- The Purpose of Braille Skateboarding is to grow the number of people who skateboard by teaching, motivating, and inspiring. We do this by making skateboard tutorial videos covering every how to skateboard video under the sun moon and stars. By learning ourselves and showing that no matter how old or young you can learn to skate. Part of this is also providing a suggested path to take in learning to skate. Then we inspire NEW people to learn to skate by making videos outside the very small world of skateboarding. We turn an ipad into a skateboard, skate on a big screen TV, and even a door. We focus not only on the creativity here but building the board and then all the way through to seeing what tricks can be done on it. Skaters have always been a creative bunch of people they take the normal ideas of society and change it to create their own world. Most people see a set of stairs we see a kick flip going down them. Our goal here is to take people that may never have thought of skateboarding before and get them on a board.

Got kick flips today 🙌🏽I started skating again I graduated high school last year and I quit like 5 years ago got a board about a week ago and I'm picking things up a lot faster thanks to Braille, John and Garrett

Do you still skate? I just started again and it’s crazy how fast I’ve improved. I just can’t hardflio regular it’s the main reason I started again I need to be able to do them one day
I learned varial heels before the fs 180 heel and i feel they are similar as well. Not consistent yet but fakie fs heels are very easy considering i skate fakie a lot. This video definitely helps with my pop and rotation with the trick. THANK YOU JOHN HILL

love Braille skate and I can't really skate. I havent stepped foot on a board since i was in third grade and I was decent and at least riding. I tried again today and I couldn't even stand up and go forward with out falling. Ive been watching these videos religiously to get my groove back

the way I learned this trick was doing exactly what I do with my feet for a varial heel and then turning my body front side.I tried doing this trick like an actual fs180 with a heel flip and it just didn't work it wouldn't flip all the way. however with fakie front heels I do it like an actual fakie 180 with a heelflip and it works.
Something about fakie that makes every trick easier. I learned most of my tricks fakie before my normal stance, nollie then switch.

Good video overall. The only thing I would caution against is scooping because if you scoop while turning your shoulders you're more likely to do a Big Heel. Basically if you turn your shoulders 90 and continue turning them as you pop a Heelflip you'll get a Frontside Heel. It's all in the shoulders as he pointed out.

Trick Tip 2. Try em Fakie. Its a bit easier. Plus you get the timing.
