    Being a Bengals fan has always been a rough ride. For the longest time it was just fluctuating between mid and horrible across the table. Now we have multiple truly amazing players and still management is finding a way to mess it up, which honestly feels worse than when the games were often boring because now they’re soul crushing. I’ve been calling for Zack Taylor to get fired even during the Super Bowl year, I think he’s a decent couch in charge of a roster that (at times) could attract the very best coaching hires in the sport. Defensive coordinator needs to stay, it’s not his fault(unless this continues next year). But the GM and Ownership need to have reworking, we thought that with the changes in who in ownership was running the team starting with drafting Joe that we would be in a better spot, but so much has been mismanaged and they’re trying to let Joe and Jamar carry the team in their back and betting it all on that without doing anything to give them support, but even they can only do so much.

They lost both Ravens games and the Chiefs game by 5 points just because they’re missing so many things on this team, missing field goals, defense not tackling. The championship window is 5 years for MOST QBs who got paid by the team that drafted them before they won their first Super Bowl.
    The numbers DO NOT lie.
    If you get paid by the team that drafted you before you won them a Super Bowl, then you will probably not win them a Super Bowl.
    The team will be better off with another QB, and you will be better off going to a team that is "one QB away from a Super Bowl."

    • @marckusduverger9776
      @marckusduverger9776 Месяц назад

      So you’re saying 5 years from when they signed their first extension? Or are you saying if you don’t win a Super Bowl on your rookie contract? The numbers do kind of back up this stuff, with that said though part of the reason is there was a dynasty in the way. Peyton Manning won in his 9th season & Aaron Rodgers in his 6th season (3rd year starting I believe). I like Nick’s way of putting it though, that most QBs win their first ring before the age of 30. Going to a new team does seem to work for a decent amount of QBs

      @francmittelo6731 Месяц назад

      @@marckusduverger9776
      It is 5 years from when you make him the official starter.
      If you draft a QB and you make him sit and watch, then his window hasn't started.
      His window will start when he becomes the starter.
      For example, Bo Nix's window has started because he was drafted and made the starter.
      Bo Nix has 4 seasons left to win. If he doesn't win and the Broncos pay him, then the chances of him ever winning for the Broncos will drastically drop.
