a nice place to live before all these people moved here. They made house prices jump so high they're pretty much equivalent to Everett. They brought all the congestion & problems of big cities too like stated above. I've lived here almost 40 years and now I can't afford to buy a home.
I'm a Navy transplant to the Bremerton area, I got stationed here in 1980 and bought my three story three bedroom house in '88 for $44,900, Zillow zestimate is now $425k just to give you an idea how the real-estate prices have changed during this time frame. I'm glad Not to be living on the eastside of the Sound, I'm much happier on the peninsula, I Dread crossing the Narrows to partake in the $hitShow in that part of this Once wonderful state. If you are moving here due to the politics being Screwed up where you are, leave them there, the Kommiefornians have F'd this state up Enough!!
I bet you cruised Bremerton on a Friday or Saturday night. I did, from 81 till around 87…….Kitsap was so wonderful back then, the traffic is not much better than Seattle/ Tacoma now. I would have enjoyed it even more if I had known how far downhill it and everything else would sink. Thanks for your service
Your photos of Mount Vernon (except the tulips) are of Mount Vernon VIRGINIA. And the buildings are of president George Washington’s ( first American president …) home/estate!!!
My family is west of the Cascades so I've been thinking Belfair/Bremerton to get away from the Seattle/Bellevue high costs. That said I'm really attracted to Wenatchee and Yakima but those might be a bit too far from friends and family.
I hear that. We definitely enjoy the pace of life and weather in Central Washington. If you are really close to your family on the west side it might not be the best idea for you. I do know a lot of people that take the train from Wentachee to the west side so they don't have to do the drive.
Watch. Bremerton. Going going gone. Battle group flat top. Good foe edc my wife used to be an economic specialist for kitsap. Bremerton being towards the end of 2024 grab while the getting is good because it is limited you have to go to the outside the greater county for homes condos anything beautiful in between Silverdale Poulsbo also dollar Ching. Ching. It’s all good

I'm confused. Spokane Valley was listed, but then you started talking about Spokane and showing video of Spokane. Spokane and Spokane Valley are two separate cities.
Thanks for tuning in, here is a link to personally connect with me about Real Estate : calendar.app.google/Lx9pxcsn6Pi7fEPD8

In addition to the Safeway area, across the street where tractor supply and the $ store are is even worse. It's bad even during the day!
It was 107 degrees in Moses Lake yesterday. Try living in that!
I hear you, I'm over these high temps too. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@jonnybalz that is because Mr Tremendous pulled out of the Paris climate accord
I grew up and live in Washington currently. All towns with huge poverty and drug problems.
Cheaping housing usually means less demand because of the area. Thanks for watching.

It's amazing how different Bremerton is form Seattle when they are so close. I'm a big fan of the Peninsula too! Thanks for commenting!

@@MetalTeamster I like Sequim too. I'm really surprised it wasn't on the list.

There are low price homes in Grays Harbor County (Aberdeen) but the problem is most of those low price homes are not in very good condition.
Yes, I would agree and in flood zones. Thanks for watching and the comment.

Mt. Vernon? Aberdeen? Even Yakima? I’d just sooner off myself and not worry about expenses altogether. LOL @ Spokane.
Yea, Cheap housing usually mean the area has some issues. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Anything in the Puget Sound area is going to be expensive and surrounded by decay.

What about George?
What a good call out! I think George is going to really start growing too! Thanks for watching and the comment.
Since pretty much all of Washington is the hood how can any of it be expensive?
lol, Love the sense of humor!
Think you think it’s Washington DC?? PNW is beautiful . I have home facing ocean and go crabbing & salmon fishing. Paradise.
She calls $400,000 houses very affordable???
I know its ridiculous, but that is under Washington's average home price. Thanks for watching.
Does she know it's mediaN and not mediuM? Does she know it's a realtor and not realAtor?
Thanks for watching and the comments. I have noted this to the editors.
