You're not wrong. The only rule I think most people will defend religiously is "NO STORY SPOILERS". Most will decline to tell you what happens in any of the quests. They will at best hype up certain ones and tell you to do them asap but they will not tell you what happens.
Getting bombarded with gifts of boosters, cosmetics, weapons and warframes is definitely not the normal new player experience. Asking people to get you to places and help you acquire certain items on the other hand is very much so.
Absolutely agree! New players, seeing how easily he achieves everything, might think it will be the same for them, but then they might face disappointment when they realize how hard it is to achieve everything on their own.
Boosters - I was told that folks give boosters to noobies all the time Cosmetics - Doesnt impact gameplay Weapons & Warframes - Telling people NOT to gift these to me and not using them even if they do
You're correct. It's not that we're hating on it but to say this is normal for new players is insane and delusional. This is my man's job and it's nice for people to show the love. No one wants to watch him grind relics for 4 hours imo. I found it endearing how he said he's getting remnant prime by himself. But try and join a rad group without the relic and see how friendly people are. The way he plays has no effect on anyone else but I really hope new players understand how not normal this is

Exactly I’m in the same boat I play ember as a support weapon booster set up. Yes it maybe be niche but I’ve always been a gamer who makes sure my teammates are doing well.
@shadowbush5021 if you haven't yet, take a look at Citrine for similar purposes, especially with the Archon mods to make her 3 even better. Her whole kit revolves around supporting teammates in ways that improve their offense.
As a WF Vet (2013), there were a few things most fellow Vets from my old Clans agreed on that we do for newbies. - Weekly Plat Giveaways (this only works if you have Plat Goblins in the Clan) - Ignis Wraith Giveaway (you can expect this from any Vet back in the day, just ask for it in World Chat) - Boosting and Taxiing (I used to do this for 3-hours a day back when I was REALLY, REALLY into the game) - Targeted Relic Farming and Cracking (I used to do this whenever there isn't anyone asking for boosts) - Eidolon Carries (I didn't do this.. not exactly.. I was the group Trin back when the runs weren't optimized yet) - Fashion Critique (I did this... a lot... too much sometimes)
Boosting - Basically power-leveling other players.. especially back when AFK Banshee was still a thing.. with boosters, you can max out a frame in a single run. Taxiing - not entirely sure if this is still doable.. but back in the day, you can access a mission node you haven't reached yet by asking someone who can access the node and piggybacking on them. There's also Corrupted Farming, but I'm not sure people still do these with the abundance of the mods.
Also, braindead metas were a big part of WF history.. and are some of the most fun I had in the game. From Nuke Limbo, Nuke Trin, Chroma Meta, Miasma Spam, Plague Zaw Meta, Spin-to-Win Meta, AFK Banshee, etc.. but for some reason Octavia has remained UNTOUCHED.. Also, I'll never forget the first time I got BSOD by a dude using Simulor with a Mirage.. oh and the Telos Boltace that crashed your game.
From what I remember they changed the Ignis wraith when they added it to railjack they also added it to every clan as a researchable item and also removed its ability to be tradeabke
@@justpazzingby13 Taxiing - definitely can't do anymore, at least not to unlock a single specific node. You can still take people there if you are in a group (some nodes) but it does not unlock the node for the new player like it used to.
I also wish my newbie experience of warframe is people sending me free wf and weapon slots and boosters, potatoes and shit so it wasn't as painful as I have it. This is definitely a streamer new player experience and is not representative of the general experience.
Agreed, this is very far from a "new player experience" as there aren't just random people giving you relics and taxing you thru fissure missions to get primes.

I understand your point in showing people how the Warframe community is.. but as a new player, myself, just watching and seeing how much you’ve progressed with affinity boosters, drop chance boosters, and resources, weapon slots, frame slots. I have to grind prime stuff, find a buyer and sell it just in order to get a slot. I’m a MR bellow you.. and I can definitely see that I’m falling behind. Even though my understanding is to take Warframe at my own pace. The difference in your progression and mine is clear as night and day. I’d have to sit in relay and beg just to get a booster blessing.. and those resources I’ve had to do missions over and over to collect. Those relics that were used to obtain Revenant, you might be able to get a rad share in the recruit chat but that rad share made team is not gonna allow someone to just come in and pick off them. You even had a Dev gift you something.. that’s not normal. The streamer new player experience vs a non-streaming new player experience is not the same. Let’s get that out of the way.. I don’t think your objective of playing Warframe should be to show the new player experience, rather it should be just enjoying the game and experiencing a friendly community.
Didn’t even see the dev gift. Wth lol? It’s rare enough to see a dev just talk in a relay or something. Think I’ve seen it twice in a year. Also yeah best of luck my guy. At least the stuff like railjack and necramech was made easier to obtain.
As a 2013 veteran who's been playing longer than 90% of this stuff has even been remotely accessible, it's honestly better going through without all this excess gifting and boosts anyway. I've gone through on a fresh account twice as well (xbox around 2016 and switch 2 years ago when i didnt have my pc) and progress is not really that slow at all. Yes i had the knowledge of what to do already, but that can be had by just participating in the community. Me and tons of other vets are more than willing to lend a hand to whoever might ask. And we do give handouts just not to beggars. To someone with thousands of hours, generally speaking slots, boosters, forma, potatoes etc are so cheap and inconsequential to just gift a newer player that asks every now again
To be fair, I think most people are willing to help out other players with missions (to unlock the starchart), trying to farm certain relics, cracking them etc. But when it comes to getting boosters, skins, color palettes, potatoes and forma, those are perks for streaming ;)
nah you just have to be lucky and find an actual vet who has everything. Or if you ask for basic mods you will probably get them for free. But playing the game normally and just going through missions you aren't going to run into people who just give out stuff, you have to participate in the community in some way.
@@hachikuji_mayoi No amount of asking/begging in world chat is going to get you this amount of boosters/pallets/skins/halos/potatoes/slots. Maybe a vet is willing to give you a slot or a blessing but thats pretty much it

@@hachikuji_mayoi Hi LR4 vet that practically has everything. I don't make a habit to give people stuff. I do give out the forma and slots occasionally like I said but I don't do that for people that specifically beg.
Vets teaming up with newer players is much more frequent than being gifted anything, though even that doesn’t happen as often as you think. The key thing to learn here is that if you’re a new player that needs help with anything, simply ASK. If you don’t, then you’ll likely not get even 10% of the help displayed in these videos. Another thing to keep in mind is that you’ve been gifted a few hundred dollars worth of stuff already, even though it’s mainly cosmetic stuff. All of those boosters are overkill though, no new player would receive that much stuff, ever. With your boosters you’re essentially getting four times the drops (yes, I know it’s not actually four times, I’ve taken Statistics). Unfortunately, new players will see these videos and mentally anticipate receiving even a 1/4 of that, even if they don’t acknowledge it themselves. I’m not saying any of this to hate on the experience or to tell you to stop receiving gifts, I’m just saying what a new player sees in these videos won’t be nearly as close to what they see when playing the game themselves.
Yeah I think it's disingenuous for him to claim this is representative of the new player experience when most new players do not get gifted warframe/weaapon slots, potatoes and colour palettes often. Not to say it doesn't happen, but the RATE of gifts displayed by his streams is so far removed from what it actually is in reality. Veterans will help noobies get through the star chart and drop a few free prime parts, but that's it. Expecting the community to do anything more is a recipe for disappointment.
@CelestialDraconis in his defense tho he probably doesn't know that, I don't think he's actively trying to mislead people it's just that constant gifts and boosters is the new player experience he's had and therefore thinks that's what the average new player experience is when in reality the average new player has never received a single gift. Disingenuous is harsh.
@YISP7 That’s what I’m saying here, just in a "nicer" way xD Edit: In all honesty, the time gating with crafting things is the worst in the whole game. It shouldn’t take more than 24 hours to build anything, and even then, 24 hours? Really? That’s too long.
@drakami388 He's a streamer with a fairly sizable following and doesn't anticipate getting tons of gifts that a regular noobie otherwise wouldn't get? Don't BS me.
@@CelestialDraconis It’s not that. I think his point was that he doesn’t actually know how many gifts new players do or don’t get since all he ever hears is “Yeah, the community is really friendly towards new players and willing to help and give them stuff.”
A piece of fashion advice: the accents are almost always the metallics on frames and gear. Sometimes they will have metallics on more sections than just the accents or they don’t have any metallics at all, but generally if you want any gold/silver/bronze/metallic other colors, you put that on the accents
The reason people 'warned' you about revenant is he has a defensive ability that makes you practically immortal and its very easy to recast and set back up, so it can make him boring. In addition his first ability isn't very good when playing with others so he ends up just being a damage avoidance tank. Hes a good frame though.
A lot of people have a hate boner for him because "easy" but I think its a good frame for Story stuff, the relative invincibility lets you take in more of the scenery and story because you don't really need to pay attention to your health. For Non-story i think the other frames are just more fun although I do like bringing him to new game modes so i can figure out what is happening, most recently i did this for Alchemy because i read the description and was like ".....what?". There is also a section of the community with disabilities that enjoy Revenant because you don't need to push 5 buttons per second to manage your survival, I can see him overall being in a good place as a Easy mode Tank.
You can change the FOV from the graphics settings menu Mactics .. Try it out .. gives you more vision .. And you can wear anything you want. it won't block the view .. Options > Video > Field Of View > Max it out to 90 ..
btw if you get your first prime, go into the Void and jump at a "deathorb" or how they are called, if you have a prime frame it will give you about 200 energy for free, at every orb
As a Warframe vet (playing since 2013), yes, the idea is to help those just starting their journey (and even those well into their journey). The problem that comes from being a streamer, is that those who have played the game, try to steer you away from things they personally didn't like, without taking into consideration that your experience is vastly different from theirs. That you will want to experience it yourself to judge whether or not you like it. As my personal rule of thumb; you should avoid taking advice from others that try to persuade you to avoid things. Always seek to experience things for yourself first to decide if you like it or not.

You are definetly not having the average new player experience, with all the gifts, gudiance and answers from chat. However i think a new player would learn a lot from whatching this because all the times where chat saved you from making common mistakes and guiding you/telling you how to obtain your goals.

I followed that guide heavily until I got to a place where I could learn on my own. At the start I got gifted 10+ warframe and 25+ weapon slots from someone in my clan, which actually allowed me to stick with the game. Warframe and weapon slots are so integral to a new player.
19:47 “one piece away from getting it completely on my own”… After getting multiple relic booster packs from stream😂😂😂. In all seriousness, genuinely enjoyed watching how much fun you are having with this game!
You were definitely on the money with generally accepted gifts being cosmetics and base gameplay stuff (like potatoes and slots), but relics do kinda fall on the border. While relics in general are easy to get, getting specific relics is an actual farm, so by being gifted them or large quantities of relic packs, you skip out on a part of the gameplay experience. I say it's on the border, cause whether relic grinding is an important experience or not is something a lot of people have differing opinions on.
To be fair, you can buy the packs from your sindicates, so if you're doing one mission a day with enough xp to max out syndicate standing, then you can get yourself a couple of relic packs by the end of the week, without having farmed much
Even cosmetics feel out cause even has a new player you have to farm that platinun for that cosmeti. Sure you can buy playinum but has a new player your most likely to farm it and it takes a long time more since you dont have that many trades a day
@@omega-xis7760 Only if Fashion frame is your end game. It doesn't effect your gameplay like a new frame or weapon does. Also no matter how much you farm you will never be able to buy TennoGen stuff. As long as the bundles dont come with the frames themselves its generally fine.
Relics are usually a grind to get together, the community is very much so helping to fast track you to the better parts of the game. Most new players can only get one or two new warframes to use because they only have enough plat for one slot, or sometimes not even that. You can get plat from selling prime parts which any new player can do around about when they get to jupiter, but it does take a minute and you have to kinda understand how player trading works.
Of course, you can't get the same experience as the average player, because a lot of things that are sent to you, as well as help from the others, speeds up the whole process, which could take dozens or even hundreds of hours of farming, self-study of everything and other things. However, I do not consider it something bad, because the main thing in this game is to have fun, and with farming and everything else you will face anyway
Its great to see you having to much fun. On the note of the "new player experience" and how vets play into it. You're experience is entirely different than it will be for 99% of people. Most folks might get carried through a few missions, but they will not be getting this vast amount of free stuff you're getting. Its just not the case, you can keep doing it however you want. But to expect other new players to have the same experience you did is just wrong.
@@theassassin2514 its not. The Warframe community is very helpful, but they are definitely not "gifting you 100 day booster and slots worth hundreds of dollars to every new player who just asks"-helpful. There is nothing wrong with taking those "streamer benefits" but not acknowledging that this is definitely far from the "average new player experience" while his whole chat is telling him what to do next and gifting him stuff would be arsine
Just to clarify I'm not hating nor critizing you, I enjoy watching you play and your commentary and it's great people gift you stuff and explain everything you ask. However, new player experience is usually no help, no gifts or have anyone to explain stuff to them, that's what drives most people away, but for you that isn't an issue since you are not an average player.
The new player experience when more experienced people go get you the cool stuff only applies when you are a streamer/ youtuber. I had to figure things out on my own and youtube videos, rarely anyone helped me when i asked. I created a new acc on pc, the same thing happened.

The only reason I can think of why chat might not have been too happy with your community-funded Revenant Prime is because in normal public missions you would be called a leech for it. Not enough relics, not the right relics, no void traces. (The relic packs helped, but they were bought by other people with their platinum.) Still happy for you though, as it takes me around 20-40h solo to get a full Prime frame from zero.
Even us we don't let friends leech. If they don't have a relic, we spam Ukko and Hepit for Lith, Meso, and Neo respectively till we get the relics or share at least 1 or 2 so they can RAD it and we can RAD share. For Axi, we actually do disruption on Lua. We never really let anybody go in with a random relic unless were getting lazy at the end of the run and not getting the rare part or uncommon part and like 3 of us have 1 of each and the 4th just runs out.
@@shutit7949 My procedure is: - Farm all relics solo. So 20h just opening relics is not unrealistic. Especially because it takes 10-15mins to fill a Radshare if you don't do them instantly when the PA releases. 11:35 While yes, veterans like helping new players, the fact that you are getting gifted things like forma, potatoes, warframe slots, and weapon slots has made your new player experience totally different to a non streamers new player experience. like a new player won't have enough warframe slots for all the frames you have building atm and will have to figure out how to get more slots, which is via night wave aka the battle pass, which you can only get one of per pass or buying with platinum, which will push you into trading, which again will be easier for you because you stream. chat will buy stuff from you even if they don't actually need the thing and may even pay more than the thing is worth simply because they wanna help you, the streamer, not you, the new player. It's a kind of paradox of the new player experience that the worst people to assess the new player experience are the very people that bring the most attention to the new player experience Warframes' longest running youtuber brozime does a free to play every year or so for new players where he doesn't accept gifts, and he looks up trading prices on the warframe market app to make sure his trading is a close as possible to a new players

curated streamer experience at best. no new player is regularly gifted slots, potatoes, and boosters. even if alot of people do gift like that, not everyone is gonna be reached and so those new players must take the chance they might happen to get some cool people to give them stuff or be realistic and expect to grind out nightwave for potatos, wait at relays for boosters that last 30 mins, or farm plat something new players can only do a little of. they have to sell prime junk for little plat, and their mastery rank says "oh you get only this many trades for the day, you can't trade anymore." i respect the grind you do for warframes without receiving new ones from chat. i do think fissure taxi isn't that bad, so it's not too much of a problem. play the game how you want, but if you really think this shows what the typical new player experience is. sadly, it's not

Hydron usually needs 15~20 waves which is like 20 minutes each to max out anything. ESO specifically takes two and a half minutes to max out stuff. Seeing dozens of comments about how “this isn’t the new player experience” or “I wasn’t gifted x so you should have to EARN it too.” Gifts were always going to be inevitable as a streamer but it seems like he’s genuinely having a fun time and trying to learn about the game as he goes, and that’s what matters.
Youre not really understanding the issue at all. Him getting gifts isnt the issue. Him claiming hes trying to show new people the new player experience is the issue.
I've been playing Warframe on and off for a while, mostly repeating stuff I know cause learning this game is daunting. Watching you has inspired me to play it a bit more seriously, learning more and stuff.
As far as new player stuff goes, im in no Warframe Discords or anything like that. In my time playing i have personally helped randoms get prime parts from playing public relic missions and having them ask the squad if we have relics with certain parts they are looking for. Most times people ask, ive seen at least one person oblige. You are at an advantage as a streamer and content creator, but if your discord and community in warframe is going to be dedicated to bridging the gap between vets and new tenno, who cares. Sometimes people get buffs, sometimes people get boosters. In normal play? Its rare and kinda relay luck based. If you are fostering a community dedicated to raising the tide for all ships, then who cares what youre grinding for? What matters is fostering the community into being better for all, which from what ive seen is all you are doing for warframe as a new player.
I love watching your journey through warframe and seeing how much you're enjoying it. Can't wait for the day you get into the end game. Will be awesome to one day run with you through some missions and stuff.
For a normal beginner player who is also starting to collect prime parts, you don't have the utility to call on viewers to team up farming specific parts. That searching time takes up minutes to hours or even days to find a full team to farm specific parts. Depends on the rarity of the parts. But then again, thats part of the fun lol. Edit: oh, also, farming the relics, especially new relics, would take you days to farm. Or if you have enough standing, you can buy relic packs, unlike gifts, which are free at the cost of the giver. On a realistic new player experience, its harder to start farming specific frames, unless, you've reached near end game status.
Been watching you for a while for your Destiny build videos, even though I am now a retired Guardian. Glad to see you enjoying Warframe as it's one of my most played games atm. Good luck on your adventure Tenno
The joy when that gold piece you need drops from a relic is a great feeling. glad you got to experience that joy fairly early on in your time playing the game!
The only strong rule in the community is that you go through the story unspoiled. Gifts and stuff is fine, but I do get that the community isn't 100% about it because it gives players the illusion that the game is easy. Outside of that, love seeing you enjoy the game and inspire others to hop in as well.
Must be nice getting BOMBARDED with relic packs lmaoo. No hate at all, you’re a streamer ofc ur gonna get tons of gifts from fans. Loving this series so far, nice to see a new player getting into the game. Warframe is a dope experience
Just want to say few things, to you and the new player that discovering Warframe here : - No rule about what you want to do. It's the base of Warframe : You do whatever you want to do as a new player. Just for the spoilers Mactics, don't forget to put on the streamer mode in the settings. The game will hide your email at the log page, and hide the spoilers that can be see in some missions (where there is some event that happened only if you through some quests). - Even if Warframe community is a kind community, most part of the time, it's not like you are living your experience. I started alone, no clan, no friends with to play. Nobody gave me anything, and that's ok. I encounter some issues, with people and that's also ok, everybody can't be always chill and cool. I just want you people, to be aware that this type of things exist. And as for you Mactics, that you have a community, and you're not a random new player. - I recommend to have the curiosity of asking on the tchat in game tips and help. Or to go watch Warframe youtubers who make tutos. Because Warframe is really rich of gameplay, mechanics, and as a new player, it can be frustrating, because often you will get to a "w*f happened, and I don't understand how" phase. That's why Warframe is hard for beginners. Even in the endgame, I kept rely on Warframe Wiki or videos, to do farm of one item I want.
@@wdsailer3 months or years is a stretch, more like weeks if you watch two vids on how to trade plat. But he is getting hella gifts then saying “new player experience” which is just false
Revenant prime is "boring" because of his Mesmer skin which makes you actually invincible as in you indefinitely negate damage. even true damage cant kill you as you cant go below 2 HP with it active.
I can recommend switching tabs at the foundry, will make looking through the items better. They are the symbols directly under the FOUNDRY text. Appreciate your videos Mactics, they have been fun to watch!
I doubt you’ll see this but, change your field of view to max in settings. Make it a lot easier to see when aiming in with that shoulder pad setup. Glad you’re having a good time man.

As a Rhino Main, He's insanely strong His charge is kinda eh for new players, but you can make it give you even more overguard when you get further in the game Near Infinite Overguard, Immune to almost all status effects while its active and the ability to gain millions of HP in Overguard in seconds that will last you through even the hardest activities Roar is crazy good damage buff that lasts for crazy amounts of time, think around +150% for 30 seconds Stomp is one of the strongest CC abilities in the game and partially ignores enemy CC resistance Highly recommend building for Ability Strength and Armor, Throw on a Equilibrium and Flow mod and you should be good for the entire base star chart
Been playing this game for about 8 years now and still enjoy playing it. I also created my own dojo and I will give you fair warning that it is a HUGE resource sink to take on solo. every single room you craft cost a forma + other resources + 24 build time, you need to make sure you have space (plan carefully as there is a lot of rooms) and power for each room, the teck rooms you craft that have blueprints you can buy, They will all need to be researched before they can be purchased and on top of all that most blueprints from the dojo require forma + other resources to craft. Forma, Forma, FORMA!! dojo's eat them up like candy. I think i sank well over 200 forma into mine so far, decorated up the wazoo and still feel that my dojo is not showcase worthy yet, even after 8 years of working on it.. let that sink into perspective for ya. Keep it up tho, with people gifting you as much stuff as they do it might not take you as long as it did for me to build from the ground up. However the dojo can give as much as you put into it, decorating a dojo room can turn into a beautiful work of art if done with care, however keep in mind that should you decide to expand the clan size limit it will INCREASE the cost of EVERYTHING you build and even research there after within the dojo, so I would not expand your dojo size beyond what you need till you have most of your dojo set up how you want it so it wont cost you a fortune in resource's later if you end up with members that don't contribute and just join to mooch the easy dojo blueprints. the meme's and community say that fashion frame is warframes end game, As a 8 year veteran I have to disagree as skins can be gifted or purchased with plat as soon as you unlock the market in your orbiter so is that really end game when you have more drip at MR4 then most players at MR20+?, That is a solid NO from me. I feel Dojo's are the true end game IMO, they are by far the biggest and most rewarding resources sink in the game and i wish you the best of luck on yours and look forward to seeing how you set it up.
You did not grind for your first prime Warframe to be clear. You got gifted 500-1000 relics, consistently not upgrading your relics and get radiant relics through your audience. This is not grinding; this is a carry. Glad you're having fun but what you say is contradictory to what your actually doing
Kinda hypocritical to say this is the every new warframe experience when I can barely get someone to help me on a basic mission while this man gets gifted relics is crazyyyyy…
its definitely not the average new player experience at all with the amount of reactors and slots he is gifted, definitely going to give players who start the game from these vids the wrong idea
11:28 No absolutely not. Yes the community is friendly and helpful...but suggesting that it's a normal new player experience to be constantly gifted colour palettes, affinity boosters, resource boosters and cosmetics is just so far off of the mark. You are not experiencing the game like a new player does....and that's fine, the vast majority of the community knows some of the game can be a pain and will offer to help people and not care if you are a low level scrub joining a high level mission. But no...it is not normal for people to spend real money to help you....trying to pretend that's the normal new player experience is delusional. That's the streamer experience. A regular new player would have none of these skins and cosmetics and would not be enjoying the varied customisation the game offers or be having as easy a ride with having lots of Warframe slots, potatoes and forma. It's totally fine to experience the game like you are...but a regular player experience it is not. You want to talk about the unspoken rules of warframe? One of them is "Don't be a streamer being gifted loads of stuff and then try to act like you aren't being gifted loads of stuff." Thank your viewers for boosting you and acknowledge that you are....or refuse to be boosted. Don't get boosted them pretend like that's normal.
The feeling of acquiring your first prime weapon and Warframe is such a prestigious feeling. I’m happy to say that for most players the feeling of acquiring a new prime even to this day is still fantastic.
I think Prime Farming is an excellent showcase of how the community assists eachother and new players. I would say as an asterisk, it is considered courtesy to bring a Relic that matches your party's to contribute to the loot pool. Because you're a content creator, you're getting a bit more leeway than randoms might typically give (but only a little bit). But that's an acceptable compromise for the sake of showcase ^.^
I’m glad the majority of us can clearly agree that this is the new player experience of a streamer who has a lot of kind viewers and not just someone learning the game. Overall the experience is similar but nobody should expect to be gifted skins or boosters or relic packs. Still I’m hyped that you got/are getting revenant prime because he just left rotation along with his weapons. He is fun, but down the line he falls off to just be someone who can’t die.
GGs on Revenant Prime set! 🎉 I know it will be a beast! Another thing to consider while you’re working on the star chart, hidden loot rooms on every planet node. Especially in the void and spy missions. Technically every one. Keep an eye out! ❤
Always a treat seeing someone new to the game get their first prime frame. Just remember, primes coming as a totally different frame in the eyes of the mastery system; even if you completely level Rev prime you still need to max out his base to get the mastery for each one individually
I absolutely love seeing someone going after rev prime as a rev main myself (in apex and warframe lol) ive seen that in your streams that videos are very behind so I hope to see your reaction to using rev in the future
Definitely not the average player experience. The average player experience is being lost at this game with no direction, quit and then come back again, broke with credit, zero fashion, have zero idea what mod to use, what is endo? Spend your plats to early and regret it, zero color pallets. Being playing since 2017 and he even got more colors pallets than I do, had zero idea boosters was a thing and didn’t even kn you can go somewhere to beg for it and bro already got multiple boosters lol apart from the one gifted by ordis, got free orinkin reactors and will most likely never have to worry about it ever lol bro gets showerd with gift almost every mission he comes back from. But says this is the average player experience is freaking cap 🧢 This is far from the average player experience very far from it. Now players helping you grind and get weapon and loot is the players experience not gifting.
You’ve made me pick up this game again and love watching your progress! The only thing I’d say is you’re getting all these skins, extra slots etc as gifts as you’re a streamer. How does a regular player get all this without paying? Genuine question
You are not having the normal new player experience. You log in and get bombarded with a huge number of random gifts from your viewers. I log in, and have exactly no gifts waiting for me. The viewers are sticking with cosmetics and boosters, which is nice, but those of us who don't stream and have huge viewerbases don't get bombarded with gifts of any sort. It's definitely nice that you're bringing attention to Warframe, but please realize that you being a streamer gives you an advantage that most players don't have.
This sounds like a guy who was just mad that he gets stuff free even though he also grinds and works hard for the stuff he has in the game sooooooo salty
Rhino is ridiculously powerful for the stage of the game he becomes available at, and that can throw a lot of new players off. My solution for this is to use him as a failsafe for content you're finding difficult with other frames, like bosses or missions that are a little out of your level range. (Or just use him however you want! It's Warframe after all.)
A new player experience i had farming for gauss: went hella long on a mission enemies were lvl 100 when me and this other guy i was running with decided to bow out. I needed neuroptics and that was it but I couldn’t get it to drop. He messaged me saying don’t worry you’ll definitely get it, then gifted me the frame the next day. I think that is a good new player experience. Trying to get what you want and if rng doesn’t bless you, a Tenno chad will
Been loving this series and the energy in it. While its true that getting gifted a ton of stuff isnt the commonnplay experience, neither is playing for an audience of hundreds or even thousands of people. While that eliminates some of the grind, you would still be playing with the same basic mechanics. Honestly the biggest hack youre getting is moment to moment explanations of the mod system, which you normally have to watch deep dive videos on in order to grok. Ignore the complaints and keep showing off what Warframe has to offer: engaging gameplay, powerful story, and a solid, welcoming community.
the thing is vet are afraid of spoiling baby tennos and need to restrain themself soooo much to not use some gameplay you did not unlock or nuke the whole map to let you play

Absolutely agree! New players, seeing how easily he achieves everything, might think it will be the same for them, but then they might face disappointment when they realize how hard it is to achieve everything on their own.

As a WF Vet (2013), there were a few things most fellow Vets from my old Clans agreed on that we do for newbies.
- Weekly Plat Giveaways (this only works if you have Plat Goblins in the Clan)
- Ignis Wraith Giveaway (you can expect this from any Vet back in the day, just ask for it in World Chat)
- Boosting and Taxiing (I used to do this for 3-hours a day back when I was REALLY, REALLY into the game)
- Targeted Relic Farming and Cracking (I used to do this whenever there isn't anyone asking for boosts)
- Eidolon Carries (I didn't do this.. not exactly.. I was the group Trin back when the runs weren't optimized yet)
- Fashion Critique (I did this... a lot... too much sometimes)

The streamer new player experience vs a non-streaming new player experience is not the same. Let’s get that out of the way..

@YISP7 That’s what I’m saying here, just in a "nicer" way xD
Edit: In all honesty, the time gating with crafting things is the worst in the whole game.

To be fair, you can buy the packs from your sindicates, so if you're doing one mission a day with enough xp to max out syndicate standing, then you can get yourself a couple of relic packs by the end of the week, without having farmed much
I would say sharing relics is okay but being gifted the relic packs is a no no
Even cosmetics feel out cause even has a new player you have to farm that platinun for that cosmeti.
@@Nanoqtran i want to look good early not at the end and yeah not tennogen but you can still buy some for plat
I'm LOVING this series. Makes me feel like I'm the one playing the game for the very first time
Of course, you can't get the same experience as the average player, because a lot of things that are sent to you, as well as help from the others, speeds up the whole process, which could take dozens or even hundreds of hours of farming, self-study of everything and other things.
I wish getting hundreds of gifts in this game was the normal player experience…
It is, just ask I’ve gotta most stuff sometimes by just asking trade chat for stuff
Most new players aren’t getting the RUclipsr/streamer experience

Welcome, Tenno.
I just found your channel 2 days ago and I am loving your warframe videos! As an MR27 who is almost at 400 hours now its so much fun reminiscing about when I first started my warframe journey
The only reason I can think of why chat might not have been too happy with your community-funded Revenant Prime is because in normal public missions you would be called a leech for it.
Not enough relics, not the right relics, no void traces.
(The relic packs helped, but they were bought by other people with their platinum.)
Still happy for you though, as it takes me around 20-40h solo to get a full Prime frame from zero.
20-40 hrs? Ur extremely unlucky lmao. Also why are u opening relics on ur own? That's pretty dumb
@@shutit7949
My procedure is:
- Farm all relics solo. Either Void Capture, Syndicate Relic Packs or Disruptioni
- Open all Common Drops alone
- Open most Uncommon Drops alone
- Open all Rare Drops in Radshare
- Farming additional Fissures for Void Traces
Just getting and opening the Relics in the last Prime Access averages to 15h depending on my sheet. So 20h just opening relics is not unrealistic. Especially because it takes 10-15mins to fill a Radshare if you don't do them instantly when the PA releases.
Then add a few hours of Trace Farming, some bad luck and back 30h.
Wish my new player experience was as good as this guy. Still tho, as a vet of 8 years, I'm glad your having fun. Not gonna say i dont give free stuff or dont help out, but at the same time, your getting more help than most new players would get. Still tho, keep grinding, brotha. 8:20 I cannot believe you figured that out on your own. I've met MR30+ Rhino mains who had no idea that's how it works. Brilliant observational skills on your part.
Something to note though, it's not "how many times you get shot" but rather, how much damage you take. So the higher level you go, and the more damage the enemies deal, the more Overguard you can get. Excellent survivability.

This has quickly become my favourite 'New Tenno playthrough'. Loving the journey, and the Fashionframe is on point. And yes, most Vets enjoy nothing more than helping new Tenno in their journey. #endgame
It's a kind of paradox of the new player experience that the worst people to assess the new player experience are the very people that bring the most attention to the new player experience
Warframes' longest running youtuber brozime does a free to play every year or so for new players where he doesn't accept gifts, and he looks up trading prices on the warframe market app to make sure his trading is a close as possible to a new players
its hilarious because every time i watch your videos im just like 1-2 hours ahead of you gameplay wise, and youll figure something out and ill be like oh i figured that out yesterday. its super fun

curated streamer experience at best. no new player is regularly gifted slots, potatoes, and boosters. even if alot of people do gift like that, not everyone is gonna be reached and so those new players must take the chance they might happen to get some cool people to give them stuff or be realistic and expect to grind out nightwave for potatos, wait at relays for boosters that last 30 mins, or farm plat something new players can only do a little of. they have to sell prime junk for little plat, and their mastery rank says "oh you get only this many trades for the day, you can't trade anymore." i respect the grind you do for warframes without receiving new ones from chat. i do think fissure taxi isn't that bad, so it's not too much of a problem. play the game how you want, but if you really think this shows what the typical new player experience is. sadly, it's not

yeah, but you are constantly getting 5 new gifts from people after every mission
Usually, people don't just give out boosters, slots and potatoes for baby Tennos, it's a content creator privilege. And they can definitely give you frames, but it's best to avoid claiming those because it disrupts the experience. There are a few unspoken rules when it comes to Warframe (Don't Limbo in teams, Learn parkour, don't waste time unnecessarily etc.) but the biggest one is "no quest spoilers for noobies".

A new clan in 2024? That's gonna be rough. 14:51 Hydron best EXP Farm? Never was, it was Sanctuary Onslaught or Elite Sanctuary Onslaught. You can literally get everything to max with in 1~2 rounds of ESO or SO especially with an exp booster. Hydron hasn't been a good exp farm map since Sanctuary Onslaught became a thing. Hydron usually needs 15~20 waves which is like 20 minutes each to max out anything. ESO specifically takes two and a half minutes to max out stuff. I know this because during the time we had a good map in ESO during the Christmas break last year, I had so much weapons that I grinded for that week that I went from MR28 to LR3. I was doing 1 Mastery Rank a day during that time.

Just want to say few things, to you and the new player that discovering Warframe here :
- No rule about what you want to do.
Even in the endgame, I kept rely on Warframe Wiki or videos, to do farm of one item I want.
love watching these and see him mentally put things together 😄

I’m happy to say that for most players the feeling of acquiring a new prime even to this day is still fantastic.
imo getting gifted stuff like orokin catalysts/reactors is kinda cheap
Dude, grind anything you want, the community is what the game is about.

You said something about showing new player experience but you’d isn’t the typical one
Always a treat seeing someone new to the game get their first prime frame. Just remember, primes coming as a totally different frame in the eyes of the mastery system; even if you completely level Rev prime you still need to max out his base to get the mastery for each one individually
So people can just gift him everything? What’s the point of even playing lol

Rhino is ridiculously powerful for the stage of the game he becomes available at, and that can throw a lot of new players off. Been loving this series and the energy in it. While its true that getting gifted a ton of stuff isnt the commonnplay experience, neither is playing for an audience of hundreds or even thousands of people.
