@@IanTerronesReads10 is where they belong at the most. At least right now, until love turn those interceptions into tuddys. Vikes and eagles beat the pack fair and square, and the eagles have only gotten better. I just think there was a little too much bias towards the packers for this list.
The “Geno Smith situation” is that the Seahawks have a top 10 QB with some of the worst protection in the league. I don’t get why some Seahawks fans only seem to remember Geno’s interceptions and not his beautiful throws or his game-saving drives.
Its so weird seeing Tom's rankings be so biased. He's typically not one to let homerism infect his rankings, but putting the Packers #3 and then this week #7 above two teams they lost to?
@jasonjanisewski78 yea but those teams lose to other teams that the team ahead of them beat. If you look at games both teams played it is still strange. Like the Packers got killed by the Lions and the Vikings played them within 3 points. Or the Texans, who the Packers beat by 2, and the Vikings beat by 27. The Vikings did lose to the Rams, but the Packers nearly lost to them without their wide receivers. By basically any metric, the Packers are a worse team. DVOA, EPA per play, record, vs each other, vs common opponents.
@greengandalf9116 Projection also plays a part. It looks like Flores schemes are starting to be figured out, just how they did last year when they got torched in the 2nd Half of the year. Darnold regression is also looking like it may be a thing. I suspect most fans would rather play MIN than GB. MIN has the better resume so far, but GB has the higher ceiling
@@jasonjanisewski78 I mean if we're projecting, many of the Packers wins are against terrible teams like the Titans, the Colts, and the Jaguars. The Vikings on the other hand have played the toughest NFCN schedule so far. If the Vikings played like the Packers did vs the Lions I could see your point. However, it was the Packers who were completely and utterly dominated in every phase of the game. Not the Vikings. If one of these teams is due for regression, I know which one my money is on.
@@jasonjanisewski78 This is a Power rankings list for the current week. Not for the next half of the season. Vikings may start to fall in the coming weeks just like any other team, but you can't let that affect the lists.

7:30 The Titans defense is elite. Unfortunately their special teams and offense is horrific. More short fields handed over than any other team. That game vs the lions basically summarized the titan’s season. 4 sacks, 200 yards allowed by the defense but 4 turnovers almost all in their own redzone and almost broke the nfl record for most special teams yards allowed in one game
Well perna would 100% would to mess with tom he did it last year😂😂 and toms seeming to let his packer bias place his team higher than they deserve. EVERYONE agrees if the chiefs go 17-0,being mid mahomes does not deserve mvp.
As a bills fan, having the bengals over the steelers is wild. Yeah they did good against the ravens but it's an afc north division game.... of course it'll be close.
The Lions and Chiefs have really separated themselves from the rest, clearly, but even then...many of the Chiefs wins have been pretty ugly and their defense really is what saves them. So honestly...the Lions really are like in a world of their own right now. They are just playing amazing in every single way, and can beat you in whatever way they need to. There's multiple players setting actual NFL records, not just team records, even though the amount of team records being set is massive. They are just a total, all-around team....that actually plays and operates on a daily basis like a TEAM, and family. They are the definition of what a team should be, from top to bottom. Someone that has witnessed many different teams on the sidelines during games, said that the Lions sideline, from coaches to players, is truly unlike anything they have ever seen before. They are operating like no other team, in many ways. Their main problem of course though is that when it comes playoff time, it only takes one or two mistakes for the season and their chance at the Super Bowl to be over.....the bright side is that they are finally a team that truly doesn't "choke", and are so unfazed by things, and they actually do the extra that's needed to finish the job this year unlike before, however....it doesn't mean that it can't happen....
Playing bad and yet still undefeated. That should actually be scary to the NFL because they cant really get much worse but can get a lot better (tons of injured players coming back over the next few months) and have every season as the games start to matter more.
@@IanTerronesReadsSteelers have played more complete games. They just aren't fun. But they're effective with their game plan. The Packers unfortunately haven't put everything together yet. They keep trying to play a QB who isn't fully healthy, even if he is our best chance to win.
