      he said he put 800 down for 190 per month .
      look it up
      www.harley-davidson.com/content/h-d/en_US/home.html
      it will show you the payment method as well. just go to web site,
      scroll down to desired bike,
      click on it ,
      then move cursor to '' estimate payment ''
      it will show you the bike , scroll down and you will see different things that you can '' finance '' , and then type in how much you want to put down.
      scroll up and it will show you how much a month. . . . depending on if you got riding gear from them as well.
      plus a few other
      add-ons if you want.
      just remember sales tax is not included with the total price, it will be a little different.
      probably a smidgen higher.
      but it is fun to see how it works tho.
      and ride the snot out of it !
      xD

    Definitely reccommend doing oil changes and brakes yourself! Save massive amounts of money. If you're mechanical at all, dive in and do it! Plenty of videos and write ups if you need help.

    • @Yamahog
      @Yamahog 3 года назад +1

      Yes, totally agree here. Have done all of my oil and filter and chain changes over the years. It keeps you in touch with the bike more-so than when the dealer does it. My current ride is belt driven, a huge bonus if you think about the time it takes to change out the chain and do link breaking etc to get it to the length you need.

    I got two Harley’s and in Europe they are way more expensive.
    My 883 costs 13,500 dollars in Portugal. A full tank of gas is 16,50 dollars. Why the difference ? Taxes !! Much higher in Europe. On the good side, essentially free health care in return for higher tax payout.

    • @jak3legacy
      @jak3legacy 5 лет назад +1

      Lol the free healthcare is probably a decent trade if it's quality healthcare

    • @PileofBrass
      @PileofBrass 3 года назад +1

      I know this post is two years old but, I don't think paying half my wages in taxes is getting "free" health care. I'd rather pay for my health care as I need it, rather than being billed for it whether I need it or not. I can then spend my savings on other things I want. Get out of the nanny state mindset, people. Quit being a government indoctrinated lemming.

    • @ozgekim010
      @ozgekim010 3 года назад

      Naaaa it's not free anymore bs. I'm from the Netherlands, costs grow every year and next to paying every month to the insurance company, next to nothing is included in the basic package, so dental costs, psychiatry, meds whatever, one has to pay for as well.
      On a lighter note, love the video & the comments. Thanks!

    You didn’t mention what you paid “out the door” (amount financed)... you only mentioned monthly payments. At 10% down @ $800 It appears you paid $8k out the door? Also, Sportster does not have hydraulic lifters... requires manual adjustment... not a fun process. The bigger motors have hydraulic lifters and are virtually maintenance free.

      it is not that bad actually .
      they make about 4g for their work and selling it.
      possibly a good becon score could help with the financing. [ either them financing, or your bank ]
      so afterwards the total would be around 13g that is not including maintenance [ tires, oil change, possibly drive
      belt ( if it snaps [ not likely , but is good to put that in there] ) , bulbs , later on possibly adding on some
      modifications [ with H-D stuff ] .
      \

      Must have been a previous years model? I can’t find one at a dealer near me for less than 9K (before haggling obviously), but that doesn’t even include the fees and taxes.

      Andrew Coffey good point and I agree with you Andrew ...just got mine for $9600.00 out the door price no money down. My payments are 173$ a month that’s based on a 2.9% interest rate for 60 months.

    I can't believe the people who can't change their own fuckin oil? Are you kidding me? $300-$400 to change the oil? Really? Car oil changes don't cost half of that. Someone needs to go back to school I figure. It's bad enough you over pay for the bike when you buy it, but then you give them $400 more after only 1000 miles is highway robbery in my book. You can have that crap.
