no, IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO MISS. So what does that tell you? It tells me the refs were in the tank for the Ravens at home, thanks to Las Vegas and gambling for this
the personal foul (hands to the face) wasn't called because it wasn't intentional where he had hands to the face AND also grabbed the face mask. it wasn't egregious. it was a situation where he took a swipe at the ball and the momentum of his hand when he missed, hit the outside grill of Burrow's helmet. It's like a pass rusher coming for the QB, once the ball is released he can't stop the impact from his momentum. All he can try to do is try to minimize it by not coming down with all his weight on the QB. That's the difference, in my opinion. The defender minimized the contact of his hands to the face infraction by NOT grabbing the face mask. Just like a helmet to helmet call...sometimes it's called cause its avoidable. while other times it not, maybe because the ball carrier turned his head into the defender at the last moment.
There's been at least 4 weeks so far this season where bad refereeing has led the Bengals to come up short. Week 1: Referees said Tanner Hudson fumbled the ball before crossing the goal line. Had the touchdown counted, the Bengals would have won 17 to 16. Days later, the NFL admitted that instant replay proved Hudson crossed the goal line before the ball came loose. Sorry, we screwed up. Week 2: Bengals called for pass interference, but refs fail to call KC 52 & 55 defensive holding during the same play. A offensive holding call would have negated the pass interference call. Result: Pass Interference call assisted in the chiefs winning the game. Week 3: During a 2 pt conversion, Commanders #11 arrived early, thus bringing down Tee Higgins before the ball arrived. Everybody said it was defensive pass interference, but refs wouldn't throw flag. The 2 pt conversion would have made the score 35 to 38, meaning during their final drive, they could have gone for field goal to tie the game. Facing a 5 pt deficit, they were forced to drive for touchdown and failed to get it. Game ends 33 to 38 Commanders. Week 10: During the Bengal 2 point conversion with 1 minute on the clock, the Ravens commit pass interference & roughing the passer penalties... neither is called. Result: Ravens take a knee and win 35 to 34. Had the referees done their job, the Bengals could conceivably be 8 -2 instead of 4 - 6.
5 of the bengals 6 losses came against arguably the #4 best teams in the NFL in the Chiefs and Ravens. Yeah the loss to the Patriots sucks but the Bengals have had one of the most difficult schedules in the entire league. I'm not counting them out yet, I just hope they don't loose confidence inthemselves
The Bengals are 0-5 versus winning teams this year. The Ravens have one of the worst defenses in the entire NFL, yet Lamar Jackson still finds a way to win. Whereas Burrow cannot overcome a bad defense. What hurts Burrow is that he is small and fragile, so he always gets sacked and injured. Whereas Lamar Jackson, and Jalen, can take a hit and still roll out and throw a pass. Joe Burrow needs to start hitting the weights in the off-season, to try and build up some muscle, so that he is not so fragile.
@@clintdiaz5604i love how now it’s lamar can overcome it but it wasn’t too long ago that y’all was losing games cause your defense was blowing 4th quarter but yes lamar is now the superhero to fit your agenda

You really don't think that Lamar, with Henry in the backfield, and 2 timeouts, couldn't at the very least get into FG range for Tucker, if not score themselves? That said, Tucker is not a sure thing anymore and its a worse feeling seeing him decline than it was to see us lose the AFCCG last season.
So whats your point? We were gonna lose anyway? Either lose by 2 points or by 3 points? I still think taking the XP and hoping for a stop and overtime was the best option.
Lamar is not dependent on any one player to score points. If the O line blocks a little bit, and if anyone on the offense shows up, this version of Lamar will put up at least 28 points.if they don’t, it’s because everyone was playing poorly.
Exactly! That's the difference with lamar and every other QB in the league. Go check who lamar was throwing to in his 2019 mvp season. Jamarr chase couldn't bail out burrows every play
Lamar has a better o line… Joe burrow got pressured 40 times and still threw for 400 yards. Neither qb was an issue. It’s blatantly obvious it’s a defense problem on both sides, but mf’s just hate on Joe for literally no reason.
If you can honestly sit there & think they (your team) lost this game because of the refs, then you're just delusional. Ravens- 11 penalties for 81 yards. Bungles had ONLY 3 penalties for 23 yards. Try again, buddy. Get sweeped. Go Ravens! 💜🖤🐦⬛🏈
The bengals defense being so good in the first half and then giving up 24 points is killing us defense wins championships for sure. Zach Taylor needs to stop calling plays and this front office needs to do something bengals fans ain’t going anywhere we want a winning team not this crap
Here's the problems: Zac Taylor is in over his head and a miserable play caller Both starting tackles out and the IOL is bad Safety play is bad Literally have 1 pass rusher on the entire team All is out for the season (he was really helping open up the offense) No rb depth Higgins is out far too often Corner play is bad Shall I continue?
If our offense keeps playing like it just did and our defense turns it up even just a little bit, we will definitely make the playoffs. Probably into the divisional round.
Show me a Line that does not get away with it. Chiefs O-Line gets away with it, Ravens as well. The obvious calls that get missed are so blatant. Sam Darnold anyone?
The bengals are fine, they just have the hardest schedule in the league. Aside from week 1 against the patriots all of their losses could have gone both ways. (we didn't know at the time they lost to the commanders how great that team is)
Too many games are called by missed, inexcusable penalties. I get it if teams are playing close all game and no PI is called, but too often there are games that are called in such a way it makes you angry because of the discretion of the refs
The problem is the overtime rule in the regular season, isnt it? If you would not heavily rely on a coinflip in at the start of overtime, you dont have to go for 2 there.
Being blatantly CHEATED isn’t nitpicking. So many fouls on that last play and NO refs threw a flag???? What the hell are they paid for?? Or did they do exactly what they were paid to do…?
Ravens were getting screwed early by flags (specially the ghost hold on Chase for the TD) and the 4th down catch leading to the final TD wasn't a catch so game should have been over
It alllll comes down to coaching. They need to learn how to how leads and stay aggressive. Controlling the clock is the master mind of it all towards the end. .
People point at the Vikings facemask safety in comparison to this, but i think this situation is far worse. The Vikings had to make a TD and 2 pt conversion push all the way from their goal line with barely a minute left in the game. There was no guarantee of any of that happening, and the game ended early because of a bad call by the refs. This was for a 2-point conversion to clinch the game. They were right there
The disputed reception across the middle a play or two before #44 face mask was NOT a reception. Physics and the human body will clearly show receivers left hand / arm was not on the ball much less possession. The ball came loose by being trapped on receivers right side while defense arm was between receiver left.
Bengals were cruising until their RB fumbled the ball away and handed Baltimore momentum. Also Bengals tackling was piss poor, yes Lamar is quicker and slipperier than anyone but the Bengals defense should've known to take better angles and not sprint right at him in a straight line, plus they were missing tackles on other players too. Bengals Defense is too bad for Burrow and his 2 great receivers to overcome especially as they've been missing games due to injuries this year

1st half the Ravens got called on their penalties and rightly so, second half the refs stopped calling all the holds they commit on every single offensive play of the Ravens. Besides the chiefs and Mahomes, the NFL loves and protects Lamar and the Ravens like none other. 5 missed calls on the 2 point conversion itself..... Watch every Lamar drop back, there's a hold or more.
Only one? Mahomes literally tightroped against the 49ers, not to mention the Titans AFC Champ, or the freaking one hand levitate stretch touchdown 2 years ago
two good teams - Tampa Bay and San Fransisco only have 4 wins right now, and I predict we beat the Steelers twice so although no consolations in the NFL, we lost to the 2 best teams in the NFL (Ravens twice and K.C.) by the slimmest of margins, I believe we would have won if the coaching was better, and the defense just stood up a little bit.
Firing Duke Tobin would do wonders for the Bengals . Bring in a competent HC fire Frank Pollack, Tobin , ZT , n start a scouting dept and they wld be a TOP 3 Team in the NFL . Front office ownership and coaching has been holding the Bengals back for 50 years !!!
2:38 Baltimore is the best in the league? What kind of team that is the best in the league has a passing defense that is worst in the league and bottom ten in points allowed? Not to mention their play calling is often questionable from Tod Monken and their kicker is starting to go down hill as well.
Cincy NEEDS a new coach. The talent is there but no one is managing the game. Burrow throwing two go balls when he needed 2 yards and kill time was bad. No one telling the pass rushers to just contain Lamar to prevent them from getting gassed is coaching. Giving up on run game in the 4th is coaching. Bad management all the way around
I’ve been reading a lot of comments about the officials in the Ravens vs Bengals game. Analysts were surprised at the no call at the end, because Burrow always draws roughing calls against the defense, whereas Lamar seldom does. During his first 3 years in the league, Lamar would drop back to pass and often get hit in the helmet. But the officials treated him like a running back, even when throwing from the pocket. So for Lamar’s first three or four years in the league, he was not getting any roughing the passer calls. It makes it look more obvious when small, weak QB’s, like Burrow, Cousins, or Purdy get hit. That’s why they generally draw a lot of RTP calls.

What is wrong with the refs? That's two Thursday night games in a row that have been decided by bad/ non-calls. Then you have Fitzpatrick after the game covering for them... NFL needs to make all penalties reviewable if the refs are going to miss so many calls. Even Al Michaels is fed up with the refs every week!
I believe that the two penalties should have been called but saying if they didn’t hit him in the face or get held, if you look at it the ball is out of burrows hand before he even gets the hand in the face. "Hands to the face on the quarterback is pretty hard to miss" maybe talk to Sam darnold about that😭😭
no, IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO MISS. So what does that tell you? It tells me the refs were in the tank for the Ravens at home, thanks to Las Vegas and gambling for this
@@anthonygarzione6625the refs literally kept Cincinnati in the game so idk what you’re yapping about
the personal foul (hands to the face) wasn't called because it wasn't intentional where he had hands to the face AND also grabbed the face mask. it wasn't egregious. it was a situation where he took a swipe at the ball and the momentum of his hand when he missed, hit the outside grill of Burrow's helmet.

The ravens play calling in the first half was bizarre. I swear they do better when they just let Lamar play.
#8 had to look on his wrist much more than usual including the first play
Bingo. Which is why Lamar has been playing better since Greg Roman left and they let him take control of the offense.
5 of their games were against 2-7 or 3-6 teams, they should at least be 5-5
The Bengals are 0-5 versus winning teams this year.
@@Jamarrjungleyeah and now we comeback from 14 points deficits 2 times against the bengals and a perfect 4th quarter performance, things don’t stay the same forever especially for someone like Lamar Jackson, he’s gonna adapt at one point lol, anything else sir?
The Bengals trot out the school of deaf and blind to play defense and are surprised when it doesn’t work out
Horrible play calling is what I saw. Deep ball on 3rd and 4th down from the 40 something with 5+ minutes left? Wtf on a 4th and 2!
God bless the team you got man, always a fun watch
1. Terrible defense (except Hendrickson)
2. Terrible O line
3. Bad coaching
If they get those 2 points lamar still marches down to score with 35 seconds and 2 time outs .
I really don't think so bro
Probably, but it wasn't guaranteed
You really don't think that Lamar, with Henry in the backfield, and 2 timeouts, couldn't at the very least get into FG range for Tucker, if not score themselves? That said, Tucker is not a sure thing anymore and its a worse feeling seeing him decline than it was to see us lose the AFCCG last season.
@frethero19 it's his holder, this started after Koch retired.
Isaac Punts had a short breakdown recently.
So whats your point? We were gonna lose anyway? Either lose by 2 points or by 3 points? I still think taking the XP and hoping for a stop and overtime was the best option.
The dude over the guy's shoulder at 0:39 cracks me up. His eyes go wide like he's thinking "you paid HOW much for those tickets?"
Why does Zac Taylor hate Evan McPherson so much
Lamar is not dependent on any one player to score points.
@@mikeoxlong5490 Lamar has the WORST pass defense in the league and he has better legs, not a better O line. Stahp.
@@mikeoxlong5490 it’s easy to get pressured 40 times when you pass 56 times.
@ He doesn’t have a rb LMFAO
The NFL needs to be more consistent with how it treats teams. Cincy gets no respect from the league or the refs.
Respect is earned. Cincy is a garbage franchise that has literally never won anything, and they're 4-6 this year. There's nothing there to respect.
@Willtellthetruth Cincy needs to win more to get the correct calls from refs? Clearly, I'm dealing with a high IQ individual here.
If you can honestly sit there & think they (your team) lost this game because of the refs, then you're just delusional. Ravens- 11 penalties for 81 yards. Bungles had ONLY 3 penalties for 23 yards. Try again, buddy. Get sweeped. Go Ravens! 💜🖤🐦⬛🏈
Hate from Pittsburgh
Ravens 11, Bengals 3. Penalties.
The bengals defense being so good in the first half and then giving up 24 points is killing us defense wins championships for sure. Zach Taylor needs to stop calling plays and this front office needs to do something bengals fans ain’t going anywhere we want a winning team not this crap
Here's the problems:
Zac Taylor is in over his head and a miserable play caller
Both starting tackles out and the IOL is bad
Safety play is bad
Literally have 1 pass rusher on the entire team
All is out for the season (he was really helping open up the offense)
No rb depth
Higgins is out far too often
Corner play is bad
Shall I continue?
If our offense keeps playing like it just did and our defense turns it up even just a little bit, we will definitely make the playoffs. Probably into the divisional round.
Exactly what Herbert went through, all on him and nothing else
He’s not an Ohio guy or a colt so they wont respect him like they glaze others
@balva113 true hahaha
People keep trying to reinvent football 😂. The game is won and lost in the trenches. Always have been and always will be.
Baltimore needed help in BOTH games. Needed a botched FG in the first one, and a referee meltdown in the second one.
They played the ravens twice is the problem
I’m gonna bust through that thing had me dying 😂😂
How about all of the holding that the Bengals offensive line got away with????
Show me a Line that does not get away with it. Chiefs O-Line gets away with it, Ravens as well.
The obvious calls that get missed are so blatant. Sam Darnold anyone?
Shhhh we aren't allowed to talk about that. Only the penalties that was on the ravens
@@melaninknowledge3658your blind if you think they got away with anything ..
@Kroh13 and you're not truthful kid. The refs literally handed the game over to the bengals on a silver platter but they still came up short
how about the cheap shot that marlon humphrey gave to joe burrow?
dickin' arahn'd is exactly what I was thinking. lamar is just so good
Jamar chase winning me one league and losing me the other simultaneously on one half of football
The bengals are fine, they just have the hardest schedule in the league. Aside from week 1 against the patriots all of their losses could have gone both ways. (we didn't know at the time they lost to the commanders how great that team is)
that was best prime time game of the year so far this season
the Bengals have scored 35+ points in a game and lost three times this year. Commanders and both Ravens games. Their defense is uteer garbage.
Doesn’t help they are the only team to face the best offense in the NFL twice already.
Being blatantly CHEATED isn’t nitpicking. So many fouls on that last play and NO refs threw a flag???? What the hell are they paid for?? Or did they do exactly what they were paid to do…?
If the Bengals woulda just beat the sorry ass Patriots like they were supposed to, they would be 5-5 and would be firmly in the playoff picture
Is the defense.
No team should score almost 30 points per game and be 4-6.
Ravens were getting screwed early by flags (specially the ghost hold on Chase for the TD) and the 4th down catch leading to the final TD wasn't a catch so game should have been over
Yup, nobody is talking about thag tho. The refs got tired of bailing them bengals out
It alllll comes down to coaching.
They were right there
Burro is sooo good, but I keep thinking of what some coach said (Bill Parcells?): You are what your record says you are.
Joe Burrow is 0-5 vs winning teams this year. Lamar Jackson has one of the five worst defenses in the NFL, yet he still finds a way to win.
@@clintdiaz5604 Burrow is on the offense not much he can do with their defense.
Bengals Defense is too bad for Burrow and his 2 great receivers to overcome especially as they've been missing games due to injuries this year
this years bengals are the exact reverse of last years eagles - won 11/12 but always close and never looked that good , CIN lookin good but losing close games they should win - they playin like a team up 2-4 games, not down 1
luckily the birds looik like last yr in reverse w coaching getting more comfy as we finally start getting the elite 5 skill position guys back at the same time even with o line in juries out the assssss the def is killin it too esp the young kids two top draft picks quinyon and white boy winter cooper dejean lol fr tho they already like top 10/15 CB's
Lol on that 2 point attempt ya they missedacall on the ravens but the back up LT was holding van noy like crazy.
Well this game was the refs, but other than that their defense is hot ass
The Chiefs/Bengals game also ended on a questionable penalty, and a no call on the Chiefs' offensive line
lmao 30 seconds is all lamar needed to torch that bungal defense foh
1st half the Ravens got called on their penalties and rightly so, second half the refs stopped calling all the holds they commit on every single offensive play of the Ravens. Besides the chiefs and Mahomes, the NFL loves and protects Lamar and the Ravens like none other. 5 missed calls on the 2 point conversion itself..... Watch every Lamar drop back, there's a hold or more.
Maybe JD Vance can invite the Bengals to the White House when he gets inaugurated
Refs steel another one........
steal
Stole?
The refs weren't that bad, far better than any Chiefs game.
If you wanted the bengals to win the game at the 1/2 yard line …. TOOOO BAD !!! 😂😂
Only one? Mahomes literally tightroped against the 49ers, not to mention the Titans AFC Champ, or the freaking one hand levitate stretch touchdown 2 years ago
No call penalties are the issue with the bengals
SOBs - Same Old Bengals!!
Trade chase for 2x firsts rounds or a second and a first. Draft a receiver and two defensive picks.
2pt conversion stat was probably pumped up by the Eagles going for it with the tush push all the time too
two good teams - Tampa Bay and San Fransisco only have 4 wins right now, and I predict we beat the Steelers twice so although no consolations in the NFL, we lost to the 2 best teams in the NFL (Ravens twice and K.C.) by the slimmest of margins, I believe we would have won if the coaching was better, and the defense just stood up a little bit.
Yes, our defense sucks,,,I'm still drinking Bungholes tears in my beer 😜
Bad calls by the officials is the problem, not just for the Bengals but the NFL as a whole
I believe the Bengals have a good chance to finish 10-7
2:38 Baltimore is the best in the league? What kind of team that is the best in the league has a passing defense that is worst in the league and bottom ten in points allowed? Not to mention their play calling is often questionable from Tod Monken and their kicker is starting to go down hill as well.
But they swept this team, other then the trap games every other team the best convincingly
Every one talking like Bengals secondary betrayed Joe Burrow..
But Baltimores secondary did what exactly to Lamar? All those Burrow and Chase stats come from somewhere..
Statistically Ravens secondary is worse than the Bengals, so that's no excuse
took refs for ravens to win yall couldnt even beat the browns lolol

Bengals lost to patriots and only beat trash as teams. you have no point you can make..
Plus my point is still valid. Ravens have worst secondary in the NFL and still won. People act like Burrow and Chase got shorted by their defense.. make it make sense
at least the ravens defense can stop the run and get sacks. bengals defense can't do either one of those things
Refs won another game.....
Bills fan- I’m hoping the Bengals miss the playoffs. They could catch teams sleeping 100%
Most games come down to 1 or 2 plays. Bengals are really just 3 plays away from a win against the Chiefs and two against the Ravens. The season would be totally different sadly.
I legitimately turned off the game and went to sleep and woke up the next morning and the first post I see on Instagram is a post highlighting the time and score I remember tuning out at followed right below by another picture highlighting the end of the game and score. Safe to say I was bamboozeled this morning as a 1/3rd ravens fan living just outside Baltimore and 2/3rds 49ers fan.
Just become a full on Baltimore fan. We are 49er’s daddy dating back to 1996.
If the refs had made the correct call on the 4th down conversion, it wouldnt have even came down to that play.
Don’t blow 21-7
Thank you this game should have been have been over
Absolutely correct! And I called it in real time.
If the bengals didn’t blow a 2 TD lead, they wouldn’t have to worry about losing from a no call
BINGO.
I was huge fan of bengals going for 2 to win the game. Absolutely
Every single db for the ravens had their hands on every wr/te. Coulda called one on any of them. Jamaar was still bout to be wide open in the back of end zone, burrow shoulda went his way. Hard to catch a ball when ur tugged on and being tackled as youre trying to go catch the ball
I just realized they’re were 2 other (one super clear) fouls on that last play
The Bengals secondary couldn’t cover a turtle in a phone booth
To be fair they also face masked the ravens defender in that same play. Both sides did major penalties and none of them got called.
Defense is trash , simple answer , to a simple question
They decide the outcome of every chiefs game😅
Riiiiight.
What happen that raiders game? Or the ravens game when Lamar couldn’t complete a pass in the end zone to save his life? Sheep
The problem is simple. Cheap organization and no defense.
I believe that the two penalties should have been called but saying if they didn’t hit him in the face or get held, if you look at it the ball is out of burrows hand before he even gets the hand in the face. The hand in the face did not cause the overthrow to hudson, those should have been called but burrow overthrew that ball
