Hello! I’m 76, retired teacher this year! I have never laughed so hard!! He reminds me of my kids in the classroom!! Never knew what to expect from them! I loved every minute!! 45 years!! My students are still calling me to see how I am. The last 2 years were hard on them because I got breast cancer, and then I started losing my sight due to a benign tumor on my optical nerve/carotid artery. They stood with me the whole time. I miss them so much!! 😅

First rule of baking, I learned in my 7th grade home economics class back in 1975, was read the recipe all the way through before you start!
Now, at 62, I also pre measure all ingredients into separate bowls before I start, in case I realize I am out of an ingredient I knew I had. 🤷 My dishwasher doesn't care how many dishes it washes.

One thing that has helped me over the years is reading the instructions first. It helps to get an idea of what you will be doing. A quick tip with your parchment paper that will be so much easier. After you get the right size, wad it up and make a ball. Then you run the ball underwater, squeeze it out, unravel it, and it will stick to the cookie sheet. If you bring the parchment paper up the sides of the cookie sheet, you will have less cleanup, too! I hope this helps! Keep the low-carb recipes coming!

You can seperate yolks from white by "pouring" the yolks back and forth between the broken egg shells while the white drips into your bowl. And beating egg whites don't get better or more stiff by continuing to beat them. Once they reach the point of stiff peaks, stop. If you continue to beat them they fall and will become liquidy.

@@lynne3830Imo, Carbquik is a dirty keto option. Contains wheat flour, canola oil.... just have to plow through the ingredients to read if it's an option for you. It does state 2g carbs in one biscuit, which is appealing. Of course, it is a tad pricey at around $12 for a 2 pound box (Wal-Mart). Yet, is that not the nature of "anything" keto-friendly? 🐈

Love this. So 2 months later I hope you realize it is the Folding In process that you messed up with the first version. You had stiff peaks. You swirled it around until you had beaten them down. But, if you did it again, added the ingredients before the stiff peaks, and gently folded them in, you would have a winner. Take a minute or 90 to watch Marian Berry's [UK] cooking show. You will learn about stiff peaks, folding them in, etc. Keep it up, you are fun to watch!

I'm not a professional cook or baker This is hysterical those are stiff peaks! Weigh the egg whites divide by 7 and use parts per recipe as appropriate and never ever ever throw away an egg yolk if it's still good l!!!!Love you videos😂

    Cooking Hints:
    1) Crack eggs on a flat surface. When you crack eggs on the side of a bowl, it’s pushing the egg shell into the egg and then you get egg shells in the bowl.
    2) Salts are different from each other. Sea salt is different than the stuff in the blue canister. The density of the salts are different and you may have a saltier result or it might have deflated your batter.

I just made this today, and I used Herbs de Provence instead the the suggested herbs and it turned out FABULOUS !!! ❤
I have a mold made for hamburger buns, so I used that to corrall my "dough."
Hubby and I split one in half with butter on it since we already ate supper and it was 😋🤤
I'm DEFINITELY going to this again. The ones I made today - btw, I got seven buns out of the recipe - anyway, I'm using these for the 4th of July meals

I really enjoyed watching your video, you are definitely hilarious, I think your channel will be a hit because you are an average everyday cook, therefore a lot of people will relate to you. you show the everyday average Joe that they too can be their own chef and create their own masterpiece in their own kitchen. Thank you for sharing I will definitely try the second version which is the cottage cheese version.❤💯🔥🔥

Your amaze me you’re brilliant to grab a channel named cooking with Dave and I don’t really think you practiced the recipe for yourself or us.What a hoot like no fear. How long can you continue like that tho, maybe a bit of practice but keep at it Dave you’re real.
I’m going to go back and watch the cottage cheese pizza cloud bread.
