When my husband and I used to argue a lot as teenagers, we would go to the bookstore to have important conversations. Not only did the environment keep us calm because we love being around books, but there was no option for things to get out of hand. We discovered that by accident, but it helped us so many times
That is genius 🤍 thank you for sharing
@@drmichelledaf of course. Thank you for your wisdom as well ❤️
That's a good one, my only concern would be strangers picking up on us having a deep intimate serious convo. I'm very private so idk. Great idea for sure.
@@AvaLynn85 there were never people around. We were alone in the aisles. I’m the same way with being so private and we would just whisper.
As a muslim girly I really enjoy this content and I find it beautiful that despite our differences in beliefs we can find a common ground and still learn from eachother to better ourselves
Hahaha.. yes I'm a Hindu girl and I love her content
Yes. Love this for you ladies ❤
Yeah me too❤❤
Lord, heal me first, my body, mind, and spirit to be in a healthier relationship this time around. I
Being mindful of your nonverbal communication when speaking with your partner is so important. I remember when my boyfriend was having a conversation with me, and I didn't like what he was saying. And without even realizing it, I had rolled my eyes. He immediately called me out on it and calmly told me it was a disrespectful thing to do. It took me off guard since I hadn't even realized I had done it. I apologized and made sure to be mindful of my non-verbal cues when speaking to him, especially if I don't agree or like what I'm hearing.
Exactly! Thanks for sharing 🤍
Oh my gosh 😮I’m a widow but I can remember doing this. I don’t want to show my future husband any dis respect
Yes my guy says I roll my eyes and don’t even realize I do it! Sometimes I just make faces and it’s not rolling my eyes but I try to not do that!
I'm not gonna not roll my eyes because you don't like it, I think that's controlling. As long as I'm not yelling, calling you out of your name, or being mean, what's the problem. Let Me Roll My Fucking Eyes🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
When you mention looking good immediately the story of Esther popped in my mind. She fasted, made him a banquet and put on her royal best to ask him a favor that reached across his whole dominion.
Queen 👸 Esther 🩷 Yay 😁 Luv It 😍
I am literally in class EVERY TIME I watch this channel! The channel is God sent!!! 💛✝️💛
lol I am glad to hear that 😘And thank you 🤍
Yes being soft and sweet always works well 99% of the time!!! xoxox
Exactly! 💕
Omg you look so healthy and glowy. This is why I love being dark skin bc the melanin just hitssss🥰😍😍😍
👏🏿❤️
@jxtyra6167 Girl you are gorgeous yourself if that's you on the pic here.
Thank you love 🤍
As a newlywed, this is very insightful. I’m going to watch this a few times & take notes, because I really do want to have better communication with my husband.
Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉
This is so good sis! Im learning this as a new wife! I love what you said about going to God and not making an idol out of our husbands.
Congratulations
I’m not married yet but this was one of the things the Holy Spirit revealed to me during my preparation time is “come to me whenever you don’t like or agree with something your husband says. Pray to me about it.”
I'm so grateful that you are on yt sharing these videos for women, I'm taking in all this knowledge. I can't thank you enough.
You are so welcome darling 🤍
As a divorced woman who is seeking marriage again, this information is invaluable! You have a gift and I’m so glad that you chose to share it with us. Thank you ❤
🎵GOOD MORNNIIIING GORGEOUS!!!🎶
OH MY GOODNESS, I'm LOVING these videos. So grateful!🙌🏾🤍🤎🦋
You're so welcome my darling 🤍
He is not your provider ! God is ! Wow ! Thank you for the reminder that I identify with as a Muslim ❤
I just found your channel and I’m staying lol. I’m not married and there’s no man in sight but I like how you communicate and I kinda see myself in you. (As in I see my future self as gentle in communicating like you are). I’m 23 so I’ll be keeping your tips in my back pocket for when I need to use them lol
I am not yet married, because I am waiting for God's timing. But I am waiting and preparing for it too🥺❤️
You truly delivered a msg from God❤
What about when a man points out everything you do wrong to him & tries to argue about everything? When you tell him he hurts your feelings he doesn’t care. I try to not be combative or counteract every point but it gets to a point where I feel like I’m getting beat up & have to offend myself
Defend myself*
I was in the same boat for ten years...den suddenly I had an anxiety attack n was prescribed medication. Dat slowed me down n i became more feminine and slow for those 2 months..after dat my treatment was over but I realised I need to slow down at regular intervals consciously. So then I made prayer and became additional kind and feminine with my husband. I started being more slow, smiling n started finding happiness in my own little things like plucking flowers and arranging them, decorating kids noodles in their plates, cutting fruits a certain way, resting more, buying my cosmetics and taking care of my hair and skin. I started investing in myself and also gave him a lot of love and kindness. I also stepped back wen needed to, like wen he watched his games and tv shows.. so automatically he made changes in his behaviour..n now we get along much much better..
That is not a man who loves you. Both of you have to do the work. Tell him at a moment of calm, 'Hey (darling/love/honey etc.) I wanted to talk about something I've noticed about OUR communication. Sometimes when things are heated, I notice that I feel (insert how you feel) and I wondered what WE could do to fix this?' If he puts all the blame on you and has no interest in fixing anything then he's not the man for you.
If he sincerely tries to work with you to better your communication then that's a positive sign. Sometimes as women we bend over backwards for men who would never take a tiny little step for us. That's not love.
@sandysan177 Thank you for this great insight and advice ❤
@@hurlscoutss thank you for your response. I’m just super frustrated with mine lately & am at a breaking point. The last argument we had it made me feel as if I’m always going to be blamed for everything. He does try to do things differently when I speak to him about stuff I don’t like but it’s been exhausting lately! I lost my dog of 14 years, the one thing I’ve loved the most in my life & don’t feel he’s been supportive when this is my biggest loss. He continues to pick fights & arguments with me when I’m telling him I’m grieving, bring me up & give me a shoulder to lean on but it’s all about his emotions/ feelings & what I do wrong. I’m exhausted. I’ve never met such an emotional man in my life
Thank you so much. I've really learnt a lot of things. In all you said let God be at center of it all.
This is so good and your feminine energy is radiating ❤
I truly appreciate your Channel and podcast. As a newlywed and godly woman, the advice give is so helpful and informative.
Thank you so much! I am thankful that it's helping you. May the Lord keep your marriage beautiful!
Wow, official new sub! It’s so refreshing to find a queen that thinks the way you do. Your words are so powerful and super helpful. I love videos like this because this world sometimes forces you to have such a tough exterior. And by the time you get home, your feminine energy is turned off. This reminds me to check into myself first before I hit my fiancé with an attitude he didn’t deserve.
I love it sister queen! 🫶🏾 I’m listening to your podcast once I get to the office. 💜
Thank you for sharing content like this. From a soon to be wife 🫶🏾💜💍💁🏾♀️✨
You’re the best feminine coach on RUclips!!!!
Thank you Michelle. I tired helping my man with packing his clothes, organising them. Be his help like God has assigned me to. Thank you so much
One of my favorite ways to start my mornings is goooood morning gorgeous! Knowing we’re about to soak up and learn some amazing deliciousness every single time!😍🥰💘 thanks a million always I can’t wait to watch! And you ROCK this color😘
You are beautiful, have a lovely voice, so smart and most of all WISE. May GOD bless your ministry!! You've helped me in my journey to evolve in my ability to discern cues from ADONAI, in my femininity and self image. I appreciate your work
Yes! Talk to God first! Good calming strategy!
Absolutely!
Yes!! ❤❤
Great points. I struggle with timing. My husband is great about recognizing my body language.
What about the husband who is more sensitive (emotional/ feminine) and EVERYTHING offends them? Every time I’m being more gentle and aware of how I speak to him he even gets offended by that. I am VERY tired of it , he literally grew up as a “golden child” and nobody ever critiqued him , called him out and just saw him as this perfect child and adult. But the truth is he just did his dirty in secret so no one ever knew until we got married and now everything is being brought to light (by God). When I speak to him kindly he either says I’m talking to him like he’s dumb , a 5 year old or I’m not speaking the whole truth. But he can’t handle the truth or the “raw” version. Everything you’ve said in this video I have been practicing for four years but because he’s insecure and keep being wishy washy with The most High , he is easily offended. I feel like I’m married to a child and not a 30 year old man.
Is he a believer? Doesn't sound like it. What about Godly counsel?
Ask to go to marriage counseling with him . I hope you get it resolved soon 🙏🏻🩷
@@danilaroche1156 He grew up in the church has great Christian parents but ran away (like Jonah) as soon as he got out the house. He’s been a lukewarm Christian but now I don’t even know if he truly wants to be an on fire believer. We have Godly counsel from our trusted friends at church , His parents and God parents …. He is lost and doesn’t seek out the help. And I really just need him to make up his mind because I can’t keep living like this. I’ve had two miscarriages in the last 3 years we have two children and I’m pregnant now. I honestly rather be a single mom again (I had one before him for 5 years) , be at actual peace and devote my time to the most high without having to babysit and be stressed out by him 😔
@@Yyll-il3 He makes excuses. I’ve been in personal therapy for 3 years and I JUST got him to go for himself this last January when I gave him back the ring for some divorce worthy things. He claims once we get settled to where we’re moving we can start marriage counseling. That’s my last resort tho after that I’m getting my things in order so I can file for separation.
The way he was raised really doesn’t make sense on how he has been in our marriage. He had the nearly perfect example of what a Godly marriage looks like ! I really don’t understand
"some ladies have been doing your makeup exactly the same since You were 16" 😂😂😂 how did She know
LOL!
These videos should be titled healthy communication in a relationship. I find most relationships videos are adressing women on how and what to do to please a man when in fact men needs all the advice more than women . Women have been taught from a young age how to be a woman and a wife etc but these men lack these knowlege and skills hence women often file for divorce because their partner is failing in many ways.
I stumbled upon this vid… I blame the algorithm… however, I was married, now divorced and seeking to remarry for the long haul… I can state, I never had any of these interactions in any relationship… but checking out this vid, I have a better idea of what to look for in a wife. Salute.
Thank you for this video. My question is if you have always had unhealthy ways of communication, how do you create a change to where they can trust enough to be open to these changes?
You were annointed for this. Bless you! 💛💕
Thank you so much ☀️✨ God bless you
I once got into trouble because I opened my eyes wide when my boss said something that actually happened differently. I learnt by force how to keep a neutral face no matter what. .
Thank you, learning to be a good wife for the future, and a better girlfriend now
I feel my man (soon ex husband) needs to hear this, he does all these things to me, the very reason we're divorcing along with all the drama that comes when I make a request.
This episode is really helpful to me. I know communication is important in marriage and the topics you discussed are right on target. Thank you
This is just what I needed to hear today. Glad I found your video while still in my Fiancé era!
I think this is amazing could we have a video for people in the dating phase trying to bring up issues or thing that bother us
Yes! 🤍 Thank you for watching ✨
I'm 32 single woman
I've allowed God to heal and cleanse my soul to be open to be in a healthy relationship at right time.
Amen
Yesss, set rhe table! Great wisdom!
This is a masterclass for me 🎉I am so grateful for this free workshop. Communication is the key in any relationship success and something I still need to master.
I am happy to hear that honey. Thank you for watching
Adore your vibe. Thank you for spreading it.
Omg, right on time Dr. Daf!! I have a inquiry for my boyfriend, and I don't want to look like I'm creating a conflict or argument ❤😂 thank you! ❤️
You're welcome love. Best wishes to you!
Dr Michelle, thank you for that prayer in the introduction 🤗🤗💞

Great topic! I do well with this sometimes and sometimes not.
We all have to be mindful it's not always automatic. Thanks for sharing 🤍
I subscribed before I watched the video, I knew it was going to be good… and it was 🙌🏽❤️🦋
Oh Michelle you are such a gem… 💎and the best part is you are God centric.. it’s just that you need to be connected to one true God who created you, me and Jesus Christ (peace be upon him).. may the Almighty, the Supreme One guide you… we all are blessed to have you… 🫶🥰❤️
Please be respectful of her beliefs. Your religion is yours and yours only. This is her platform and she is entitled to her belief in Jesus Christ as our Lord and saviour.
This is gold thank you🌷
It’s been a while loving see you on my feed ❤again
Yay!! My checking are daily at 7:40 in the morning. I got something right

Love this series 😍😍😍
Thanks for watching love 🤍
Thank you 🙏🏽 🙏🏽
This was refreshing!
Almost 5 minutes in & still waiting for “communication skills” to be communicated
My only comment is, why would he feel the need to ask his wife to clean up the house. It’s your domain. It should be your pleasure to keep a tidy home. ❤
My husband and i used to communicate great before we got married. After we got married its like he wasnt as intentional so i asked is there something im doing that's thats not creating a safe space for him and he said its my approach and my face(angry face). So I told him i would work on it and i did. I would wait maybe 3days after an incident so i could be calm, id make sure my tone wasnt aggressive, etc and he then would blow up and create the argument so that we wouldnt have to talk......I realized this was just manipulation.
What if I want to feel understood on this level ? Sometimes men aren’t as this deep and I need validation when I feel hurt 😅
@Dr.MichelleDaf...Thank you soooo Much for this...Your words is Gold🪙💯💯💯
You are most welcome sweetie

Thank you so much ma'am. This is for me.
Hello doctor Michelle, I've been your fan for years now. I watch your videos and I even used to listen to your podcast on Spotify but of late I'm no longer able to listen to your podcast because I can't find it when I search Spotify. Someone told it it could be because the owner of the podcast selected specific locations for their podcast distributions or something like that so I'm not able to get it in my part of the world. I'm in Zambia, Africa by the way. So if there's something you can do to make the podcast accessible again please do😔. Hope you'll see this.
Thank you for your support honey 🤍 I haven't made any adjustments to my settings so I don't know. Are you searching "The Dr. Daf Show"?
Thank You So Much
So pretty !!!!
Great points. I spent my entire life never speaking up or having an adult conversation.
Wow!! This is so admirable but not easy. God help me. I really need to do better.
❤ me too. May God have mercy on me 🙏🏾😢
Great video 💜
Thank you!!

Hi Dr Daf big fan of yours in need of advice how can I get a session with you our ask for your advice?
