For once I'm in total agreement with Nick. Brown is a toxic player. Facts. Look at who the NFL actually changes rules for. Tom Brady tuck rule. Josh Allen doesn't get a chance in OT. They ain't changing any rules for Mahomes and the proof is that it happened the year prior with Mahomes and they did nothing. Only when it happened to Josh. The NFL likes big market teams and has always tried to make subtle changes to give them a better chance to win.
@franklinwhitsell2987 first off, since when was Buffalo a big market team 😂 Second, the NFL itself doesn't change the rules, they are voted on by the owners (FYI, the only teams not to vote in favor of the change were MIN, MIA and CIN). If the competition committee doesn't receive suggestions backed up by findings for a rule change, then there isn't a vote by owners to do so.

I love how Nick said, "We're not stupid!" in the midst of delivering the most ignorant take I've heard this season. AJ Brown centers himself between drives with a motivational book, but Nick knows (somehow) that Brown is actually communicating his anger at not getting more targets. Just ridiculous.....
Actually, he was spot on. Ironically, Tom Brady, working as analyst in this same game, pointed out the difference between "stars" and "winners." He said that "this league has a lot of stars, lots of 'stars,' but 'winners' do the little unselfish things that often go unnoticed but almost always make the difference in the biggest games. He should know after 7 SB wins and many more appearances. Pretty clear which category Brown is in.
A referee tapping a player on the helmet, should be grounds for some kind of dismissal or fire for that referee. He's outta pocket. How can anyone trust you calling a game with Allen playing with that footage floating around?
Whether or not he was doing something shady... the optics were REALLY bad. No one wants to see the refs visiting their opponent's bench to cheer them up regardless of circumstance. Reeks of bias.
"This is the second time that AJ Brown has treated us like idiots" lmfao talking about this even tho the eagles basically beat the packers by 19 points makes you idiots
Micah Parsons was seen laughing with Diggs during a blowout loss and I didn’t see one analysis say anything. AJ Brown reads a book and now he’s a bad teammate. Media is grasping for straws when it comes to the Eagles. If it’s not Hurts, it’s Sirriani, if it’s not Sirriani, it’s AJ.
@austin_madore9417 No, he wasn't. Zero all-pros. Zero pro bowl selections. 22,23, and 24, all with the eagles, and Jalen hurts. You like making things up.

Jahan Dotson- AJ Brown's teammate posted your take and provided evidence on his IG story that Brown indeed had that book at the Wsh game and brings it every game, y'all so quick to judge him and make him the bad guy just to have something to talk about
If AJ Brown was on one knee, saying a 5 minute silent prayer, a teammate taps him on the shoulder when it's time to go back on the field, and he did the cross thing and points to the sky, put his helmet back on and jogged onto the field..... NOBODY WOULD HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IT! What if he was reading a pocket Bible instead of a self-help book?? I'm with Brou 100% on this one
This show is sooooo much better when they have someone who knows sports on the show (Greg and Coach). When they are there the show it gives the show sports credibility and balances the comedic relief with actual sports knowledge.
i'm with brou on this. if there's a lack of effort on the field and he does this then it would bother me. if there's no way to give him the gameplan for the next drive because he's doing this then it would bother me. if it's just "it looks bad" from a viewers perspective then I don't' care. they aren't playing for us. they're playing for their organization and teammates.
You should for real though. Reading may not be the most enjoyable pasttime, but reading a bit a day has been great on destressing and locking in on tomorrow
Love this show but I don’t understand why they never talk Texans. How can a guy reading a book be a bigger story than an underdog winning a playoff game? Not a single segment about the Texans is embarrassing
@ it’s a sports show. Not saying it needs to be the open but they should do a segment on every game before they talk about the cowboys who aren’t even in the playoffs
The problem with talking about the Texans is that you would have to address the Chargers... and how neither of those teams looked like they deserved to be in the playoffs. There were like 9 turnovers between the two teams and the offensive play was horrendous until the Charges gave up in the 2nd half and just let the Texas do whatever they wanted. As a fan of another team who watched that game... it was pretty gross. There is that old phrase, "If you don't have anything nice to say about anything... better to say nothing at all."
@@franklinwhitsell2987 does defense matter at all? The Texans have caused Herbert, Goff and Allen have their worst games of the season. And won two of those games and lost on a last second FG to the lions. They get zero respect but for some reason the Steelers are one of the main topics every show
@@AlexPetrakovitz The Texans offense fumbled 3 times and threw an interception. Neither team deserved to be in the playoffs after watching that travesty of a game. It was embarrassing for everyone involved win or lose. Most college defenses would have looked stout compared to the offenses in this game. Perhaps the Texans defense has been good all year. But that game was just showing off how inept both offenses were all game long. The fact either of these teams got into the playoffs kind of shows how poor the competition was this year compared to years passed. Texans were just lucky the Chargers gifted them the game. Either of these teams had played a good team that week they'd have lost by 30 with all the turnovers. You realize in this game they had 9 turnovers and 9 punts and almost all the punting drives were 3 and out for both teams. Both QB's looked like hot garbage. Both OL's were letting people in unblocked play after play. It was pretty obvious neither team really wanted to be there or to advance, but the Chargers just completely gave up in the 2nd half. It was hard to watch two playoff teams knowing that neither team really wanted to play that game and were giving the game maybe 30% effort.
As a 9ers fan, that follows the NFL as completely as I can. I don't read anything into AJ Brown reading on the sidelines. He's been open about being frustrated, plenty of times. I also played college football, and had teammates that had their own thing when they weren't on the field. Some guys prayed, some guys joked, it doesn't mean they weren't engaged. Joe Montana pointed out John Candy, on a game winning drive in a SB. Some guys just want to calm down and ease the anxiety.
I “I was thinking about bringing my legos set out here and building something because that sometimes helps me calm” 😂😂😂. It’s lines like that that make the diehard Bills fan love this show in spite of all the Bills bashing lol
@ Its not an indicator that hes angry, hes not angry, its not passive aggressive or demanding the ball... Hes literally just reading mindfulness concepts to help him focus.
If you are a player you can watch the game or communicate with teammates/coaches about adjustments being made for the next drive. For the kind of money those players make, it really shouldn't be the distractions.
@@joshuanixon382 No he is 100% correct. He has this book every game. He reads it after nearly every drive. This, per usual, is a none story driven by these clowns.

I’m glad they gave him his peace for a couple of minutes, he was a Packer and he deserves his time. I rad quotes from books all the time, he may have just been gaining inspiration.

Even as a Chiefs fan i recognize that Nick can be wildly biased sometimes but he is completely correct that if a ref did to Mahomes what the ref did to Josh the Internet would believe that every game is rigged for the Chiefs I mean that’s insane to me that’s not a bigger story.
@franklinwhitsell2987 first off, since when was Buffalo a big market team 😂
Second, the NFL itself doesn't change the rules, they are voted on by the owners (FYI, the only teams not to vote in favor of the change were MIN, MIA and CIN). If the competition committee doesn't receive suggestions backed up by findings for a rule change, then there isn't a vote by owners to do so.
When AJ was yelling he was a “diva”, now AJ is reading they still have a problem. Stop tryna control this man and how he needs to mentally prepare. DID THEY WIN?
He was sending the team a message for sure
Naw Greg can't read, so he has a problem with it.
What message he sending
@@marquizeconway That he wasn’t being used enough by the team so instead of openly complaining he did a silent protest

I am really enjoying this segment. FS1 you should make a separate segment “Drama on the field” 😂😂😂
Haha just key in on Greg's facial expressions during this segment, he's feeling a way 😂
AJ Brown: breathes
Media: "Crisis brewing in Philly?"
AJ is like that woman you get into a relationship that craves the drama. The media is really just giving him what he wants then he gets to play it off as a victim.
I'm legit blown away that people have a problem with this
not just me? ok cool
You probably saw nothing wrong with diggs crying in buffalo either huh 😂
If you ask Greg, this is the worst thing a player has ever done on a field😂😂😂
Agreed. He is literally not disturbing anyone. It was reported it was not the first time he had a book on the field.
@@JmacDalocsmooth brain comment.
These dudes get off on creating drama for Philly. Jennings is way too in his feelings lmao they really hate us
Such an egregious take by greg. Aj said this wasnt the first time he had that book with him. Jahan dotson even posted a pic of AJ reading that book when he had over 100 yards!
Even if AJ only read the book if he wasnt happy, every fan would rather Aj read that book than go full AB, T.O., or Odell beckham
This is the first time he had it on the sideline or there would've been video of it. Stop glazing these diva wide recievers.
@Michael-tc1dm it's not the first time dude. Jahan dotaon posted a pic of Aj with the book a few weeks ago.
lol what’s his take? That if he was on the sideline he’d have a problem with it? How is that wrong ?

This is the Philly team that Nick had a fling with this season 😂
Pretty clear which category Brown is in.
that AJ Brown take from nick is his best take all year. he completely acting like a passive aggressive partner.
Anyone who has been in a relationship knows that. You can almost tell people who haven't had relationships by the comments here can't you?
If Nick thinks AJ Brown's passive aggressiveness needs disciplining, then God knows how he deals with his wife's tantrums?😂😂😂
Oh, brother. Who cares if he was reading a book. This is such a non issue. I'm tired of media making much out of nothing. Lets go birds!
I’ve never in my life seen more random nonsense hate against a player than I’ve seen against AJ brown.
Gregg and Coach should both be on every show
If he's one of the best receivers in football & he gets only 3 targets. He gotta do something to keep his mind right
No he's being a passive aggressive little diva.
Was he all-pro before jalen hurts? Answer is no.
@@ktillman2002he was actually
@austin_madore9417
No, he wasn't. Zero all-pros. Zero pro bowl selections. 22,23, and 24, all with the eagles, and Jalen hurts. You like making things up.
One day they'll learn AJ is built differently. That day isn't today.
“To each his own” I need someone defending me like Personal Defense Attorney Chris Broussard is defending that book reading 😂
Go do something in the public eye lol. You're surprised how many people will defend you 😂
Ya this man is guilty! Of reading. Man that was def legit real actual non fantasized wistfully thought up by a hater that neglected to mention his players cosigned to ajs response...........
Jahan Dotson- AJ Brown's teammate posted your take and provided evidence on his IG story that Brown indeed had that book at the Wsh game and brings it every game, y'all so quick to judge him and make him the bad guy just to have something to talk about
it’s just a book. it should actually be welcomed by the nfl to get kids reading.
Long as it isn't a member of my team, I'm all for it!
@@franklinwhitsell2987your team sucks stop talking
They will make anything an issue with Philly 😂
AJ reads that book everygame , again, media blowing stuff in Philly out of proportion and then getting mad at our fans for “overreacting”
If I were the Ravens, I would demand that referee not be allowed to ref our game.
Reading a book?!! How dare he! This could be an onion article lol
"They bring Books?".... then nick trying not to bust out laughing was pure gold. I freaking love this show!!!
6:13 For once. I couldn’t agree more with Nick
Turns out he been doing it all year and the team was fine
i'm with brou on this. if there's a lack of effort on the field and he does this then it would bother me. if there's no way to give him the gameplan for the next drive because he's doing this then it would bother me. if it's just "it looks bad" from a viewers perspective then I don't' care. they aren't playing for us. they're playing for their organization and teammates.
Posting a clip of an afternoon show at 7:30 at night? Someone needs fired
Has anybody heard of the term passive aggressive? LOL
Anyone who has been in a serious relationship laughed at that moment.
AJ can't do anything without yall thinking the worst 🤦♂️
We all know that a ref went over to the bench and apologized to Mahommes for missing a call, the internet would've CRASHED!
Nick tearing up that paper was hilarious.
My therapist told me I should read more
You should for real though. Reading may not be the most enjoyable pasttime, but reading a bit a day has been great on destressing and locking in on tomorrow

nah that was hilarious 😂😂
AJ wants everyone in the world to know and acknowledge…that he don’t need attention 😂
Love this show but I don’t understand why they never talk Texans. How can a guy reading a book be a bigger story than an underdog winning a playoff game? Not a single segment about the Texans is embarrassing
Texans dont draw ratings sorry pal
Greg didn’t know what to say at first lol
Mr Jennings hating on reading on the sidelines but sneak reads texts 8 minutes into this segment 🤔
Greg’s “you don’t bring it to the sidelines” really is the point.

@ he doesn’t do it every game lol and just bc it isn’t new doesn’t mean it’s not bad .
@ Tell me how its bad then, if it helps him focus how is that bad?
@ Its not an indicator that hes angry, hes not angry, its not passive aggressive or demanding the ball... Hes literally just reading mindfulness concepts to help him focus.
I just think you should be watching the game unless you’re taking a breather, drink or injured.
If you are a player you can watch the game or communicate with teammates/coaches about adjustments being made for the next drive. For the kind of money those players make, it really shouldn't be the distractions.

Having to read a book to passively aggressively pretend you're not mad is weird to me. It shouldn't be that hard to participate in a team effort by acting like your part of a team instead trying to be center of it by pulling out your little self help baby book in the middle of a playoff game.
