Honestly same - it was one of the most unique builds in the game, but Nova really was worse off for it. The changes look phenomenal and I can't wait to build her back out!
@@Impersonatr I don't think she was necessarily worse off for it, since it was mostly for farming relatively easy mission to begin with and she didn't have real competition in that niche, but the benefits she's gotten out of more formally integrating Speedva into the her kit are huge for her flexibility. Switchva is a build that already had seen some experimentation, because the benefits of opening the mission with the speed up and transitioning to a slow were so good. This solidifies that build and makes it much more accessible for newer players.
@@RiderOmega Oh I completely agree. I meant that she was too inflexible before the changes. Negative strength had zero synergy with the rest of her kit and/or the various helminth options, and you had to be a bit careful with forma to accommodate the two 'main' builds. I was testing in the simulacrum yesterday when it launched and was so shocked at how effective her 2 is now. I didn't even have any kind of reap build for it either. So much fun now
Eh if a light switch is nuance. She’s only ever really cared about duration with string for all intents only effecting speed. Now you can actually build for range in speed build and nuke without a helminth

Caliban: I was given an extensive and thought out rework due to my many complaints about low player count and poor effectiveness. I should be in a much better spot now Nova: Hehe lite rework go BRRRRR
Nova is super amazing at survivability with this build, but whats really cool is how flexable that survivability is. If you're doing an endless mission, then you can start as speedva with damage eclipse, when things start to do too much damage like 1 hour into it, you can do DR eclipse, then at 2 hours you can switch over to slowing enemies and keep going for another 10 hours with no problems.
I've recently come back to the game and remember it being a super rare difficult to obtain mod from Earth sabotage caches or random drop from killing kubrows on Earth? Have they added more drops for it?
Loved her before, but became too situational. Now she just flows well as a mobile primer in a mission, and being able to switch fast to slow ulting is great, ntm the passive change is huge. Personally running 2 equil tau shards, 2 tau duration, and 1 tau casting speed. Running a nuke build with her star spam with nourish, and 2nd tank armor strip build with pillage.
yeah her passive is cracked now honestly. Perfect synergy for her kit. I used to run dispensary on a bunch of my speed based builds but now that wouldn't even be necessary with purple shards or equilibrium
Really looking forward to all the pet builds people are going to be making. The Nova Rework is great, but I think the pets are my favorite part of the update so far - feels like there's so much possibility now.
yes, you can do so much more with her now and you really *really* don’t need to subsume. it’s just part of broz’ brand, or maybe a compulsion at this point. or the videos do better if they have a subsume in the build, who knows
Her kit is great all-around now. Brozime subsumed the portal for Eclipse purely for survivability/damage buff, but her warp portal makes her the 2nd fastest warframe in the game, great for speedrunning.
It took a nerf somewhat at same time but LoS change was expected , although it’s kept its scaling absorb multiplier under the hood hah , it’s been great since armour capping / armour stripping but the QoL it’s got is great
I find that the benefit from eclipse or roar is nice, but I can’t make myself give up silence on her because of how well it synergizes with molecular prime by dragging out the silence animation and deactivating eximus abilities.
The tankness test dont do it justice, i spawned 20 exo goskad that in turn spawned their own turrets, i sped them up and let them rip, my shield was going from 0 to 1 and back to 0 to gray health and back to 1 almost instantly as fast as they could shoot, its basically infinite shield gating.

Good old Nova. She's managed to stay at least a little bit relevant for the entire lifespan of the game, and even post-rework she's got pretty much the same kit she always has. Koumei being 'not very good' is certainly an interesting take; so far most ppl I've heard claim she's really good to borderline broken once she gets the decree system running in longer missions. I'll reserve my judgment for when I actually had the chance to try her myself, after all it wouldn't be the first time that 'Zime is just plain wrong with his assessment of a new frame or augment.
@@8bitmemorylane166 It takes too long for Koumei's decrees to come online unless you get really lucky and then it only works in solo unless your teammates intentionally hold back to let you get your Wall Latch kills or whatever it asks you to do. The rest of her kit is bad at worst and mid at best so she winds up just being a weapons platform ft. decrees and there's at least a dozen better weapons platforms. Wouldn't you want synth fiber on vulp that way the health orbs are picked up at full health and consistently proc equilibrium or equilibrium shard for energy?
Since you're going to have your shields up at all times and since Antimatter Drop is the only thing really benefiting from Strength past 150%, if it already does enough damage for you, you can swap one duration shard for a strength shard - or even change the mod to Precision Intensify - and then swap Molt Augmented for Molt Efficiency for that juicy +36% Duration.
@@redlord4321 It doesn't really matter here though. You want 150% strength for your 4, and that means each particle is 7.5% DR. Since it's capped at 90%, that only takes the base 12 particles - and the duration just from Primed Continuity already gives you 18. And the damage from the particles is pretty meaningless. So you really just don't care about >150% Strength for Null Star.
@@M0du5Pwn3n5 I wound up going with just Transient Fortitude for Strength, then 4x Tau Duration shards and a Tau Parkour Velocity shard for movement alongside Molt Efficiency and Primed Continuity for 224% Duration, which is more than comfortable. Honestly, the Molt Efficiency is unnecessary but I like the extra duration for Eclipse. I had been running Adaptation, but Eclipse is close enough and frees up a mod slot. Running it with Equilibrium feels super comfortable as well, I never had any kind of energy issues while fighting.
@@Malkavon Yeah, that makes sense if you want to really juice Antimatter Drop. My thinking is: 1. I'm not going to mod my weapons for antimatter drop (which requires really different modding since it ignores crit and status) 2. Most things that won't die to a 150% strength Antimatter Drop probably also won't die to a higher strength Antimatter Drop either. 3. Nothing else meaningfully uses strength past 150%. 4. So replacing Molt Augmented with Molt Efficiency and swapping one tau duration shard for one (regular!) strength shard means I lose some strength I didn't care much about in exchange for 21 more Duration (which I also get instantly and works just as well in short missions, unlike Molt Augmented).
@@M0du5Pwn3n5 Honestly, while yes Antimatter Drop doesn't care about Crit or Status, I tested with the Kuva Hek build Brozime showed (how I missed that Scattered Justice can go on the Kuva Hek now I have no clue!) and it did more than fine while also being good at evaporating acolytes. I also tested it with my Viral HM Tenet Arca Plasmor build and with my Furis Incarnon build and both worked just fine. I did compare it with a "pure" damage build version (alt-fire showed a whopping ~420k damage per alt-fire), but the actual damage I was doing with Antimatter Drop wasn't meaningfully different in effect than with a normal viral/heat build. I don't expect modding specifically for Antimatter Drop is worth it, nor is it necessary at all - shotguns in general work best for charging it, but so long as you bring a decent gun you should be able to nuke just fine.
Its a little funny you saying you have to go chase down your energy because youre getting them from so far away. Like we have to say the same thing about any other nuking frame lmao.
Often see Equilibrium outside of necros, why? What has changed in the last few years to make equilibrium good? Do you pickup health orbs on full health now?
I made the exact same build theory crafting bascially (no archon shards though so streamline is switched for EQ) but i had Adaption instead of Redirection. Does it not stack with her passive? Or is Primed Redirection more EHP?
How much worse is the build with 23 particles instead of your 24 and normal redirection (not maxed) instead of primed? Im at the same range, cant run streamline, at 4% less strength and 6% less duration with 2 tao reds and 1 normal red. ive also got 1 normal purple. I figure that the strength difference is negligible b/c of augmented and I assume that the difference between 23 and 24 particles doesnt matter either. Im worried about the survivability of not having over 1k shields.
The amount of particles doesn't really matter as the damage reduction is capped at 90%. Now strength also affects how much you get per particles so you might need like 14 or 15 but still have more than enough.
As long as you have Arcane Aegis, it shouldn't matter. It's the arcane that carried the survivability in the initial test in this video, for example, not the specific amount of shields. If you only have 1 regular non-tau purple shard, you should probably do the swap that was mentioned: Change Streamline to Equilibrium. This isn't a super-durable build anyway, despite what was said in the video - or rather, it is, but it relies totally on Arcane Aegis to be that. A few points of shield more or less isn't what saves it. Kind of sucks that Brozime doesn't make that clearer.
The bar for banning is so low its actually silly. Had a really awesome friend who was warlord clan founder and they got banned for essentially scolding a player for wasting the plat THEY WERE GIVEN AND TOLD TO SAVE. Never give plat beggars plat they are pathetic little cretin. Said friend had also recently bought heirloom and thats the thanks DE showed him
@@eldoriyah8236 I feel like this isn’t the whole story, you don’t just get permabanned for no reason lol. DE devs and mods are GENERALLY pretty fair and if you submit a ban appeal for something that didn’t have to do with plat returns or using cheats they’re pretty forgiving for that kind of stuff.
Being able to unload a full mag of kuva hek in your own face (in malice bubble) and not even trigger shield gate is telling a lot about how absurdly tanky the build is.
It’s. Mostly based on absorption , also the multiplier still scales with strength under the good , it does a metric fuckton in grouped enemies that are primed , and that’s not even factoring armour strip of present
@@RossKyle95 did they change it so that it's affected by power strength? because I remember it cap at 250k damage no matter how much strength you put in.
@@TheBikeOnTheMoon IT was an under hood change maybe 2 ish years ago , was noticeable if you tested it on old no strength builds then compared it to really high strength , with advent of helminth and armour strips etc it became super , also they changed the absorb multipliers name and state it scales with strength with last hotfix

Koumei's main two issues are, stats dont do much for her and she basically just primes with her abilities making her a weapons platform but relies on her decrees. In short to medium missions its almost doing nothing for her. Only in VERY long missions can she start stacking them and become a goddess. If power strength could affect her dice luck (even if they made u have to build insane amounts of it) then her 3 could give invincibility more often, her 1 and 4 could prime even better, and sometimes her 2 could just give a decree without some overly long challenge made longer by having your wall latch kills taken by any of the other room clearers. Though a third thing i would mention is the decree time cap is WAY too long, it actually hurts her in shorter missions as she wont be there for long anyway so why make her wait nearly 3 mins for 1 decree? even if it had no time she still couldnt stack quick enough in normal missions to become "OP" when other frames like octavia are op from the very first second and all the way to level cap. She is very fun to play as but its clear she has some big problems and i hope DE and or Pablo are not too prideful to see it. Oh and her 1 basically does what her 4 does but worse since it doesnt CC. Only time it is better is for a enemy that cannot be CC'ed anyway like a boss. Her 1 also breaks when ran with max range, it despawns the initial webs and loads them in later.
@@thedoomslayer5863 Nicely said. her third isnt worth even relying on. The decrees are cool but if you arent getting the rare ones then the others kinda are useless, atleast from the ones I got but most would never be used. Her first ability is able to CC just based on the nature of what ever status itll proc but its only for a moment. So it really is just a worst ult. I feel like her Ult should be her first ability and then her new ult should be something else completely. At the minimum her third ability should remove the internal cool down to be even worth anysort of actual utility. If youre getting hit with 50 tics of damage a second, only one tic of damage will be blocked then the rest fly right through. Also to in an average thirty minute run or mission, I dont imagine you get a chance to get many degrees at all ?
Flow and Streamline are completely unnecessary. Especially with Molecular Fission. I just run energy nexus since it takes care of your energy by itself and you don’t have to go pick up orbs.

I thought Koumei was pretty good. She tanks great, and scales into long missions absurdly well.
Long live the Queen 👑
Its a little funny you saying you have to go chase down your energy because youre getting them from so far away. Like we have to say the same thing about any other nuking frame lmao.
Often see Equilibrium outside of necros, why? What has changed in the last few years to make equilibrium good? Do you pickup health orbs on full health now?
you do, yes
I made the exact same build theory crafting bascially (no archon shards though so streamline is switched for EQ) but i had Adaption instead of Redirection. Does it not stack with her passive? Or is Primed Redirection more EHP?
It does stack but redirection is usually better because Aegis has more opportunity to proc
Doesn't the sound and music sound a bit muffled ?
Somehow bite is still the most expensive single mod for pets.
I’ve seen a video where they used archon vitality for 1 spam. Bringing it up bc it’s so nice to see nova reworked
Does Tigris still work for Ball ?
So Neutral Nova is 100% dead?
Also, wouldn't Molt Efficiency be good here? Since Duration on Shields.
You go negative power strength to get neutral Nova now. I don't remember how much, I think I saw someone say 75%?
@@StarfieldDisarray Oh sweet, so it's about the same then. Thanks!
Okay I checked it out and even at 55% strength, it's still 27% slow.
YESSSSS we can FINALLY take her out of Defense
Nova was good anywhere enemies needed to be killed quickly. The speedup combined with damage vulnerability
You always could.
Feels like 1 hour ago
Its about time she got some love. Now the MIGHTY SEER needs some
How much worse is the build with 23 particles instead of your 24 and normal redirection (not maxed) instead of primed?
Where do I get this simulacrum? I'm R5 with them n don't see it for sale?
Loid has it in the Dante shop
My very first frame 10 years ago...I picked a bad time to get banned indefinitely.....
DE devs and mods are GENERALLY pretty fair and if you submit a ban appeal for something that didn’t have to do with plat returns or using cheats they’re pretty forgiving for that kind of stuff.
how do you survive a toxin prock?
97.5% damage reduction
Anyone have recommendations on weapons to shoot nova orbs?
Orange shard for shield regen.
Gosh I wish they would rework Oberon. I know I have the best build for him but my God please buff him DE!
What would I do in the case of i don't primed redirection?
normal redirection is totally fine for this
@@Brozime okay

Being able to unload a full mag of kuva hek in your own face (in malice bubble) and not even trigger shield gate is telling a lot about how absurdly tanky the build is.
Please what is that syandana? T.T
He’s using the Revenant Prime Access syandana with the new Volt Deluxe Ephemera
@@howtyplcal350 ilu
her ani matter drop is still not very good because of the damage cap imo. It barely scratches enemies at higher level in steel path.
It’s. Mostly based on absorption , also the multiplier still scales with strength under the good , it does a metric fuckton in grouped enemies that are primed , and that’s not even factoring armour strip of present
if you do armor strip, it can one shot lvl cap acos.
DE Pablo try not to cook challenge, impossible
I don't like this challenge, I want that man in the kitchen as much as possible.
I love how some content creators on yt say Koumei is broken and op and some say she needs a buff😂

Too bad no longer able to cast multiple antimatter drops simultaneously

hello from twitch chat
oh ya its liit
You managed a decent fashion on that skin.... I struggled to fashion it...
"light rework" btw

You also have the passive DR from kuva Fortress 😅
Neat! When do you think they will qol the game brozime? Can't recall the game ever being in such a rougher state impo. Random crashes, infinite bugs, invert settings just not working, propa hit regs on eidos lol thats a good one. Think its to due with volt shields. But who cares about eidos, i mean i do but yea. Cant link things, cant trade, cant stay connected. All aya isnt rewarded after mission's. Doubt you'll reply but yea. Cool nova stuff. Hopefully they dont make anything on trin hold to cast.
Ski isi?
Add time stamps FFS
I hope brozime talks about what a useless failure of a frame koumei is. I swear people are high thinking shes good. She is a total gimmick.
She could use a buff but I do like koumies themed and abilities
Flow and Streamline are completely unnecessary. Especially with Molecular Fission. I just run energy nexus since it takes care of your energy by itself and you don’t have to go pick up orbs.
