Yeah Kull's been my main since I got him, and I subsumed his 1 onto all my melee frames. He's the de facto main boy for all heavy attack weapons and it's not even close. He can make any melee good though, but I like using him with Syam to get an extra shockwave to hit enemies a mile away every time you press 1. The best part about him is that unlike other overpowered frames that play the game for you, Kull is actually really fun to play and has somewhat of a skill cieling. Sure any idiot can press 3-4-1 and kill everything in the room but to get the most out of his kit it takes a bit more. It's not just standing and doing nothing like most powerful frames.
Also in my opinion a top tier index frame, you can just cast his two a few times at the very start of the mission and then not have to worry about dying unlike say revenant who can sometime have issues with energy, also buffs the cerata which is already one of the best index weapons for beginners especially
For the raw damage build I still enjoy putting nourish over his 4th and going to the moon with strength. I'll always go with 200% at base for using collective curse and plainly using just energy nexus and 2 blue shards for energy.
I did the same. Dropped Efficiency to 45% with blind rage, and used nourish and zenurik for energy. I would personally swap those 2 blue shards for a single yellow set to energy orb efficiency, since that multiplies with Nourish. Each energy orb, with zenurik and a yellow shard, will give over 200 energy each.
Thank you for demonstrating this! When I completed the star chart I thought I could stroll into SP. But found I got my butt handed to me by the weakest enemies. I've recently acquired Kullervo, and now that I know he can do this I will be attempting SP again! Thanks!
You didn't even mention that Storm of Ukko and to a lesser extent Recompense actually builds your combo, so his combo is so comfy with that much range on his 4. You can just watch it stack upnto max in seconds with no imput.
generally kullevero inpurt inverting his casts makes the teleport aspect muuuuucbh smoother beware of delay when casting recompense and then trying to advance. the two can conflict with enough enemies in range(4) (3 daggers per enemy 10 daggers) can spam recompense with any less have to sit through animation which is where he vulnerable (jump to operator to egate the heal;th penalty amd wait it out)
For anyone wondering, switching Streamline for his new augment Wrath of Ukko has been working well for me. Same build, same idea, just more uptime on red crits and the ability to reposition Storm of Ukko for only 25 energy, as opposed to 100. Umbra Forma is also unnecessary (I'll wait for Kullervo Prime...!), just Forma the other slots more with normal Forma.
I'm going to give this build a go. I haven't had much time to play Kullervo so I have had no idea on where to begin modding him. As for the new player build working so well... The Archon Shards kind of make me go: 🤔 you sure the archon shards aren't making this build overperform? Edit: Nevermind youtube crashed and the vid reloaded at the very minute you explaining the shards. I retract my comment. 😂
Hi Brozime, new player here - I need Kullervo in my life so im rushing Duviri right now and would love that Kullervo farm guide with his crafting components 😭🔥
Using the Azothane on Kulervo, now you're on my wavelength. Try the Nami Solo Incarnon, too. It's a bit harder to crank crit damage on it, but the huge range and the multi hit spinning machete heavy attack synergize with the way Kullervo works. Machete stances even have some forced slash procs. It's easily one of his best weapons, especially if you can get a crit damage riven for it.
I subsumed warcry over his 4th with the eternal war augment, use tennokai on his melee and just spam 1 on tennokai while you infinitely have warcry refreshing and his 1 active. Then you can room clear by using collective curse and target a light enemy using his 1. INSANE DPS. Not to mention having 5 red melee crit damage shards just to make your damage ridiculous bc why not.
I wonder if full Umbral is the way to go now with Arcane Battery. Gets more energy than Primed Flow, frees up a mod slot in exchange for an arcane slot. Having armor feels more comfortable than being entirely dependent on spamming 2 to stay alive under fire.
Good to see I'm not the only one using some defensive armor mods for kullervo I also use adaptation since you can porc it and build it up while using overguard i rock enough armor mods to bring up my armor to a total of a little over 2K and three red archon shards and two blue for a healing Factor an overall my ability strength is a total of 230% in all honesty though this type of Warframe you could kind of build however you want and he'll still get shit done on almost any level
Just watching this after watching several Sevagoth videos and sobbing at the investment and difficulty (and time spent) of acquisition difference. Between Dante, Kullervo, and one of the worst offenders JADE, it seems Sevagoth's capacity problems are so starkly contrasting with today's frames.
Personally i still use KF's nourish build, over his 1 to nuke with his 4, insane build, and praedos works just fine for heavy attacks and movement, his 2 and 4 building combo also is just the incarnon form for free.
I don’t like recompense so I use guardian and grace and helminth his two for breach surge and use rage for energy. Surge can blind for survivability when needed and add damage from his falling knives for passive damage. His 1 and a 2H Nikana is great for Hvt’s and his three clears hallways. One of my favorite frames.
I subsumed his first ability with tharros strike, i like the armor strip and most of them all have fairly good synergize, ive been running my build for months and its been goong great for steel path
Came back to the game recently and finally got caught up enough to finally level Kullervo and HO. LEE. SHIT. I imagine there's some hilarious melee options for him (Melee Influence Xoris? 🤔😂) but I put the Hate Incarnon on him and it's just endless red crits. Was thinking I'd have to put more brain power into getting through Steel Path, but apparently not when you just decimate everything. Downside is he does feel like a glass cannon and can still get one shot instantly given how overguard works, but that's a fine tradeoff for seeing millions upon millions of damage on screen.
you'll gain a lot more EHP from guardian than arcane blessing, and guardian can now proc when your overguard takes damage so you wont have issues with uptime on it.
You honestly need neither. You don't need extra defense from arcanes. His 2 alone gives him such enormous overguard shields, you shouldn't need anything else. My Kullervo runs over 30k overguard, and uses absolutely nothing else for defense. No health, no armor, no arcanes, no adaptation. Nothing but a stupidly big overguard shield that never breaks.
FOR THOSE THAT ARE SLEEPING ON FARMING KULLERVO CUS DUVIRI:}I slept on his farm for a while and it was all due to my lack of familiarity with rogue lite games or that thing, BUT the grind is fairly reasonable and it can be really fun if you plan ahead using your decrees to ma your experience. For the waymag, is not that hard, just stroll about on the island and destroy them cacti, resource boosters help a lot and even better if you do it on the steelpath. Duviri is very chill after you get some decrees and have a decent set of buffs, so focus on getting some decrees by doing small activities like playing against the rabbit or fishing, to win them without fighting enemies. Eventually you will get cool buffs that will make fighting the daxguys a lot easier. oh and the puzzles are very fun to solve so try those as well cus everything that drops in there is useful and you will eventually need those resources to build incarnon adapters and such so ye. TLDR dont sleep on him and get him asap cus is a very cool frame to play
Have him with max power, nourish on his 4 and with a rivened Hate and a bit priming he regularly hits the -2 billion damage cap (5 purple shards etc), very addicting. But overguard gets eaten up at higher levels so fast, its really spammy. Your build brings energy problems when a leech is around even with death cube, was a bit stressful in sp mot, would add equilibrium or something.
Hey man, not sure if you check comments on old videos, im a brand new player and following your video. I have 2 questions for ur endgame setup for understanding. 1: how are you building combo with just using heavy attacks?- I have corrupt charge? / 2: What is your source for energy regen? Theese 2 points I dont quite understand from your video. Great video man!
wraith of ukko adds to combo. its why its there in a sense if u have 5x mobs in the circle 5 combo per second and if they are all linked i think its 25 combo per second. also recompense adds to combo pretty sure zenurik focus tree is for energy.
Speaking of bad luck getting the stance to drop, I finally gave up and traded for it after not getting it after ~8 hours of farming. I am a statistical anomaly.
@@TheCleverJoker I mean if it has another affect like increases power strength for the ability at same time then yeah I could see it being a more worthy mod slot pick
Would love that farming guide. I'm a veteran Founder but I recently came back to the game after a long break and Duvuri is one of those things I've barely touched, outside of the Circuit to get Incarnon weapons so I have no idea how Kullervo works.
Yeah, right now what was revealed in the lore fragments is a lot of setup without payoff, and because of the timey wimey nature of the update it does make sense to wait until we have the 'whole picture' so to speak. At least a better idea of the timeline of 1999, as we know for certain Albrecht went back further than December 31st 1999, but don't exactly know when or the timescale for the events of 1999.
I'm gonna get my brother to download him this trade him everything for quote "poverty kullervo" then tell him he's good I'll let him go like a bird that was injured
I wish you would have shown the ceramic dagger build, since there really isn’t a ceramic dagger build that I could find on RUclips. Also hate is a beast of a melee weapon on him if u have the I car on but I get you were trying to show a new player build
For ceramic dagger you want Blood Rush, Sacrificial Steel, Condition Overload and Primed Pressure Point, all the crit damage, Killing Blow and a bane mod. All the starting combo evolutions, and final evolution is the pure crit one.
Can I get an explanation as to why we run Corrupt Charge on a weapon when using Kullervo? The guy has Storm of Ukko which practically guarantees you're always at x12 combo, so what's the point in starting just a little higher at the cost of a losing combo duration, surely any other mod would work better there, like a Smite mod? Also, what is Hunter Adrenaline really doing when you have Overguard up 24/7?
In the budget build, Hunter Adrenaline allows you to get that overguard and other abilities online if energy orbs aren't playing nice. Corrupt Charge in the Azothane build is more of a 'generic' Azothane setup that works really nice with Kullervo, and Brozime even says there are more meta choices for the frame.
@@StarfieldDisarray I do. The value they offer from a single slot is worth the fuss, and it's easy to swap between loadouts for different factions. Especially on your melees with forced slash procs, matching the bane mods means slash procs doing nearly triple the damage. And with Melee Influence, that modifier is getting added THREE TIMES to nearby enemies. That's, like, well over four times the damage from your electricity procs being passed around.
I want to try the two-handed nikanas since I've never really used one, especially on a frame like Kullervo. Do you recommend Azothane over Tatsu Prime for someone who is high enough MR to get any of them?
Honestly, every 2 handed Nikana except maybe regular Tatsu is a powerhouse. Tenet Livia at +60% whatever element you like best is also exceptional but a pain to farm, and Pennant is capable of stacking crazy speed buffs but takes quite a bit of setup to get going and the low slash on it DOES matter even if heavy attack force procs. Azothane is quick, hits hard and looks fancy as hell out the box, and has zero mastery requirement. It's hard not to recommend it.
I am a noob trying to put this build together. How is your combo duration 10s on Azothane? When I put corrupt charge on it goes down to 2.5s. Is this just a visual bug or have there been changes since this video dropped? Also is 2.5s combo duration enough or does it not matter? Thanks for any help in advance.
I have a question that doesn't relate to the video in the slightest. Does the crimson shards melee crit damage work with vorunas ulfruns decent. Unfruns is considered melee damage but is not considered a melee wepon, so i have no clue if the shard actually applies to it or not since the shard doesn't specify melee wepon just melee.
I dont know about voruna and im a returning player still learning abunch of the shard stuff. But i want to say if it counts as a exalted weapon it should get affected unless they changed something. But i might be wrong.
@nitro5202 ulfruns is not an exalted wepon, its not considered a weapon at all and is only considered melee damage so that it triggers vorunas' other ability which the devs had to change it to do.
Did I miss the part where he describes how to get Kullervo as a new or returning player? Because unless I'm missing something I don't get how this is a new player friendly frame, seems like a convoluted mess to farm him.
Kullervo you just need to do Duviri during fear, anger and sorrow which is very accessible during early game(do about two hours story and then you can start farm) and kill him at the Kullervo's hold and the Orowyrm. Repeat that and you can get him. His material are also can be get from Duviri so there's no need to farm from another planet which most new player don't unlock yet. One of a weapon that is great on him(Syam) are also from Duviri. Note that you can only access Kullervo from Kullervo hold only from the Duviri experience and for the lone story, it is RNG on whether you get the quest or not
You can skip it but in terms of added power you aren’t really going to find things he needs to be stronger for so the bulk is nice to be able to ignore enemies during all the easy weekly content or normal farms
super fun to teleport around and throw heavy attacks with a glaive lol, i inverted tap and hold for 1 since i love teleporting around xD i0m sure you've already found out by yourself but his 1 also resets the jumps you can do in mid air
really basic strat: check where each item is needed for kullervo, join duviri, grind one item, finish one mission to get a decree (to save the loot) and rinse and repeat for each item
It's extremely likely that somebody installing and playing Warframe the first time has played other video games in the past. We need to put to bed the idea that newbies need to be babied. Duviri is not some weird, overwhelming place full of mystical mechanics players cannot understand. It actually does a good job of explaining everything within it fully to old and new players.

I believe he explained on stream that he actually did try having a small segment for fashion in these build videos, but viewership in those areas took a huge dip so it’s not really worth doing
@@toagradius8856 Makes sense. I assume he doesn't get 100% watch time, and I don't think it'd take that long, but I understand. Time is money, after all...
Thank you, though. I didn't know that.
0:24 brozime saying "great" was perfectly timed with kullervos idle animation
Purple tau on Kullervo sounds tasty. If only I had spare tau reds somewhere.
Also in my opinion a top tier index frame, you can just cast his two a few times at the very start of the mission and then not have to worry about dying unlike say revenant who can sometime have issues with energy, also buffs the cerata which is already one of the best index weapons for beginners especially
I did not expect to love Kullervo as much as i did. He's amazing and he was my first frame i made Steel Path ready. He is incredible
You can just watch it stack upnto max in seconds with no imput.
generally kullevero inpurt
inverting his casts makes the teleport aspect muuuuucbh smoother
beware of delay when casting recompense and then trying to advance. the two can conflict
with enough enemies in range(4) (3 daggers per enemy 10 daggers) can spam recompense with any less have to sit through animation which is where he vulnerable (jump to operator to egate the heal;th penalty amd wait it out)
You honestly don't even need a build. I remember doing an entire archon hunt with me forgetting I was on a loadout with zero mods.
would love an update with the new augment
got him yesterday and he does not dissapoint especially with glaive prime
Edit:
Nevermind youtube crashed and the vid reloaded at the very minute you explaining the shards.
I retract my comment. 😂
The only Warframe that makes my beloved Scindo Prime useable.
Give the Hate incarnon a try on him. Hates heavies do insane damage.
I love watching the enemy become dust with his 4,3 combo
I wonder if full Umbral is the way to go now with Arcane Battery. Gets more energy than Primed Flow, frees up a mod slot in exchange for an arcane slot. Having armor feels more comfortable than being entirely dependent on spamming 2 to stay alive under fire.
kullervo has become one of my favorite warframes, I was able to (accidentally) beat an entire netracell solo with an un-moded hate incarnon EASILY
Guess I obviously need to revisit him since I wrote him off when he first came out.
Yeah he got a huge glowup when they buffed his 2, and also fixed up Overguard in general.
Nothing but a stupidly big overguard shield that never breaks.
he's very sharp.
Great video man!
wraith of ukko adds to combo. its why its there in a sense if u have 5x mobs in the circle 5 combo per second and if they are all linked i think its 25 combo per second. also recompense adds to combo
pretty sure zenurik focus tree is for energy.
Speaking of bad luck getting the stance to drop, I finally gave up and traded for it after not getting it after ~8 hours of farming. I am a statistical anomaly.
I really like using the Syam with Kullervo, it's a lot of fun.
An aug could be for recompense, "on kill: replenish X overguard while overguard is active."
Considering he can just recast his 2 this wouldn’t really be that beneficial to have to slot a mod for
@@RossKyle95 saves energy
@@TheCleverJoker I mean if it has another affect like increases power strength for the ability at same time then yeah I could see it being a more worthy mod slot pick
Would love that farming guide. I'm a veteran Founder but I recently came back to the game after a long break and Duvuri is one of those things I've barely touched, outside of the Circuit to get Incarnon weapons so I have no idea how Kullervo works.
I believe he's done the farm on his most recent free to playthrough
This is legit the most ludicrous build I've ever seen
i'm excited to see what his future augments might be cuz he seems like he really does not need one at the moment
One possibility I see is an augment that extends the duration of his 1 buff, similarly to eternal war or cathode current.
i use him a lot, but if they would just fix his teleport attack missing quite often that would be nice
Hey Brozime! You mention in the video potentially dropping Umbral Fiber for an augment mod. Would you suggest making this swap for Wrath of Ukko now?
I hope he doesn't get nerfed he is one of my best frames with all purple archon shards
Great build! Question, because first time using him, how you get him to use combo points with out so much lose? He has a passive?
You can put efficiency mods for that on your melee and he’ll use less when you heavy attack I wasn’t using that here though
He has a hidden passive that the daggers from his 2 and 4 count as melee hits for his combo, so every foe in the 4 aoe will rapidly build the combo
Got any plans for a lore update now that whispers has released? Or are we waiting for 1999?
The Lore was already covered in a video
@@zedar0 I meant an update to the huge website timeline flowchart thing he made
We need at least one more lead in quest I think before I update it since some things are very unclear currently
Mmmk I'm grinding for Kullervo tomorrow when I get off work.
how is your strength 147 with overextended? cuz mines like 80 with the same mods on
Got excited by a "New player" title, and it's got double Arcanes and two maxed out and Forma-d Umbral slots in the build 😂
didn't actually watch the vid or listen to anything he said huh? New player build at 9:55
I guess i should finally finish farming the duviri resources for this frame
That is fucking bananas. Damn.
Kullevero +Hate incarnon all purple shards if you have them = hella red crits
how do you get the ui like that with the skills above the crystals? mine are just firey symbols in a line and you have to hover to see the skills
"for new players"
*Starts speaking an alien language"
I wish you would have shown the ceramic dagger build, since there really isn’t a ceramic dagger build that I could find on RUclips. Also hate is a beast of a melee weapon on him if u have the I car on but I get you were trying to show a new player build
Also still waiting for the furis build
For ceramic dagger you want Blood Rush, Sacrificial Steel, Condition Overload and Primed Pressure Point, all the crit damage, Killing Blow and a bane mod. All the starting combo evolutions, and final evolution is the pure crit one.
It's 4 months old but he showed all his incarnon builds in his "COMPLETE CIRCUIT INCARNON TIERLIST"
Why does it hurt me physically when he said “..POVERTY Kullervo”?
I think there are alot of frames that don't need helmith to be strong.
Now, i don't know if i wanna subsume him or not. Probably gonna farm him again for subsume.😮💨
Update. The augment is in fact good
i dont have the umbral forma's so what would be best, just using the regular mods for it instead?
When you run out of energy you can't use your 2
When your 2 is down, you take health damage
Now you get energy
Now you can use your 2
Nobody actually wants to fuck around with Bane mods.
@@StarfieldDisarray ooh ooh i do!
The Azothane and Tatsu Prime are about the same. With the Azothane having higher crit damge and the Tatsu Prime having higher base damage
They will both perform really similarly so honestly whichever you prefer is fine but I like the Azothane personally
Thanks for any help in advance.
i imagine its from arcanes on primary granting +combo
Should I use regular bane of corrupted or primed pressure point?
still hate what they did to wise razor
Where is the free to playthrough kullervo farm vid?
Current best weapons on him? 🙏🏽
Note that you can only access Kullervo from Kullervo hold only from the Duviri experience and for the lone story, it is RNG on whether you get the quest or not
Nah i farmed him pretty easy mr1
what's this? a glint of light that I dont have to subsume gloom for the millionth time to fully optimize a frame (in brozime's eyes)?
I mean, he hasn't used gloom in a while tbh.
There's nourish and pillage now too
@@insertedgynamehere___969 Yeah, when I got gloom finally subsumed, I thought I was gonna be using it everywhere. Then I got Nourish....
With ease of over-gaurd, why run health/armor at all? I go max range with a bit of strength and duration.
Yeah, same. His 2 just comes out extremely fast so it's so easy to utilize overguard gating even at 1000+ level.
You can skip it but in terms of added power you aren’t really going to find things he needs to be stronger for so the bulk is nice to be able to ignore enemies during all the easy weekly content or normal farms
Et Tu Kullervo!
Best for new players but is a lengthy grind in duviri
His 1 is a bless for melee lovers like me.
super fun to teleport around and throw heavy attacks with a glaive lol, i inverted tap and hold for 1 since i love teleporting around xD i0m sure you've already found out by yourself but his 1 also resets the jumps you can do in mid air
Are you sure the new players are capable of farming/crafting it?
Yes it’s extremely easy and has no requirements besides doing the Duviri quest
really basic strat:
check where each item is needed for kullervo, join duviri, grind one item, finish one mission to get a decree (to save the loot) and rinse and repeat for each item
@@Sajimu12 you do actually need to complete runs in order to get the Kullervo currency but for everything else yea you can nearly quit farm it

Comment for the algorithm
Fantastic idea
Should I go for him or just keep building gauss? That weapon looks cool but I’m trying to sorta copy your gauss build. Still chugging through the start chart and mostly playing solo unless I get randoms
If you like Gauss, stick with Gauss. Kullervo is amazing, and eventually you'll be looking to build a diverse roster of lots of Warframes that do different things, but there's no rush and Gauss is strong as heck too.
@@Joe90h thanks, I have a few other primes I got from trade chat for dirt cheap it seems so I have options. I got into warframe for gauss so I’ll stick with him. I’m trying to recreate Brozimes Caustacyst Gauss build when I get to the point where it’s necessary just because it looks so fun.
@@RealNinjaBrain Just know Primes are only very, very slight upgrades of base versions, and you should never let anyone convince you frames like Kullervo, Styanax and Dagath aren't worth investing in because they'll be Primed in however many years because that's nonsense. Or even if you fall in love with lesser used frames like Yareli or Caliban, that's valid too. Don't let the meta push you towards things you don't enjoy, because the whole point of a videogame is to have fun, and Warframe's extremely forgiving when it comes to meta stuff regardless.
Whats the deathcube build?
Does overguard have a shield gate with it?
Yes.
It gets a brief one on casting his 2 and a brief one on losing it

this build is alright only because theres other builds with him that can hit damage cap😭
The MIGHTY SEER is perfect with him
