Great groove, Melvin! Pages was such a great band - and Jay Gradon had some killin' players for those sessions: Richard Page, Steve George, Neil Stubenhaus, and Vinnie! I loved the writing on that project...
Hey Barnaby! So nice to see you on RUclips! Love the "Digital Madness" album. I'm a big fan of the LA jazz fusion scene and especially Vinnie. That's how I came across of your music. Greetings from Switzerland. Are you still active?
Well, I'm hearing this song for the first time. I love what you are doing here. I don't feel I need to go and find the original - this is complete. And completely brilliant.
Thanks and 1000 times thanks to let us to see your playing so close. We all love to learn every details you share with us.Thanks , thanks , thanksGOD BLESS YOU.

As a massive Pages fan I've watched this video so many times, and had no idea the man I was watching was the bassist for Sexual Chocolate on the first Coming To America movie. Fantastic playing, sir!
He makes it look so easy and that's really annoying!! *Smile* It's all love. One of the best in my Book. God Blessed Melvin in that special way.....Can't find any info on that Corona Bass he is playing, would appreciate a little help here Melvin. Can U tell us about the Bass?
Dear Melvin, I have bee following you for years, you have inspired me more than any bass player. I have tried collecting your equipment through the years and just recently got a Rodenberg GAS pedal. Also had an Xotic bass made built which to my embarrassment was not the bass you were playing with Lee Ritenour after all. LOL!So please crack and tell us where you are getting these "Corona" basses. I know they are not made out of old beer barrels! LOLI know that it is your touch and talent that makes any bass sing and am in the process of ordering a Ken Smith. I had a Fodera built last year. Thanks for your dedication to sharing your highs with us!Aloha, Paul da Plumma
