Profit is what you get in your hands at the end. Revenue doesn't tell me anything unless it's paired with profit. Most RUclipsrs tell you their revenue much more than they do their profit because it sounds better.
Thanks Hannah for the insight. I would like to know if I can launch my etsy store with different product types ( like clothing, home and living in one shop) with various niches? Yes i am trying to print on demand for the first time and want to see which product types and niches can attract more traffic. Please advise.
I usually say in the beginning because there’s so much of a learning curve when you just go to market for the first time focus on one product line, because it’s likely you’re not gonna master that singular product line in the first 100 listings it might take you 100 times to realize what you’re doing wrong on just that one product,
It could be the case that you come out and you just kill it but it’s kind of like trying to learn more than one customer avatar at the same time so it’s not impossibl just a lot of harder, launching into different product lines is obviously the goal but you really need to understand one customer avatar first before moving to another.
Hey Hannah! First, I hope you are doing well and thank you for all your help & precious information! I have a question. In your opinion, wich of these titles is more seo friendly for a listing? Name of the design, category, keywords Or Category, design name, keywords Example: Peace and love Tee, women's Graphic T-shirt , perfect gift for her, available in multiple colors Or Women's Graphic T-Shirt , piece and love tee, perfect gift for her, available in multiple colors Thank you in advance!
Great question the problem is with questions like this is I don’t really have true data to say which one is actually going to perform better so if you want to test it out for yourself, I would duplicate the listing twice and see which one gains attraction with the most impressions first because obviously that one’s hitting the algorithm better than the other
@@EcomHannah Woah! A quick reply, thank you so much. I'm ( very ) new to etsy. Good products ( 🙄 I guess ) but 0 sale 0 follower 0 admirer 😓. So no data to have a clear idea about the path to follow.
Do you have to pay for shipping and a shipping label because if so I am paying 18.75 for production shipping and shipping label leaving no room for profits because fees cost 2 so I need to price 26 to make profits that’s just to much because competitors r at like 15$ any tips thanks

Thanks Hannah, when you got rid of including your shipping, did you drop your original prices? Is that what contributed to more growth?
we did not for our niche but for low ticket niches this will certainly help you compete better if your niche is price competitive
Men's leather gifts would be a great area for you guys
They are!

The right answer should be based off data not guessing

There is so many variables that could be causing this I would need more information to understand

Are you giving free shipping?
@@EcomHannah do I have to pay for shipping and a shipping label for print on demand
If you were selling physical goods, you always have to pay for the shipping label to get it to your customer
For pod or handmade
