I like short videos, but not the shorts that youtube tries to push, just like a regular aspect ratio video that's like 5 minutes would be awesome for notable changes or concerns for builds.
I'd go with this one.
This. For me it's relevant because the algorithms for shorts and regular videos are somewhat separate and I don't want to turn my shorts into a Warframe feed.
Shorts are good for changes to builds, but It would be nice if you could do them retroactively for your older refresh guides. Obviously the warframes that had vast changes over the years probably need a full video. But I would say a good 80% of the refresh playlist needs a short. eg. Saryn with dual toxocyst interaction.

While I agree with you, I think Brozime's long form is better. You get the build, the reasoning behind his choices, the alternate choices and then the example of how it actually works in game. In a short you really can't get that out in that limited amount of time. Yes its an update but at some point its not longer a short its a full fledged video so may as well be the long form we get. Great thought tho

I think updates in Shorts is fine, though I would also recommend linking the short in the description of the full video.

Too demanding for group play to, Baruuk suffers around frames that nuke efficiently.
Tell me you don't know how Brozime grades frames without telling me you don't know
Baruuk is amazing for solo, but impossible to use properly while playing with a team, you simply can't kill enough enemies to sustain restraint if you ain't playing solo.
Also, Panzer Vulpaphyla with Tandem Bond can keep your combo permanently up while using serene storm, the waves are more than enough to kill anything in the game, no clunky slam build required.
Well, that's just wrong. I main Baruuk. Go into SP, pop your daggers, speed ahead, lull groups of enemies, pop your four, keep your daggers up and see the good numbers.
@@stayshift you've gotta fight tooth and nail to keep your restraint down, especially if someone's playing a long range nuker. Sevagoth and Voruna, for example, will obliterate most enemies before you can tag them with Lull or Desolate Hands.
If you're fast enough and your teammates are slow enough, you're good, but if not you'll be reduced to a bad weapon platform.

A normal video on a post nerf/change build would always be nice, I personally don't jive with shorts that much, especially in Warframe's case, where the resolution ratio makes it awkward to try to see anything.

I subsumed Wrathful Advance over his 1 and ran a few duration shards to get his duration to around 40%.
It makes it super fun to zip around and feel like Lee Sin while punching and kicking the soul out of the enemies.
I like to run purple crit damage shard plus wrathful advance for crazy damage

Shorts could work! I just definitely think you should also link those in your website's build sections so we can get the original build and any modifications/updates.

Chapter 2: The Power of 30 mil damage Gas Procs
I think when it comes to the updated builds due to small changes/nerfs; I'd prefer to have more of a "compilation" video of sorts covering several changes across different frames/builds as opposed to a handful of shorts/5-minute videos with the aforementioned compilation video linked in the original videos description (preferably at the top so it's easily visible.)
You can kiiiinda use blood rush on exalted if you equip gladiator mods! 3 of them are available to melee weapons so you can stick that onto the whip and get 30% CC per combo (150% CC at 6x)
Its bugged where when baruuk gets combo (which he does in this build it messed up the glad set
He knows, it's been on his older builds. The issue is that it's clunky and not worth the effort.

I never see any YT shorts. I think if you rolled up a bunch of changes to builds that happened because of hotfixes into a video, that would be good.
the idea of shorts or 3 minutes videos will be nice, either for new augments that doesn't deserve a full video, minor build updates, or current bugs or bugs fixes that affects certain build or that have been affecting them for a long time. also 20:26 hi robozime
I hate Shorts but id be fine with just a short video for updates. You could also just start doing pinned comments for small updates and mentioning to check the pinned comment in the beginning of the video.
Short and a community note letting us know should be good enough with the fact there's a short with the updated notes in the description of the video
I think a short for an update is acceptable as long as there are links on each that link to each other. Main problem is that the short needs to make sense by its self to people that are just scrolling, coming across "update to x build" without previous context or a link(that works*) back to the original video is just bad shorts content and would be better as just a pinned comment or updated description.
*shorts are weird links in comments don't work, you can link to a video at the bottom of a short as a created from link.
Id love a short that shows what it does, says "these are optimal, these are the alternatives," and explains in a sentence or two how to do it. Like, "this is baruuk's 40 million damage slam. Here are the mods, heres the weapons, and you do it by slamming." 30 seconds flat, and we can pause on the mod screen to read them.
I’m good with an actual whole update video on nerfs and retooling. But I wouldn’t expect a whole new kuva fortress run. Just a quick showing to let me know if it still worth investing in or not. But I understand that just making a short makes more sense. Which ever you think will get you better monetization!
Man I haven't played Warframe in 5 years time and it seems like too much to get back into, but this looks soooo much fun. I wish I had some friends to play with and learn the game again.
On build updates: I think I'm more likely to see a community post than a short.
I suppose I might prefer a compilation of short updates with timestamps, or a regular brief video.
Either way I appreciate when others add a pinned message on the main video adding new info, or even change the title to include "read pinned" in the event that an update broke something.
9:05 since you yave combo on desert wind from galvanized mod, you can put the gladiator set on the verdalac (or weapon of choice). The bonus crit chance will apply to desert wind as ling as you dint build combo on the "stat stick"
Any chance there's a Mesa update on the horizon? Mostly asking because I'm a little sick of using Nourish and I'm on that copium that there's alternatives on a similar level
EDIT: Also to answer the question from the Survival, I feel like actual videos would probably be better, Shorts have the potential to get lost in the mix
I'm a lot more likely to see a regular video than a short, shorts don't show up in the subscription section on youtube unless I'm on mobile.
What about ferrying the Gladiator Set effects off your Normal Melee to bolster the Serene Storm? Given the initial-combo being given, you'll regularly get decent crit bonuses for higher tiers of crits, which can get even more crazy when given the Galvanized Steel effect of more crit damage per tier of crit.
Given that G. Steel gives a bit of crit but lots more crit damage, I'd actually say Organ Shatter could be dropped in the same vein as Sac. Steel to consolidate what's actually on the Serene Storm and thus provide more space for something like Focus Radon (gives a bit of Radiation and even more Combo Efficiency)

Noticed in my baruuk has reached my most played frame and for good reason
Even when he can't be used to his full potential you can throw up his three, spam the 2 with low duration and play the game on easy mode
Probably 400+ hours in baruuk and don't think I've died to enemies yet
15:17 I believe you can. Put BR on your melee weapon, and do NOT build any combo on it (if you get combo, use a Heavy to use it), then go to Baruuk's Fists, get to 12x (or 4x with Galv. Reflex), and BR will be active on the Fists. There's a pet mod that helps you build combo, but I forgot the name (it's a Bond mod). Don't forget to make sure you Heavy Attack on your melee before hitting 4, and make sure you hit an enemy with your Fists from time to time to make sure you don't lose your combo.
Is it a pain in the ass? Yes. Should DE consider allowing us to use BR on Exalted Melee weapons? Yes. Will it happen? I doubt it. I would help some frames (e.g. Valkyr), but would make others even stronger (e.g. Baruuk).
17:25 I'm super okay with a short, if those 60 seconds is enough to explain what happened. However, it should be linked to the original build video, and maybe even add a "Nerfed", "Buffed", "Changed", "Fixed", etc. needed.
Build refreshes: A short sounds good, as long as it's just "We do this now, not that anymore" level stuff. Maybe throw in some game play to show any differences in play style, but I think you can cover most of it as a mod overview.

I personally use both of his augments and Arcane fury + Augmented. I rarely use Baruuk but when i do its really fun

It's funny how DE changed how slam damage works and it seemed relatively unimportant at the time, but a few months later they seem to be a part of many op builds.

I genuinely don't care where the build updates comes from, weather they be in full videos or shorts, so if shorts are easier to produce than go for it. We crave gudiance from Warframe Daddy.

Honestly, i would prefer if you did larger update videos when builds get nerfed/ buffed, but making quick shorts also works very well and would probably be easier on you as far as time usage goes

Hey, I’m a newer player and have come across your videos which I find very informative. I was just wondering if you could also spend a minute or two going through the builds/mods that would be relatively achievable for newer players that don’t have the forma or high end arcanes/archon shards. Great videos regardless!
I think shorts would be good enough for some small changes to builds. That said, I wanted to ask if you've toyed around with some new mods and arcane battery on your rhino build (using parasitic armor)? I've tried it and while it's not super comfortable it can open another mod slot, the problem there is I have no idea what to even do with it. More shields? Armor? Health? Who knows.

It should be noted Valkyr can do similar things with a similar setup with Hysteria.
17:26 I say if it’s like a slight tweak with like 2 or 3 differences make a short…usually if I copy a build from u I usually have no reason to come back to the video…so a pinned comment or something on that video wouldn’t work for someone like me…but a short is new so I’ll get notified and it’s not wasted footage on a 10-15 min video on 2 or 3 mod changes to the build of everything else (including how u play the build) is still the same

I don't really watch shorts and they are a mess to navigate, maybe do a quick "where do we stand?" video every couple weeks that just goes over if any build has been changed in a minor way (i.e. Voruna is still good but not as busted, Baruuk still has a bug on his augment).

ok i think i may have burnt something but weird question, is quick thinking technically better on a pflow+purple build than running a vitality mod if i want more tank?? just seems like could be but maybe base armor + more strength with umbral would still make it irrelevant

I would say for minor updates, a short that is connected to the original video. And pin a link the the short in the comments.
i personally really like pillage on baruuk, even with negative duration i can get decent coverage(31.6m with 145% range and 50% duration) and with all the DR and shields he feels nigh immortal
For me in duviri he needs some energy solution because pets aren't there. But most of the time this should be fine

Personally I barely ever have shorts pushed to me that I care about, so I'd say a video would be better but I know the short format is better for an update

I can’t wait for Kullervo Prime so I will finally feel comfortable enough to max out my investment on him and one shot everything in the game with Tenet Exec Slam build, I find it so much more fun than the titron for some reason.
Even if you include Archon Shards removal (150% bile), you're looking at about a week to farm everything that goes into the frame. Simply doing Syndicate mods will get you over 100p a week. It's not that bad and if you enjoy a frame a lot, you might as well.

It’s a shame they removed the stat stick bug. They need to rework his exalted to give more moves and easier to build combo.

do a shorts, then put it in the previous video where the little "i" icon is and give it a title like "this build is out of date or updated version of this build" and have it link to the short so its just a quick and easy click that pops up anyways
Thing is, magistar incarnon (not even sancti) can do this too with less investment so im kinda hesitant to invest
idk if baruuks 4 can proc Melee Influence but it procd for me once whilst using his 4 i had electric as a side element next to viral the icon for the arcane popped up maybe it was a one time thing but its never happened after that
17:40 personality I hate shorts so for me ied much prefer a full video (also most of the time I don’t see shorts in my feed, I’ve only seen then on the tv app).
You could also update the video title to say it’s outdated/been fixed without the need to do a full video.
my problem is using baruuk in normal missions or even in steel path with missions that don't spawn that much enemies.

also about the shorts I have shorts blocked on youtube because of unhealthy habits and such so I'd rather like a "post patch" video where all the builds are just shown without like the longform content to it. Compilation style.
If you put only Toxin on the fists, and use Archon Continuity, your fists will do Toxin + Corrosive procs. Sorta seems like the better way to go rather than doing Gas procs. An additional tip, if Baruuk uses triple Umbrals, Arcane Battery itself will get you to 502 Energy, so you dont need to use P.Flow
the toxin fists would get screwed by the Augment interaction, if the faction he's fighting has a non-combined element weakness, it would combine with toxin and break the synergy, same reason he gave for not using pure heat + archon vitality

I despise RUclips Shorts, so I'd prefer a pinned comment or small update video. If shorts are used, I'd appreciate a TL:DW comment or description update on the original video as well.
